Just did upgrade packages and no eisy-ui
I would think it's either the VPN or you're not on the same network as the eisy

Just did upgrade packages and no eisy-ui
@apostolakisl Can you access your eisy config file: eisy.local:8443/WEB/sysconfig.txt If so, what's your FeeBSD, UDX, and ISY versions?

Are you on Windows or a MAC Make sure you don't have a VPN that's enabled This is the window you should see when you enter "http://eisy.local" from your browser

EISY will not link to Insteon Keypad
"Cannot determine Insteon Engine" usually means that the PLM is unable to communicate with the device. Verify that the device address is correct, it's not uncommon to misread the 8 and the B If you're still having issues, then relocate the PLM to a different outlet. Note: the 6 button KPL is recognized as the 5 button KPL by the system, the on and off buttons are treated as one button..

locked out from the admin console after upgrade
Open your admin console and click on the add button. Create a new entry https:// (your eisy ip address):8443/desc Going forward you'll need to access the eisy using this entry. This is due to a recent change in the UI Using admin console - Can't connect/LIB_ERRORS-403 - eisy - Universal Devices Forum

ISY994 sporadically turns everything on
@Graham55 Take a look at this article https://wiki.universal-devices.com/INSTEON_Random_All_On_Events

Recent eisy migration from ISY994-Scenes messed up.
Everything looks normal. They may display differently in the eisy. Are your scenes working properly? The scenes may not update until you either turn them on or off I noticed you have pending writes on some of your devices. Right click on those devices and click on write updates Be sure to do an eisy backup
-
Device already added, how to identify?
If the switches that are installed don't appear in your device tree after you restored an ISY994 backup it's most likely due to the the fact that the backup wasn't current, and that the switches were installed after the backup was made.

eisy upgrade, what am I getting?
If you're happy with your Model T then there's no point in moving up to a Ferrari There's a new UI in development that doesn't require Java but will only work with the eisy. The ISY994, the Polisy and the EISY all use the same Java based UI via the IoX Launcher All devices must be removed from a folder for the replace command to work.

Which PLM is best?
@HTTRC You'll need to exactly follow the replace PLM procedure (see attached) Replace PLM (ISY994).pdf

You could try connecting via wi-fi, It's probably best to submit a support ticket https://www.universal-devices.com/my-tickets

The usual “arrrrrrrghh” when looking for firmware
You can find links to all the available firmware in the forum here: Current Release Announcements - Universal Devices Forum

Eisy Network Function Fail?
Can you bypass the switch and plug it directly into the router? Also try rebooting the router
-
The usual “arrrrrrrghh” when looking for firmware
@HTTRC UD lo longer offers support for the ISY994. There's no point in opening a support ticket. Here's the link and update instructions for the ISY994 5.3.4 firmware 5.3.4 (ISY994) - Last release for ISY994 - Current Release Announcements - Universal Devices Forum This will involve some user intervention. You'll need to check each program and scene for possible errors. Before any update always make an ISY backup

Eisy Network Function Fail?
If you have a VPN try turning it off. If you enter this address into your browser are you able to see the eisy config file? https://eisy.local:8443/WEB/sysconfig.txt

lox Finder
You should update java, current version is 1.8.0_451-b10 After java is updated clear your java cache, be sure to check all 3 boxes, then download the current version of the IoX Launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp Be sure to exactly follow the migration procedure: Eisy:User Guide - Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki Before migration run the "update packages" on the eisy. It could take up to 30 minutes for the update. You'll get a popup window with a notice to reboot when the update is complete Also, prior to the migration run backup on your ISY9984

How do you get help from UD tickets?
I think your issue is either with your router or a firewall Do you have another computer that you could try? Do you have a VPN, if so is it off? Are you able to access the eisy via the admin console using HTTP://(your eisy ip address):8443/DESC
-
How do you get help from UD tickets?
@srjacob If you have a VPN, turn it off In your web browser put in this address: https://eisy.local:8443/WEB/sysconfig.txt If it brings up the eisy config file then post it in the forum.

How do you get help from UD tickets?
Do you see the eisy's IP address in your router, if so then: In the Iox Launcher, click the add button, and enter https://(your eisy IP address)/desc Note: the router must support DHCP
-
How do you get help from UD tickets?
@srjacob Did you follow the migration instructions? Eisy:User Guide - Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki 1) The eisy doesn't support static IP addresses, however you can use a reserved address which will give you the same result. 2) You need to have the latest version of PG3x on your eisy. Do a upgrade packages on the eisy. The update may take time, up to 30 minutes. 3) After migration, some scenes and programs may need manual intervention 4) Did you clear your java cache, checking all 3 boxes, and download the latest version of IoX Launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp

What a night
@HTTRC When you open the IoX Launcher are you able to fully access your eisy? If you do a "restore Iox" from a backup file that was made with a previous PLM then after the restore you'll need to follow the "replace PLM procedure" I sent you earlier as the restore will contain links to your previous PLM.
