  1. @Chris Jahn After the switch to PST my eisy sunrise and sunset display times are also off by an hour. My firmware is 5.7.0_5
  2. @mmb The Multisensor is fully compatible with the Zmatter dongle. Something you can try, Right click on the device, then click on "Z-wave", "Rewrite all device links" You can also try putting the sensor into linking mode then query the device, which should then display the battery level.

    Make sure your remotelinc is fully charged. Put the remotelinc into the linking mode (hold down the set button until the led begins a slow flash) In the admin console, under "link management", click on "Link a Remotelinc 2" If you're still having trouble linking, then bring the remotelinc closer to your PLM.

  5. Your PLM isn't able to communicate with the device in Patti's room. If you have a long extension cord try plugging the PLM into a different outlet. Either you have some noise on your powerline or some other issue that's interfering with the Insteon signal.   6. For the bedroom switch, put the event viewer into level 3, then do a restore device. Post the event log results. The green icon means that there are links that need to be written to the device. The red ! means that the PLM can't communicate with the device.
  7. Is the issue you're having with just the one switch, or multiple devices?
  8. "Cannot determine Insteon Engine" means that the PLM is unable to communicate with the device. The error could be due to an error in the address you've entered or a PLM issue, usually caused by noise on the powerline. Take a look at the device address as it's easy to confuse B and 8 You might also try removing power from the PLM and the eisy, then power up the PLM wait about 15 seconds then power up the eisy. Also make sure that the firmware on the eisy is up to date.
  9. Have you tried right clicking on a device then doing a restore device? If that doesn't work then it's possible that the ISY link tables are damaged or that the SD card is failing
  10. If you create a Topology report [ TOOLS, GERERATE TOPOLOGY] it will generate a list of all your installed devices.
  11. If you have on 56 links in your PLM, then the restore PLM procedure didn't fully complete. Did you follow the instructions in the attached file. Replace Modem.pdf
  12. If you named your devices ZW xxxx prior to migration, then when you migrate the device name will not change. When in the device's status window, the device ID should show ZY under the device name.
  13. I'm not aware of obtaining an earlier version of the launcher. The current version contains updates and bug fixes. Can you update your MAC to the current operating system version? Some of the older MACs can't be updated past 10.15.XX, in which case it may be time to replace your MAC. The following can be updated past 10.15.XX MacBook Pro: Early 2015 and later. MacBook Air: Early 2015 and later. MacBook: Early 2016 and later. iMac Pro: 2017 and later. iMac: Late 2015 and later. Mac Pro: Late 2013 and later. Mac Mini: Late 2014 and later.
  14. Your firmware and UI must be the same version. You need to clear your java cache, be sure to check all 3 boxes, and then download the IoX Launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp Once you install the launcher your UI and firmware will match, and you should then be able to change / edit your data.
  15. Be sure to follow the "Replace modem " procedure, attached. Let the forum know the results once you get your new PLM. Replace Modem.pdf
  16. That probably narrows it down to either the USB cable or the PLM.
  17. A few things to try: Plug the USB cable into a different port on the eisy. Try a different USB cable. Is the PLM plugged directly into an outlet and not a UPS or power strip? It's remotely possible that the PLM or eisy got damaged due to a powerline spike. Is the eisy plugged directly into an outlet?
  18. The set button shouldn't do anything when it's pressed while the PLM is powered. If you remove the PLM from power, then hold down the set button while you plug the PLM back in, and continue to hold it down, the PLM will beep and do a factory reset. You need to keep the button pressed until the beeping stops. At this point I wouldn't recommend factory resetting the PLM. In the admin console, If you click on TOOLS, DIAGNOSTICS, PLM INFO STATUS, what does it show?

  22. Did you expand the main tree (eisy) before you attempted to drag the item?
  23. @OffToSeeTheWizard On one of the devices that's not updating, do a restore device. Did that correct the issue for that device?
  24. @PGannon How is your PLM interfaced with the EISY, i.e. the UD cable kit or ? On one of the problem devices, run a diagnostic, show device link tables, then click on compare. Does it show any mismatched links?
  25. The two entries inthe IoX Launcher s now normal since the update to 5.7.0_5 Some people are seeing the "not found" message. For now you can ignore it. Take a look at this thread IoX Finder - Error Not Found warning - IoX Support - Universal Devices Forum (universal-devices.com)
