  1. Hello all, Thanks you. We'll take a look. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hello all, Unfortunately you won't be able to have each Echo only communicate with one ISY unless you have different accounts. Currently all Echos communicate with one Portal account. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi Broyd, Thank you. It's now changed to US-Canada. We'll take a look at the screen size issue. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Gerry, 1) yes 2) yes ... different syntax. Connected Home is for lighting only (on/off/dim/brighten). Skill is for more advanced things such as door locks, thermostats, energy information (shortly), etc. 3) you should use both With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi gduprey, With ISY skill (tell izzy to), you can simply say: Alexa, tell izzy to switch ISY With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi universe, The sequence is: Power, RX, TX turn on, then RX/TX turn of and then Mem blinks. If you don't have an SD Card, only Power and blinking error. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi Joseph, Thanks so very much for the update. Yes, we can include Sao Paulo in the list. Consider it done. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi Joseph, LeeG as always is correct. Here's the link to 4.4.2: http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/17732-release-442-beta-is-now-available/ With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello everyone, Thanks so very much for the feedback. Indeed quite exciting and it's working fabulously for me as well. Some answers: 1. You do need the ISY Portal and you have to link it to your Amazon Account (ISY Portal | My Profile | Link Amazon Account) 2. The mappings are those that are defined in the Portal (not ISY). So, please make sure you have those mappings 3. Programs have not yet been thoroughly tested with Connected Home but we'll be working on them soon 4. The elapsed time in ISY portal is less than a second from getting the command and initiating a call to ISY. So, once we have quantifiable metrics, we can provide the feedback to Amazon Hi nadler, a. Please make sure you follow the instructions in the first post so that your Echo is linked to ISY. In short, in your Echo app, under Connected Home, you SHOULD see ISY listed b. Please make sure you have the mappings (spoken to device) in the Portal (Select Tool | Amazon Echo) c. Please make sure your Amazon Echo account is linked to ISY (see #1) And, in my rush (out of excitement), I forgot to thank the brain behind all of this: Benoit, your hard work, diligence, and professionalism in getting all of this working is unparalleled. THANK YOU. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi Joseph, You should not have any problems. This said, please do be kind enough to test DST Rules for Brazil and let us know if you have any issues. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hello everyone, You can now test the Connected Home feature with ISY: http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/17861-amazon-echo-connected-home-feature-beta/ With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hello everyone, You can now test the Connected Home feature with ISY: http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/17861-amazon-echo-connected-home-feature-beta/ With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hello everyone, First, I must sincerely thank Amazon for their dedication in being one of the most professional and success oriented companies with whom I have dealt with. It's been quite a refreshing experience. Amazon has enabled the Connected Home feature for ISY on a Beta basis and here are the instructions for enabling it: 1. Login to alexa.amazon.com 2. Click on this link 3. Login to your Amazon account and ISY will show up in your app under Connected Home 4. In the Echo app, go to Settings | Connected Home and then choose Discover Devices. This will bring in all the devices you have created a mapping for in your ISY Portal Please see this link for more detailed instructions. Please note that since this is beta, only the first 450 will be allowed access. Edit 01/24/2016- NO LONGER IN BETA!!!! Everyone is welcome. Please provide feedback. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi larryllix, Yes, we are planning on making almost everything node based including Weather. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi Broyd, If you have 4.4.2, when you click on Change Location, in the DST Rule drop down choose "None". In 4.3.26 (and below), simply uncheck Day Light Saving checkbox. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi Broyd, That's correct. Basically, the DST Rules defines when DST should be applied and unapplied. There's also a rule of NONE which means that no DST rules are applied. From what you are explaining, it seems that Crestron does not observe any DST. i.e. the time never changes. Is that correct? If not, then we will have to make a new rule just for Crestron. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi James, Unfortunately there are NO INSTEON/MS APIs that can let you know whether or not the motion sensor is setup for Dusk/Dawn. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi Joseph, Please upgrade to 4.4.2 (http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/17732-release-442-beta-is-now-available/) and make sure you have 4.4.2 UI (Help | About). Once there, click on Change Location, choose the closest city to São Polo, and then enter the appropriate latitude and longitude. Please make sure DST Rule is set for Brazil. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi GeneInSoCal, It's been quite disappointing especially given the $$$ we had to spend to get certified by a third party and ONLY for SDG&E. This was back in early October of 2015. Have not heard anything back and I just sent them another email. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi Waketech, Unfortunately not natively. If you have the Network Module, you can use the dynamic/custom file content (http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-994i_Series_INSTEON:Networking#Dynamic.2FCustom_Page_Creation) and have a program that logs those values (substitution variables) at your predefined intervals. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi David, It seems that ISY has a hard time communicating with that specific device. What type of device is it and what's the load attached to it? With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi GeneInSoCal, We pass Zigbee certification testing for SDG&E(and paid $$$ to do so). Then, SGD&E decided that we still have to go through their IT certification and we are still waiting! With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi Orest, It shall be done. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi chammerbeck, I am sorry to hear. We are waiting for Amazon to certify our connected home implementation and the skills are going to be fixed (we have a call with Amazon next week). With regards to recurring fees, HUB, and SmartThings, I do agree with you. As I have mentioned before, ISY is not for those who want simple command/control and dependence on the cloud regardless of recurring fees. Good luck. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi larryllix, Since there's really no way to figure out how long it takes from device->PLM communications, I would venture to say that it would probably very similar (not the same) and perhaps more since the PLM has to look through its database to find the device. So, the larger the number of devices in the PLM, it would take longer. But, it should still be in milliseconds unless there's something wrong with the PLM. With kind regards, Michel
