  1. Hi fryfrog, Please do be kind enough to send your request for discount to sales@universal-devices.com. We will definitely consider discount on a case-by-case basis till we figure out what's the best way to address this specific issue. With kind reagrds, Michel
  2. Hi Andy, I don't think it can be done: 1. Both Echos are on the same account 2. There's only one ISY 3. The names have to be unique With kind regads, Michel
  3. Hi fryfrog, We do have installer discounts. If you are registered as one, please send an email to sales@universal-devices.com and we'd be delighted to help. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hello guys, Scott, cyberk does NOT want to open port to M1XEP. This has nothing to do with ISY so I am not sure what ISY/SSL has to do with this topic. cyberk, if: 1. You already have eKeypad 2. Your eKeypad is configured to work with ISY 3. You have the ELK Module 4. YOu have ISY Portal Then, you can simply have eKeypad configurd to ISY Portal (as if it's an ISY) with your portal credentials. It should work. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hello all, Thanks so very much for the feedback and so very glad that it's working faster for everyone. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi Tim, No, you shouldn't have to do anything else at all. As long as you see MobiLinc Portal in Help | About, you should be OK. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi Michael, I am quite certain that what is being done is illegal (and we did check with our lawyers). They are providing the service as a commercial entity. There's also an additional aspect: tech support. HAM has been relatively good with tech support and fixing issues. And, this is because we have a licensing agreement with them and SLAs. Perhaps 5.0.x will help those who want to use other weather stations. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi Tim, You can definitely move back to MobiLinc Connect. All you have to do is to send a request to sales@universal-devices.com and request for a refund. Please note that MobiLinc Connect might not be supporting the Connected Home API (i.e. Alexa turn on x) and instead you might have to say something like (Alexa tell mobilinc to do x). So, please do consult with them. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi Scyto, Yes as long as ISY is not connected to the portal. If it is, then try Discover Devices. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello all, The last two service requests were related to MobiLinc Connect Modules still being active. If you have MobiLinc Connect Module (Help | About), please send your UUID to support@universal-devices.com. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi interactii, Please send your error log and UUID to support@universal-devices.com. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi Mack, ISY's error log. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi Jon, Excellent. Thanks so very much for the feedback. Mine increased by almost 100%! Almost immediate With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi bambamf16, Along the same lines as what ScottAvery suggested: 1. Remove the spoken word for that scene in the Portal 2. Make a program that only has Then and which turns on the scene. Don't put anything in Else 3. Create a spoken work association for that program in the Portal With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi Mastermog2, I am so very sorry to hear. Can you please send your error log to support@universal-devices.com? With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi cyberk, What is m1cloud functionality? With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi Jon, I have a remote session setup with Harold today. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi johnnyt, I am not sure how they do it. All I know is that we contacted WeatherBug, HAM, and Weather Underground and were told that for commercial usage we need to enter into a commercial licensing agreement. And, based on prices, we used HAM. We have no incentive in paying HAM but we do because it's being used as a commercial product. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi Xathros, Thanks so very much for the feedback. Definitely has to do with 5.0.2. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi barrygordon, Thanks so very much for the feedback and I totally agree. Currently, Connected Home only supports commands from Amazon servers to a Lambda function (i.e. Echo -> Amazon Server -> Lambda -> Portal -> ISY -> Portal -> Lambda -> Amazon Server -> Echo). And, in each step of the way, the certificates and authentication are checked. Benoit spent a significant amount of time figuring out where the bottlenecks were and it turns out that geographical proximity between Lambda and Portal caused between 500 and 1000 m.s. delay. To make the matters worse, Amazon server only talks to a Lambda function in a specific region. So, instead of having the ability to simply have Amazon talk to a Lambda closer to ISY Portal, we had to move the WHOLE portal to be closer to Lambda. Quite painful especially since DNS records didn't get updated for about 11 hours! All and all, I am happy that we made the move and, again, I do apologize for the interruption in service. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hello everyone, http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/18145-isy-portal-maintenance-02-10-2016/ With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hello all, I am so very sorry for the inconvenience. We moved the servers closer to Amazon Echo servers for improved performance and unfortunately their server didn't update its DNS till early this morning. Please do Discover again. Also, please note that you should see at least 50% performance improvement from Echo to ISY. I would love to hear more about your experiences. Again, sincere apologies. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi jpjoe, I am so very glad to hear. You can purchase the power supply from Smart Home or our store (https://www.universal-devices.com/sales/?category=accessories). This said, we do not have good shipping rates for individual units. So, if I were you, I would buy one from Frys (anything from 5-30 volts, center positive). Also, your ISY might still be under warranty and as such we would be delighted to send you one free of charge. If that's the case, please do not hesitate to contact us at sales@universal-devices.com. With kind regards, Michel
  24. HI jpjoe, I am so very sorry to hear. The first thing I recommend is using a different power supply. Anything between 5-30 volts will work, center positive. If you still do NOT see the power light turn on on your ISY, then please contact sales@universal-devices.com and we'd be delighted to help you out. Wtih kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi Lee, That's fantastic news and thanks so very much for the update. For your reference, here's a little Java command line utilities that takes HEX and converts them to what ISY Network Resources expects in the body: http://www.universal-devices.com/networkresources/HexToNRDecimal.zip With kind regards, Michel
