  1. Hi chammerbeck, I am sorry to hear. We are waiting for Amazon to certify our connected home implementation and the skills are going to be fixed (we have a call with Amazon next week). With regards to recurring fees, HUB, and SmartThings, I do agree with you. As I have mentioned before, ISY is not for those who want simple command/control and dependence on the cloud regardless of recurring fees. Good luck. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi larryllix, Since there's really no way to figure out how long it takes from device->PLM communications, I would venture to say that it would probably very similar (not the same) and perhaps more since the PLM has to look through its database to find the device. So, the larger the number of devices in the PLM, it would take longer. But, it should still be in milliseconds unless there's something wrong with the PLM. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi Mike, Thank you. We do know Echo has problems with light, lights, bedroom. For instance, I had to use "master room" for bedroom. So, what you might want to try (instead of light) is "room". With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hello everyone, Please note that communications from ISY->PLM->DEVICE->PLM->ISY will take at least 1 second (500 m.s. minimum for communications from PLM to Device). With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hello all, We are all anxious. We are going to have a call with Amazon next week as the skill (slots) are not working very well. In short, Echo has a hard time filling in slots and sends an empty slot. That's why you might get repeated "which device" WITHOUT "I cannot find x, which device?". I shall keep everyone posted. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi Drexx3, No worries at all. Please do keep us posted with what you find. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Drexx3, We have purchased multiple copies of MobiLinc and there are 100s of users using it now with ISY Portal. And, you have not thrown away any money. We have a money back guarantee with no questions asked so, I urge you to send an email to sales@universal-devices.com and request for a refund. With regards to the variable question, MobiLinc is using cached version of the configuration. Uninstalling, rebooting, and reinstalling it fixed the issue for some but not for others. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi ronbo, Are the missing scenes inside folders? If not, would you please send /rest/nodes from ISY to support@universal-devices.com and let us know which scenes are missing? With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi eagleco, I am so very sorry. Yes, it was down for 10 minutes. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi jddiebolt, Thanks so very much for the update. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi wojo, I am not sure what we will be checking for. Would you please submit a ticket with your UUID? With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hello MWareman, Thank you for the feedback: 1. The spoken fields are no longer propagated to the portal since they would require a Refresh 2. Programs are going to be there shortly 3. Whatever you used to have should still be there 4. Yes, we should be able to search based on type What do you mean by encoded? With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hello everyone, Just a quick comment: If Alexa says that it didn't find x in your library, it means that it's reverted to Connected Home: that prompt is not coming from ISY Portal. So, please make sure you verbalize the TO strongly. i.e. Alexa tell izzy TO ... With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hello SirParadox, Thanks so very much for the update and I am so very glad you got it working. You are always welcome to submit a ticket to support@universal-devices.com at any time. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi SteveSBE, Please review this article for some mitigation strategies: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=INSTEON_Random_All_On_Events With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi bgrubb1, Yes, in the portal: 1. Click on Select Tool for your ISY 2. Choose ISY Information 3. Copy the "URL to ISY" ... this is the URL to your ISY, so all the REST commands should be appended to this URL Please note that your credentials are portal credentials and not ISY's. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi jddiebolt, Please do be kind enough to submit a ticket. It seems that your port forwarding rules were pointing to the old address. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi jddiebolt, You can use DHCP reservations instead of using static IP address. They have the same effect with the advantage that if you ever change your router, you don't have to worry about resetting network settings for ISY. What's your ISY's firmware version? If not 4.3.26, please upgrade and make sure both your UI and firmware are the same. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi dbuss, Are you connecting the Admin Console to ISY locally or are you remote? With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi MWareman, Thank you. So, basically a notification that pops up on the screen (instead of text)? With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi jdddibolt, I suspect ISY cannot get out to the Internet. If you have configured your ISY with a static IP address, please revert to DHCP or use 8.8.4.4 as your DNS. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hello all, All great solutions alas I think they would make life very difficult for the user. At the moment, and unfortunately, we have no plans of forcing things into Metric vs. English including temperatures. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi DavidG, What is notification loss? With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi SirParadox, There are two issues here which are not related. One is enabling remote access and the other, and not necessary, is to install self-signed (or otherwise) certificates. For the first issue, it seems that your router is not UPnP enabled. And, it's really not a good idea to use UPnP to do port forwarding (that's why File | Enable Internet Access does not work). It's best to create manual port forwarding rules in your router to the https port on your ISY (do NOT forward to the http port): http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:Remotely_Connect_to_Your_ISY#Configuring_a_Non-UPnP_Router Please note that File | Enable Internet Access and manual port forwarding rules are mutually exclusive: once you create manual port forwarding rules, you should NOT do File | Enable Internet Access. Once you have this resolved and you can access your ISY remotely, optionally, you may want to install a certificate: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Network_Security With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi PhanTomiZ, I do not think you did what I suggested. Right mouse click on any Program then choose Status icons. With kind regards, Michel
