  1. Hi and thanks for the update. Of course this had everything to do with the HUB and I wished you had mentioned it before. The main reason is that ISY does not know what happens outside of it and all sorts of unexplained behavior should be expected. If you wish to use the HUB in conjunction with ISY, you must make sure that the set of "common" devices between the two is ZERO. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi io_guy, Has anything else changed? Anything at all? With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi Ron, Three questions: 1. Do you have any INSTEON thermostats? If so, remove the dongle 2. Do you have any baby monitors? 3. In the Admin Console, do you have any green 1011 icons next to any of the devices? With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Serge, Unfortunately not. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Steve, You tried File | Enable Internet Access and now your router no longer supports UPnP. Please go to File | Disable Internet Access. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi Envirogreen, I hope you don't have to. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi techguy99, Please do be kind enough to open a ticket. From my experience: if you are on a 64 bit machine, please do ensure that the 64 bit version of Java is also installed. Also, please do make sure you clear your Java cache before going to: http://isy.universal-devices.com/99i/4.0.4/admin.jnlp With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hello bjmyers, Since your requirement is that the lights MUST be turned on manually, then all you need is: If Control MS is Switched Off And Control MS is not Switched On Then Wait 15 minutes Set 'Lights' Off Basically, if no motion is sensed for 15 minutes, turn the lights off. As soon as motion is sensed, this program turns false and exists till the next time no motion is sensed. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi Envirogreen, Apologies for tardy reply. I think it would be best to contact our support as I am sure my slow responses must have gotten too frustrating. File | Delete Modem removes ALL the links to devices from the PLM and vice versa. The only way to get them back would be File | Restore ISY (to restore a backup with the links) and then File | Restore Devices. Personally, I think that might have been the case: you only have links to the newly added devices. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi junkycosmos, We have never tested multiple sensors with one bridge configuration and thus I do not know if it would work at all. If you don't mind, remove the bridge from ISY, do a factory reset on it, link it with the sensor and then add it to ISY using Link Management | Start Linking. As far as traffic, I have yet to see Test produce any traffic. The only traffic I have seen has been based on CO or actual fire. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hello atomic182, Please do not forward to port 80: it's insecure. I think it would be best to schedule remote session with our tech support so that we can help you configure it remotely. Tech support links below. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi GeneInSoCal, Yes but it's not very positive. We are waiting for a response for an RFP. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi Envirogreen, Way too low ... did you ever do a File | Delete Modem? With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi Envirogreen, How many links do you have in the PLM (Tools | Diagnostics | Show PLM Links Table) | Start | Wait for the process to finish | Count. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Thank you all for the observations. The issue is not the listener but how ISY figures out whether or not the client is still there. With HTTP, the threshold is lower (number of not ack'ed packets). With https, the threshold is higher. The problem is that if we increase the http threshold, we'll run into sockets that may not close for 14 minutes. For now, please use https. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi Bob, Thank you. I am not sure why you are asked to install the icon multiple times. What you might want to try instead is: 1. Go to http://isy.universal-devices.com/99i/4.0.4/admin.jnlp 2. Make sure the icon is installed for this URL 3. Once done and when ISY Finder dialog comes up, click on the Add button 4. Enter the httpS URL for your ISY With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hello Envirogreen, The improvement is that there are not communication errors. The problem is that the PLM has lost its links .... you might want to try File | Restore Modem (PLM). With kind regards, Michel
  18. MWaverman, You don't have to clear Java cache if the only thing you are doing is changing from http/https. As long as the jar files pointed to by the URLs are in the same level, everything should be OK. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi Bob, Thank you. Can you please try the https URL for ISY and let me know if it's any better? With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi Autonow, What NTP server are you using? You might want to try any one in the following list: http://tf.nist.gov/tf-cgi/servers.cgi With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi TechGuy, Please click on the thermostat node and then choose Diagnostics | Query Insteon engine. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi sbrink, Unfortunately you cannot yet assign status values to variables. This is something we are working on for our 5.x version. If you have certain temperatures in mind, you can have multiple programs for those temperatures and when status variables are available, then you can replace the logic. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi io_guy, Not much has changed in the networking section. Can you try https instead and let me know if you have the same issue? With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi Diggler, Please check the Third party section. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hello EdgemanVA, Welcome to our forum. Let's start by addressing your most important question: You either need ISY994/PLM OR the Hub. Not both. The next step is to figure out which one meets your requirements. With kind regards, Michel
