  1. I love the concept of the mini remotes, but I am so disappointed that they are not styled exactly like the switches and keypads.
  2. Wow, Micro Modules. I didn't expect to see those anytime soon. Of course, On/Off modules are not yet in stock, which is the one I need. At least I don't live in Canada. Sounds awful.
  3. I deleted (maybe naively) that program years ago on my system. Never missed it. Just sayin'.
  4. @JimboAutomates I'm a little confused with the README Manual instructions. The first part says to delete the NS on PG2 and install PG3 in the same slot. But then the instructions say to copy the configuration from PG2 to PG3. How can the configuration be copied from PG2 if the PG2 NS has been deleted? I would love a no-muss no-fuss way get my Hue Emulator from PG2 to PG3. I can't use the Backup and Restore method.
  5. I've always had to use the Add button and manually enter the URL. Might try that.
  6. I've been following this with interest. There are many references to deleting an individual PG2 Node Sever and I'm wondering what is the preferred method for doing this? There is a Delete function in both PG2 and in the AC. Which one do I use? Does it matter? Maybe they both function the same?
  7. Yup. I use one to turn on either my bedroom fan or fireplace, depending on the season, with the same button on my Harmony. So pressing the button on my Harmony actually turns on or off the Virtual switch. Then a program is triggered by the Virtual switch. The program determines whether to turn on the fan or fireplace. In this case, my off program just turns them both off. I know the Virtual switch Node Server really branched off into something involving temperature or whatever, but it started as just a binary switch, and that's all I've used it for. So, triggering a program is it's real use for me.
  8. The original iterations of Virtual used variables. However, this changed. A Virtual switch is no longer tied to a Variable. Just turn on/off the switch itself.
  9. @bpwwer Moving this from PG2 to PG3. What is the best course? Delete from PG2 and install in PG3 in same slot?
  10. I run Home Assistant on a Win10 VirtualBox VM. Pretty easy-peezy. No RPI needed.
  11. I have an Insteon Dimmer in my bathroom. It comes on when I turn off the TV in family room (if between certain evening times). It also only comes on to a very low dim level if turned on during the night.
  12. Hi @Michel Kohanim Yes, I did submit a ticket and logs. Ticket number 15662. This is the PG2 Sonos Node Server. I have also tried the PG3 Sonos Node Server, but it hangs on me too.
  13. I have WAY more issues with Node Servers hanging than the ISY/Polisy itself. In fact, I can't think of a single time ISY/Polisy has hung up. YMMV.
  14. Make sure you have Listen set to True in the ISY Admin Console.
  15. This is the "original" cable, fyi. https://smartenit.com/shop/plm-serial-cable/
  16. I have to restart my PG2 Sonos Node server every few days. @Michel Kohanimand others have looked at my logs and concluded it was a problem with my network. I dunno. I have several ways of controlling my Sonos system and the others all work perfectly.
  17. Yes, thanks. But that's not the one I'm looking for. This was awhile back. Around the time Polisy first started shipping.
  18. I've wasted too much of my afternoon trying to find this. There was a post (or thread) quite awhile ago about how to mount a Polisy in an SMC (Structured Media Cabinet). Someone posted a link to a bracket they used. The link went to the website of the actual manufacturer of the Polisy. Anyone have a clue how to find this again?
  19. Is there a way to initiate a NodeServer Restart from ISY? Either in a program or maybe network resources? For reasons unknown, my Sonos NodeServer just freezes after throwing a bunch of errors. A restart of the Sonos NodeServer fixes the problem for awhile. Michel and others have not been able to find a solution. So I set up a notification to send me an email whenever the Sonos NodeServer is not Online. Then it occurred to me, why not just automatically initiate a Restart from ISY? Is there a way to do this?
  20. True. This is limitation of Harmony Hub. The hub simply does not have a way to "see" button presses on your network. Sure you can. That's what the Hue Emulator NodeServer does. Jimbo stated this earlier. If you are referring to the non-Home Control buttons, there are two work arounds I can think of. One is to set up some kind of IR receiver connected somehow to ISY. The other way is the concept of a Roku Emulator. No one has written a NodeServer that is a Roku Emulator, so it will have to come from somewhere else, like Home Assistant for instance.
  21. When did we start calling Polyglot Cloud "PCG" instead of PGC?
  22. Can't help but wonder if these will ever be combined into one UI. It IS confusing.

Sorry to hear of your loss. It will be missed.
  24. @dbwarner5 Should be http://192.168.68.76:8080/desc Couple other comments from my experience. ISY Finder has NEVER found my ISY, 994 or Polisy. I have to use the Add button. Others have said the same. So Finder works for some and not for others. Also, when I first made the migration, I had to use the Add button every single time. Then after awhile that didn't work either. Then after a longer while, it all started to work again. I think it all started working again because I did the Upgrade process by pressing the button on the front of the Polisy. Could be worth a try.
