  1. To resolve the EISY PGx login issue, either press the button on the front of the EISY once and wait about 5 minutes while the EISY updates. If that doesn't work, then remove power from the EISY and then power it back up.
  2. You would need something like this. https://www.amazon.com/Aeotec-AEZW150-Bypass-Z-Wave-Dimmer/dp/B017BK1MIA The led bulbs are controlled by a built-in electronic circuit which does not allow enough voltage to pass to the 2474DWH switch, which has a triac dimmer, for it to properly work.
  3. @bpwwer @DennisC In addition to the 401 error I was getting, lately every time I accessed the EISY in the AC I would get a popup that there were updates available and to press update packages, which I did, but the message would keep reappearing each time I opened the AC. I finally got both problems resolved by pressing the button on the front of the EISY once.
  4. Here's the error message I get when I try to access PGx prior to removing power. An EISY reboot doesn't resolve the error. Any suggestions?
  5. Almost every time I update packages on the EISY I'm then unable to access PGx. The only way I've found to resolve this is to remove power from the EISY.
  6. What device is the screenshot from? Are on a ISY994, Polisy or EISY What are your firmware and UI versions?
  7. I add a similar issue with the Multisensor 6. Interview didn't resolve it. I finally got it resolved by removing the device from the eisy and re-adding it.
  8. @ShawnW I just ran some more tests on the Smart Switch 7 Switch 7. By changing Param 21 (Watt report Threshold) to 10, the switch reported the on/off load change within 2 to 3 seconds. So it will most likely work for your application.
  9. @SHM What is the address of the switch you're trying to add? Is it a new dual band switch that you're trying to add? Do you have other dual band devices in your system? Are the 2 legs of your powerline bridged using dual band devices?
  10. The error message you're getting indicates that the PLM is unable to communicate with the switch. What is the 6-digit address of the switch you're trying to add as sometimes the address can be misread. If the address is correct then I would focus on possible noise on the powerline, Have you recently added any new electronics or devices that might be causing interference?
  11. It might be your PLM or it could be a communication issue between the PLM and your device(s) Here's some communication troubleshooting tips: INSTEON Signal / Noise Troubleshooting - Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki (universal-devices.com)
  12. @j.rieff Here's the link to release announcements. Current Release Announcements - Universal Devices Forum (universal-devices.com) After an update you'll now get a popup window asking you to clear your Java cache
  13. The ISY should work without Internet as long as you have a working LAN and don't use the cloud. You'll need to access the ISY from the IoX launcher using the Admin Console option.
  14. Make a current backup of the ISY, you'll need this if you have to replace your PLM. It's possible that the power supply in the PLM is failing, the older PLMs have a habit of failing after a few years. 10 years on the same PLM is unusual. Insteon is supposed to have new PLMs in stock this month. There are also PLM repair options, from Insteon, and a vendor on ebay. F.Y.I., the ISY has been discontinued and replaced with the EISY. Support for the ISY will no longer be available from UD in a few months.
  15. Clear your Java cache files, be sure to check all 3 boxes, then download the IoX launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp You should now have the eisy showing in the launcher
  16. It's possible that your PLM has failed. Unplug it for about 5 minutes, Remove power from the ISY. Power up the PLM, wait about 15 seconds, and then power up the ISY. When you power up the ISY do you get flashing leds on the front panel?
  17. Remove power from your eisy, wait about a minute then power it back up.
  18. @cwhite951 In the admin console, click on TOOLS | DIAGNOSTICS | PLM STATUS, does it show the PLM as connected? Then click on SYSTEM STATUS, and post a screen shot of the status window. It's possible that your SD card has failed and may need to be replaced. The DNS failure might be due to a network issue between the ISY and your router. Check your ethernet cable. Don't try resetting your PLM as it might further complicate your troubleshooting.
  19. Can you access your ISY via the admin console? Have you tried removing power from the ISY to reboot it? Is the green power light on your PLM on?
  20. It's possible that the PLM cable failed. Are you using the cable that shipped with the PLM?
  21. Try removing power from the eisy for a few minutes. If that doesn't work then it's possible that the cable might be defective.
  22. Is the "Insteon Support" box checked on your eisy configuration tab?
  23. I only have the Zcombo. You should probably open or update your support ticket.
  24. Which smoke detectors are you having an issue with? When I upgraded to 3.1.23 the Zcombo smoke detectors continued to display their status.
  25. @JTsao If, after upgrading your packages, you're unable to access PG3, remove power from your eisy/polisy, then power it back up. This was a known issue which was supposed to fixed in the latest firmware update, but I noticed that it appears to still be an issue.
