  1. Hello someguy, Did you get a dialog with instructions when you added your IRLincTX? With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi Brian, Unfortunately we cannot do that right now. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hello lawr1000, Thanks so very much for the details. I verified this as a bug and it has already been fixed for the next release. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hello someguy, I am glad that it worked. None of the new IRLinc TX firmware releases work with ISY and that's why SH has agreed to flash the older firmware (.49) for anyone requesting it. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hello lawr1000, You should be able to. Would you be kind enough to let me know what is your firmware (Help | About) level? Please also make sure that the device is indeed a dimmer and not a relay by clicking on it in the navigation tree and checking the title on the middle/top of the screen. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi Ken, Not that I've seen/heard. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hello jwf, I can tell you that HomePlug (ethernet over powerline) has been tested and there does not seem to be any interference with INSTEON. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi John, Does it have any communications interfaces (e.g. serial/tcp ip) beyond IR? With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello kingwr, I sincerely apologize for the problem. BrianH, Only at boot time does ISY know that the PLM is not responding and goes into safe mode. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello spage, Apologies for the inconvenience. I think the problem might be file system related. Would you be kind enough to: 1. Telnet to your ISY (http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... o_Your_ISY ) 2. Try adjusting the scene for any one its members 3. Let me know if you see any errors on the telnet screen With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hello wrdarnell, I would be delighted to provide you with all the development help you need. As far as the XML elements, they are ALL clearly defined/documented in: http://your.isy.ip.address/WEB/udiws20.ws . This WSDL is 100% consistent with all the REST/Web Services objects currently supported by ISY. As far as REST development, they are all defined here: http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=2252 If you do need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me at tech@universal-devices.com . With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hello billy, I am not aware of any API changes (or perhaps SH has not notified us and we'll be surprised by their next release) for the thermostat. Query is a proactive event which is initiated by ISY where as the status of fan, cool, and heat are simply group commands sent by the thermostat to its respective responders. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hello kingwr, Query button queries the following properties ONLY: 1. Temp 2. Cool setpoint 3. Heat setpoint 4. Mode 5. Humidity It cannot query any other attributes since the API does not provide for it. i.e. query will not be able to figure out the current Fan state (is it on or off) or whether or not the thermostat is calling for Heat or Cool. I will check into the humidity issue as soon as we get the new thermostat. I checked the HTML query page and, at least on mine, the query is behaving normally. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi geekinc, Apologies for a tardy reply. I wanted to make sure ISY was still up and running and that it had an active IP address in the router. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hello bktong, Thanks so very much for the clarification. Heating/Cooling status is sent from the thermostat unsolicited. i.e. you cannot query it. when you say they are incorrect (not blank), do they reflect the previous status? or something quite random? The best test is to force your system to start cooling and make sure that ISY shows the status as cooling. Retry with heating, and ISY should show heating. Then try off and the status should be blank. If this is not happening, then there's surely a problem somewhere. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hello bktong, There is surely a problem with your installation since you should be able to get the status of the fan control node and mode without having to query the thermostat. If you have a V2 thermostat, please do be kind enough to remove it from ISY and make sure it's in the OFF mode before linking it back in. I did go through the code and ISY does indeed divide humidity by 2 (as it does the temperature and set points). This said, however, I have just ordered another humidity sensor to test just to make sure there are no bugs in ISY. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hello pgreen, Apologies for the inconvenience. I just tested the Admin Console and it does not allow for null values to be set. In any case, would you be kind enough to submit a ticket (http://www.universal-devices.com/contact.htm )? We'll try to log in remotely and see what's going on and help resolve it. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Dear dbroere, Thanks so very much for your feedback. Although I acknowledge the documentation is not where it should be but I do humbly request that you revisit the Wiki ( http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... e#Programs ) for it includes the basic and fundamental constructs for programming. The sheer number of different permutations of the things you can do with programs prevents us from having a programming by example section. That's where the forum comes in with real examples. And, finally, if you are stuck with some programming questions, we are always readily available to help. But, in all cases, you must understand the basic concepts (especially this section http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... tion_Order) With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hello dbroere, It seems that your router does not support UPnP. Please follow the instructions here for Non-UPnP routers: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... o_Your_ISY With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hello geekinc, Can you get to the HTML page? And, can you login to your router and see what IP your ISY currently has? With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi all, We are trying to figure out what's causing this error. The main problem is this: Thermostat values are always multiplied by 2 to allow for Celsius. Humidity is sometimes sent multiplied by 2 and sometimes not. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi mitch236, That error means two things: 1. Your SMTP server does NOT like the recipient (TO) 2. Increase the timeout in SMTP configuration dialog under Configuration/System tab With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hello geekinc, I understand. EZRain firmware update requires you to send it to SHN for an update to the firmware. Question: the program that you mentioned has not run, does ISY show the last run time? If so, is it correct? If it's correct in combination with the fact that you cannot change the timeout value for EZrain, points to INSTEON communication issues. The fact that you get XML parse errors and your program summary/detail tabs do not show, point to a faulty PLM. So, at the moment, I have to conclude there's something wrong with the PLM. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hello geekinc, Thanks so very much for the update. As far as EZRain, please note that we never officially supported this device. This said, however, during the past month and with tremendous help from LeeG, we have finally gotten rid of all the quirks in the communications with EZRain devices. We now have release 2.8.0 which is in pre alpha phase and if you are interested AND you have the latest EZRain firmware (which fixes some memory access issues) then please send an email to tech@universal-devices.com and we'll send you the link to download. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hello clyp, Apologies for the confusion. 404 means file not found. Do you know what URL is being used to communicate with ISY? With kind regards, Michel
