  1. Hi bpwwer, I am so very sorry to hear this. Please do not factory reset ... what we need to know is the status of the LEDs on top of ISY. Again, I am so very sorry ... With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hello All, With this release, we are also releasing WSDK 1.0. For more information, please visit: http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=1446 Thanks and with kind regards, Michel

  4. Release 2.6.6 beta is now available and may be downloaded immediately. WARNING: Release 2.6.6 contains a BUG, and therefore should only be used for WSDK support purposes! This release includes the final version of WSDK 1.0 . For fixes and enhancements, please peruse our beta forum at http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=930. You may also post your comments/questions and issues relating to 2.6.6 to the same forum. IMPORTANT 1. For those upgrading from release 2.6, please note that releases 2.6.1 and above will use default HTTP/HTTPS ports of 80/443 respectively. As such, before upgrading Disable Internet Access 2. If you have used bookmarks, please update them accordingly. If you have problems finding ISY, try http://www.universal-devices.com/99i 3. If you are upgrading from 2.6.1, please make sure you export all your programs and store them in a safe place 4. As always, please take a backup of your ISY Due to massive changes in this release, please do be kind enough to thoroughly test those functions most important to you specifically schedules, triggers, and Web Services. INSTRUCTIONS - Userid = isy - Password = autoupdate - For ISY-26, download the update from http://www.universal-devices.com/update ... nsteon.zip do not unzip - For ISY-99i Series, download the update from http://www.universal-devices.com/update ... nsteon.zip do not unzip - Login to Admin Console - Choose Help->Manually Upgrade My Lighting and choose the file you downloaded in the previous step - Choose Help->Manually Upgrade My Lighting and choose the file you downloaded in the previous step - Important: After upgrading, please close Admin Console, close all web browser processes, clear your Java cache, and reopen Admin Console. If there are any web browser processes running, the Java cache will not be cleared. LIMITATIONS - IES Touchscreens will not work with this release. Update is forthcoming - InterfaceGo will not work with this release. Update is forthcoming - WSDK requires many modifications to work with this release
  5. jswedberg, First and foremost, please DISABLE the port forwarding on port 80 immediately. This is a security risk as others can sniff your credentials. Please only use HTTPS (port 443) for remote access. File->Enable Internet Access attempts to do what you have already done (automatically). As such, you are all set; please do not worry about File->Enable Internet Access. With kind regards, Michel
  6. bdlhome, Thanks so very much for the feedback. It means a LOT. With kind regards, Michel
  7. d_l, Thanks so very much for your input and guidance. keribi, I am so very sorry for the trouble you are having. For ISY-26, the cable is not a null modem cable. It's a special cable ... you do not have it? If you can get to the Admin console, then it means that you are on the same subnet 255.255.255.0 but not on the same network ... so, the only way to fix this is through the com port and hyperterminal: Baud 115200 Stop bits 1 Parity None Databits 8 If you cannot find your cable, please do let us know and we'll send you one (support@universal-devices.com). With kind regards, Michel
  8. clark21236, Thanks so very much for the update. The reason is that most firewall software do not complain about normal ports such as 80/443. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello schenkl, You can use our JSDK and WSDK (web services) to write network applications that talk with ISY over the network. JSDK is pretty well established, is in Java and is released with each official release. WSDK is ISY services in WSDL, is brand new, and the first version of which shall be released in a couple of days. If you have specific questions vis-a-vis developing applications for ISY, please do be kind enough to visit our developers forum: http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewforum.php?f=2 . With kind regards, Michel
  10. keribi, This is quite strange! 1. Would you be kind enough to clear the Java cache on your laptop? 2. Would you please make sure you do not have ports 443 or 80 routed to any other device on your network With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hello Candide, As far as Managed By, it only means that they are both controllers for the same scene. But, they are not linked to one another (since they are controllers only). As far as the blinking, would you make sure that all the devices in your scene respond? It may well be possible that one (or more) of devices in your scene (button 3) are not responding and thus the blinking. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hello keribi, Can you access ISY through http://www.universal-devices.com/27? With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hello keribi, What version of ISY firmware are you running? With kind regards, Michel
  14. clark21236, Thanks so very much for the update. Is this now working on all your computers? Also, please note that this issue will also impact how you save programs. As such, please make sure you can save/update your programs. With kind regards, Michel
  15. alfatud, 99i is powered through the PLM. Is this the only reason that you would like to upgrade to 99i? With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hello MARosen, Yes, that's what I meant. The main issue is that you are running a client on you computer to track ip changes; what happens if your computer is off? You should surely look at/configure that section in you router since your router is always on and thus you will not depend on your computer. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hello clark21236, That's very strange! The http://www.universal-devices.com/27'>http://www.universal-devices.com/27 basically uses the applet from our website rather than the applet from ISY. Please do try your laptop but I am sure you are going to have more problems with your laptop because of NOD32. One more option is: when you clear your Java cache, please make sure ALL OTHER browser windows are closed (both IE/Firefox). With kind regards, Michel
  18. Thanks so very much Zellarman ... We have had many issues reported with SignaLincs ... I do not think you will have the same issues with APs. Have you tried replacing/upgrading your SLs with APs? With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hello Zellarman, Thanks so very much for the update. Are these SignaLincs or AccessPoints? With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi clark21236, This is sounding more and more like a firewall issue. Have you changed your firewall software since? What firewall software do you have? With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi clark21236, Please clear your Java cache and retry: http://www.universal-devices.com/27 With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hello Clarence, Thanks for letting us know; I sure will let you know ... With kind regards, Michel
  23. Michel Kohanim replied to aLf's topic in ISY994
Hi aLf, The reason that your ISY does not automatically come on line after you reboot your router is that you are running 2.6.0 ... this is solved in 2.6.1 and above. Of course, this does not solve the reason why your router goes off line ... time for a new router, perhaps? With kind regards, Michel
  24. jcthorne, Yes, the local address will change with the update from 1.0 to 2.6.1+ ... please make sure you clear your Java cache and try: http://www.universal-devices.com/27 (99i is for 1.0 release) For security reasons, you cannot get to ISY's home page without first logging in. With kind regards, Michel
