  1. Hello everyone, First, I must sincerely thank Amazon for their dedication in being one of the most professional and success oriented companies with whom I have dealt with. It's been quite a refreshing experience. Amazon has enabled the Connected Home feature for ISY on a Beta basis and here are the instructions for enabling it: 1. Login to alexa.amazon.com 2. Click on this link 3. Login to your Amazon account and ISY will show up in your app under Connected Home 4. In the Echo app, go to Settings | Connected Home and then choose Discover Devices. This will bring in all the devices you have created a mapping for in your ISY Portal Please see this link for more detailed instructions. Please note that since this is beta, only the first 450 will be allowed access. Edit 01/24/2016- NO LONGER IN BETA!!!! Everyone is welcome. Please provide feedback. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi larryllix, Yes, we are planning on making almost everything node based including Weather. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi Broyd, If you have 4.4.2, when you click on Change Location, in the DST Rule drop down choose "None". In 4.3.26 (and below), simply uncheck Day Light Saving checkbox. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Broyd, That's correct. Basically, the DST Rules defines when DST should be applied and unapplied. There's also a rule of NONE which means that no DST rules are applied. From what you are explaining, it seems that Crestron does not observe any DST. i.e. the time never changes. Is that correct? If not, then we will have to make a new rule just for Crestron. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi James, Unfortunately there are NO INSTEON/MS APIs that can let you know whether or not the motion sensor is setup for Dusk/Dawn. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi Joseph, Please upgrade to 4.4.2 (http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/17732-release-442-beta-is-now-available/) and make sure you have 4.4.2 UI (Help | About). Once there, click on Change Location, choose the closest city to São Polo, and then enter the appropriate latitude and longitude. Please make sure DST Rule is set for Brazil. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Michel Kohanim replied to GeneInSoCal's topic in ISY994
Hi GeneInSoCal, It's been quite disappointing especially given the $$$ we had to spend to get certified by a third party and ONLY for SDG&E. This was back in early October of 2015. Have not heard anything back and I just sent them another email. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi Waketech, Unfortunately not natively. If you have the Network Module, you can use the dynamic/custom file content (http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-994i_Series_INSTEON:Networking#Dynamic.2FCustom_Page_Creation) and have a program that logs those values (substitution variables) at your predefined intervals. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi David, It seems that ISY has a hard time communicating with that specific device. What type of device is it and what's the load attached to it? With kind regards, Michel
  10. Michel Kohanim replied to GeneInSoCal's topic in ISY994
Hi GeneInSoCal, We pass Zigbee certification testing for SDG&E(and paid $$$ to do so). Then, SGD&E decided that we still have to go through their IT certification and we are still waiting! With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi Orest, It shall be done. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi chammerbeck, I am sorry to hear. We are waiting for Amazon to certify our connected home implementation and the skills are going to be fixed (we have a call with Amazon next week). With regards to recurring fees, HUB, and SmartThings, I do agree with you. As I have mentioned before, ISY is not for those who want simple command/control and dependence on the cloud regardless of recurring fees. Good luck. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi larryllix, Since there's really no way to figure out how long it takes from device->PLM communications, I would venture to say that it would probably very similar (not the same) and perhaps more since the PLM has to look through its database to find the device. So, the larger the number of devices in the PLM, it would take longer. But, it should still be in milliseconds unless there's something wrong with the PLM. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi Mike, Thank you. We do know Echo has problems with light, lights, bedroom. For instance, I had to use "master room" for bedroom. So, what you might want to try (instead of light) is "room". With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hello everyone, Please note that communications from ISY->PLM->DEVICE->PLM->ISY will take at least 1 second (500 m.s. minimum for communications from PLM to Device). With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hello all, We are all anxious. We are going to have a call with Amazon next week as the skill (slots) are not working very well. In short, Echo has a hard time filling in slots and sends an empty slot. That's why you might get repeated "which device" WITHOUT "I cannot find x, which device?". I shall keep everyone posted. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi Drexx3, No worries at all. Please do keep us posted with what you find. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Drexx3, We have purchased multiple copies of MobiLinc and there are 100s of users using it now with ISY Portal. And, you have not thrown away any money. We have a money back guarantee with no questions asked so, I urge you to send an email to sales@universal-devices.com and request for a refund. With regards to the variable question, MobiLinc is using cached version of the configuration. Uninstalling, rebooting, and reinstalling it fixed the issue for some but not for others. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi ronbo, Are the missing scenes inside folders? If not, would you please send /rest/nodes from ISY to support@universal-devices.com and let us know which scenes are missing? With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi eagleco, I am so very sorry. Yes, it was down for 10 minutes. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi jddiebolt, Thanks so very much for the update. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi wojo, I am not sure what we will be checking for. Would you please submit a ticket with your UUID? With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hello MWareman, Thank you for the feedback: 1. The spoken fields are no longer propagated to the portal since they would require a Refresh 2. Programs are going to be there shortly 3. Whatever you used to have should still be there 4. Yes, we should be able to search based on type What do you mean by encoded? With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hello everyone, Just a quick comment: If Alexa says that it didn't find x in your library, it means that it's reverted to Connected Home: that prompt is not coming from ISY Portal. So, please make sure you verbalize the TO strongly. i.e. Alexa tell izzy TO ... With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hello SirParadox, Thanks so very much for the update and I am so very glad you got it working. You are always welcome to submit a ticket to support@universal-devices.com at any time. With kind regards, Michel
