  1. Hi MWareman, Agreed. The reason is that Verify is for client authentication and it's GLOBAL. So, if you check that option (and include the intermediaries in the CA list), then all other https connections will try to authenticate the server (such as gmail, etc.) and will fail. This is part of the enhanced security that we are working on: making client authentication connection based and not global. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi MWareman, I agree that as the server we would have to support intermediaries eventually. I do have a source (OpenADR Alliance) for servers but a) the price is high and in all likelihood the server will not like it. We can certainly test a test certificate and see if the server likes it. If you are up for it, please send me an email and I'll send one to you. With kind regards, Michel
  3. MWareman, As I mentioned before, we had a high security requirement for which intermediaries were not allowed. With regards to your question: 1. Intermediaries can be installed in the clients (browsers) 2. For API calls, we will have to implement intermediaries Again, priority is low. With kind regards, Michel

    GET issue

Hi theojt, Ah, I didn't see /time at the end. Yes, open the Event Viewer, change the level to 3, and then issue the commands a few times. Then download Tools | Error Log and check the traffic. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi Joe, Is this isolated only to your RemoteLincs? Do you have any other RF only devices and, if so, do they work? With kind regards, Michel
  6. MWareman, The specs talk about certificates that have intermediaries (as a list). ISY does not support intermediaries and that was on purpose for specific trust issues arising in high security communications with only the root. We might have to put a flag in there and exclude it from high security and include it in other cases. At the moment, however, it has very low priority. With kind regards, Michel

    GET issue

Hi theojt, The REST command to ISY is not complete. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi Balok, That's the "only" way! With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi jkraus, Do you have any INSTEON thermostats or (non-INSTEON) baby monitors? If you have thermostats, unplug them and retry. If you have baby monitors, unplug them and retry! With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi Tyler, The reason your scenes don't work is because you did a Delete Modem. What you need to do is to find a good backup, do File | Restore ISY, and then follow up with File | Restore Devices. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi pjt588, I must say very close since we did have an actual phone conversation with Amazon Alexa Skill team lead. Quite impressed by their level of professionalism! With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi nathanstl, I am so very sorry to hear and this is quite odd. Please submit a ticket and we'll do a remote session. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi Amigo, Unfortunately not that I am aware of. RCS Zigbee thermostats do support schedules (and we support them) but the Z-Wave counterparts we have not been able to figure out yet. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi rmackson, Why would you want to do this? If you do, then you will lose your 994. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi nathanstl, MAC has a tendency of unzipping files. ISY requires the files to be zipped. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1483114?start=0&tstart=0 With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi Dracarys, All network resources/examples are listed here: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-994i_Series_INSTEON:Networking:Network_Resources With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi Xathros, That's the file that contains the INSTEON database for 14.9D.AC. Please check and make sure you still have this device in your system. If you do, you must remove it and then link it back. If you don't, then please remove it using the RF command. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi Chuck, My pleasure and yes indeed. I must say that this has been the only certification whereby the certifier was intimately involved and helpful. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi Big517, Yes, I sure hope so. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi Chuck, To our surprise, the Alexa Skills Team offered to go through the rest of the issues with us over the phone before our next submission! I am very pleased! We'll keep you all posted. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi FarmerGeek, No, ISY does not go to sleep. Finder sends a UDP packet to find ISY on the network. It could be that your computer (especially if it's a MAC), is blocking UDP traffic till you ping it (or do ifconfig en). With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi stusviews, As long as you use the same account tied to the portal, then yes. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Big517, You can access ISY remotely through the portal. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi stusviews, Do you mean two ISYs or two Echos? If ISYs, yes, you can actually tell Echo to switch ISYs. If Echos, yes, as long as they use the same Amazon account. With kind regards, Michel
  25. rhodges, I do apologize. We are at the final stages of getting multi-channel done. So, please stay tuned. With kind regards, Michel
