  1. Hello kaplansa, The fact that you could not add the devices using Start Linking tells me that there is surely a signal issue from the PLM to these switches. You see, Start Linking uses the lowest amount of power to ensure that subsequent communications will always succeed. If that failed, I am almost certain that this is the reason why you see all those 0101 icons since ISY cannot reliably communicate with your KPLs. My suggestion is, if possible, try one of the KPLs next to the PLM and see if that solves the problem. If it does, then we might have to think about either noise or phase bridging. Do you already bridge your phases with Access Points? With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hello JP, Thanks ... I am quite baffled too. This does not make sense at all. I am not sure what else I can suggest except for swapping the APs and see if the problem moves with the AP. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi Mack, You are correct! With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Illusion, Ghost is probably the culprit here Now, we just have to figure out if the ghost is in your house or in the unit. And, no, I have never heard anyone complain about this issue. Hopefully, others viewing this topic can chime in if they have experienced something similar. I am pondering if the new PLM has anything to do with it. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi Illusion, Thanks so very much. Unless this is a bug somewhere, control should never be activated unless someone or something actually turns the device on. Would you please keep an eye and let us know if you encounter the same problem again. In the meantime, the same program with the same switch and the same PLM is setup and is monitored as well. Wtih kind regards, Michel
  6. Hello JP, In some cases, too many APs (especially when used in smaller venues) cause more harm than good. If you know how many phases you have, the best thing to do would be to bridge the phases right at the breaker (using APs) and then use APs only when you wish to extend the RF range for RF devices. As it is right now, it seems that you are using the APs for both extending the RF range as well as bridging the phases. Correct? With kind regards, Michel
  7. Is your 2.8.4 one that you just downloaded and installed yesterday? Please note that Java cache does NOT get cleared if you have any browsers open or if you have any Java applications running. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi Illusion, Thank you. I am a little confused: how do you know the this program was run because of your 2476D? 2476D comprises only two of the conditions. How about all the other conditions? In short, how did you arrive at the conclusion that the problem was the 2476D in the bathroom? With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi Mike, I am so very glad that you got everything working. The reason you have two nodes is the way they should behave when responders in a scene. For instance, if you put the off in a scene, on commands can unlock and vice versa. If you are not going to use them in any scenes, then they are identical. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi Illusion, Indeed quite odd! May I ask the type of device and the firmware version? With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hello apostolakisl, The applet/application should be the same if the firmware version of your ISY is identical to http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/firmware_version/. In short, I still think there's a Java cache issue whereby your computer is using the cached version of the applet. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hello johnnyt, You will have to clear the cache IF AND ONLY IF you install new firmware. In normal working conditions, the cache actually helps since you won't have to download everything every time. .JNLP is an application which runs independent of the browser where as the applet runs within the browser's process. The code base is the same for both so they should behave indentically. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi apostolakisl, Thanks. This is more than strange. The code path is the same for all switches (Admin Console goes through a list and checks capabilities based on device type. Both devices are LISTED in the same list so, if one works, the other one must as well). Above in combination with the fact that we recently added 2876DB in the list, basically point to an older version of the Admin Console. Did you try the following URL: http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/2.8.4/admin.jnlp ? With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hello handyman300, If pressing the set button on MorningLinc (not the remote that comes with the lock) locks/unlocks your lock then please: 1. Remove MorningLinc from ISY 2. Do a factory rest on it 3. Link it back to the lock 4. Add it to ISY making sure you use the THIRD option (add existing links) With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi johnnyt, Thanks so very much. Disabling Java cache on .jnlp files may cause some problems one of which is that the computer is going to try and download all the files all the time and thus, if one fails, it might try to download it from ISY in which case you will be asked to login (from ISY). With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hello apostolakisl, What URL are you using? Did you clear your Java cache before using the Admin Console. Again, support for 2876DB was added recently. Please try: http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/2.8.4/admin.jnlp With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi Steve, This is quite strange ... if the file size is 48 bytes, then it should always be 48 bytes regardless of computer you are using. Please do be kind enough to contact our support team (818-631-0333) to schedule a support session. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hello ingeborgdot, With ISY you can add other non-time related conditions to your programs such as occupancy, etc. Yes, and you can always get help here! With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi Mack, The difference is basically the same: Status is evaluated IF AND ONLY IF the status of the device changes Control is evaluated regardless of the status of the device. So, if you send 10 on commands, they will all run the program in which Control is used but will only at most once where the Status is used (when the status actually changes). With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi JP, There's surely something wrong with either the AP or the thermostat since the range is usually more than 10 feet. Are these new APs? With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hello apostolakisl, Thanks so very much. They both should work but 01.30 (2876DB) support was added in 2.8.3 and above. So, please do be kind enough to upgrade to 2.8.4 and make sure you are using the correct URL. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hello johnnyt, If so, then are you using the icon placed on your desktop? If so, do you still have to double login? And, if so, what is your ISY's firmware version (2.8.3 and below had a bug where the resources could not be found in the application). With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hello Steve, Thanks. And, when you go to the directory where the file is saved, is the file size zero? With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hello apostolakisl, Apologies for not being more clear. Please look for a tag that contains the switch. What you sent me is a folder element. Sorry. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hello apostolakisl, Can you go to http://your.isy.ip.address/rest/nodes, search for one of these problematic switches, and then copy/paste the contents of the element for that switch? Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
