What about the "dimmer switch" node. Does that work correctly?

Admin Console is not compatible with installed Iox.
Techman replied to diesel94's topic in IoX Support
@diesel94 When you clear your java cache be sure to check all 3 boxes. This will also delete the IoX Launcher from your desktop You then need to install a new version of the IoX Launcher from the link above. No need to restore anything. Your firmware and UI should then be 5.9.1 -
Looks like Insteon has added a few new items to its inventory Home Automation Accessories | Insteon

The IoX backup has been refined, it now takes a second or two to completely backup up your entire system. It's a must do in case you ever need to restore a failed system. The backup includes all your devices, programs and configuration settings. Everything you need to restore or replace a system. If you have the UD Zwave/Matter dongle installed, then this requires a separate backup The topology report provides you with a useful overview of your devices and scenes. It also includes any notes you may have entered for a specific device. Polyglot (PG3) has its own backup, no caveats, just do it. The backup process is like fire insurance, hopefully you'll never need it, but if you do you'll be glad you have it.

Another audio option is the AUDIO PLAYER plugin along with a wireless bluetooth speaker. This would greatly expand your options. You could create custom mp3 audio files that could be played via the audio player

Is there a "weatherflow is offline or online" field?
Techman replied to dbwarner5's topic in WeatherFlow
If you have the Tempest then there's a node showing the Hub status. That may work for you I monitor my Tempest using remote rather than the local option -
The UD Zwave/Matter dongle supports Zwave, Zigbee and Matter. You need the dongle if you want Matter support. Being that Matter is just being implemented on the eisy and the polisy the matter devices supported is somewhat liimited., i.e. a work in progress. @BRMeeke What you have is an EISY not a ISY994i, thus the confusion Eisy:User Guide - Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki

Reset Username and Password to Defaults Use a sharp object to push and hold in the Reset Button till the RX, TX, Mem, Error lights start blinking (every second) Continue holding for another 5 seconds till the RX, TX, Mem, Error lights turn on/off consecutively (RX -> Tx -> Mem -> Error) Release Your password will then be set to admin/admin Note: If you hold the reset button in for at least 30 seconds then a factory reset will take place.

When you run update you should have UDX 3.7.2.3 and FreeBSD 14.1, your version willl display as 5.9.1 in the admin console You can view your current config status here: https://eisy.local:8443/WEB/sysconfig.txt

There's no specific command to power down the eisy. Post a screenshot of your IoX Launcher window Are you on a PC or a MAC? If you're still having issues then it's probably best to submit a support ticket.
-
Your MAC security setrtings are probably blocking access. Take a look at this article. Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki Also your eisy firmware is outdated. Cuirrent firmware is 5.9.1. IoX Release v5.9.1 Is Now Available! - Current Release Announcements - Universal Devices Forum

@oamber Clear your java cache, be sure to check all 3 boxes, then download the IoX Launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp Also take a look at this article Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki

Unplug the monitor and keyboard from the eisy. Removing power from both the PLM and the eisy, wait about 15 seconds then power up the PLM. Wait another 15 seconds then power up the eisy. If you can access the eisy from the admin console, try doing an update. After an update the java cache needs to be cleared and an updated IoX Launcher downloaded. Lastly, it's possible that it was in the process of updating to 5.9.1 when you first removed power and something got corrupted.
-
The Zwave backup wouldn't be used during the update as the eisy/polisy OS and UDX (user defined extension) are the only items updated. The backup(s) are your insurance policy.
-
Does your router have DHCP enabled? Did you follow the replace PLM procedure (see attached) when switching PLMs It's probably best to try to stay with 5.9.1 and resolve your issues. Don't use "Upgrade Bios" Have you cleared your java cache and downloaded the current version of of IoX Launcher from this link:? https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp Replace PLM Procedure (EISY or POLISY).pdf

@walkman9999 Take a look at these troubleshooting articles INSTEON: Troubleshooting Communications Errors - Universal Devices, Inc. If any of the values in your IF statement change within the 15 minute period then the program will restart. .

The eisy and polisy only supports zwave backup when using the ud zwave/matter dongle.
-
@dgwete Glad you're up and running. Are you able to view your config file. It shows the current UDX and the OS versions //eisy.local:8443/WEB/sysconfig.txt
-
The status of an Insteon battery operated device won't show up in the admin console until the state of the battery operated device changes.
-
@dgwete Check your connection between the eisy and your router. Try another ethernet cable if vyou have one. Is there any led activity on the eisy network socket?
-
@walkman9999 It appears that you have a lot of the older single band, powerline only, devices. If that's the case you could have noise on your powerline that's interferring with the Insteon signals
