  1. @stevesreed take a look at this thread:
  2. Assuming that you haven't installed any programs or Insteon devices I would do a factory reset on the eisy, by pushing the button 10 times. After the eisy boots up, click on update packages, then you'll also need to clear your java cache, including applications and applets and then download the IoX launcher. Prior to linking the Zwave devices click on the Migrate button and select the bottom option Being that you only have two devices, it's best to factory reset them, and factory reset the Zmatter board then reinstall them.
  3. I'm assuming that all your devices are Insteon. If that's the case then, if starting from scratch, you would do a factory reset on the PLM and all your Insteon devices and then link them using the new controller firmware and hardware. Assuming that the 2413S you bought is in working condition you could use that with the eisy. Here's what you would need: the eisy and the cable kit, both available from the UD Store: eisy | home - Universal Devices (universal-devices.com) Serial PLM Kit - Universal Devices (universal-devices.com) How many devices do you have. Are they all A/C powered, or do you also have battery operated devices? I not sure if you can access your 99i using the available access methods, maybe some of the other forum members might know.
  4. @NFLnut Make sure your firmware is updated to the current version, the try a factory reset on the MS6. My past experiences with the MS6 is that they always start off with Celsius then after a couple of hours convert to Fahrenheit. I
  5. Unfortunately, your hardware and firmware are outdated and long since discontinued. The ISY994 has also been discontinued but will still be supported for several more months. The current hardware is the eisy. At this point in time it would be best to start over from scratch. The ISY supports the 2413S, and the eisy supports the 2413U and 2413S, both are out of stock but should be available in March. Not sure if the current admin console supports the older 99i. Try clearing your java cache, including installed applications and applets then download the Iox Launcher: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp start.jnlp
  6. @photogeek54 Try removing power from the eisy, it's possible the zmatter board is hung up.
  7. There have been two updates since 5.4.5: 5.5.0 and 5.5.4. IoX Release v5.5.4 Is Now Available - Current Release Announcements - Universal Devices Forum (universal-devices.com) Not sure what effect the update(s) will have on your scenes.
  8. Do you have a Polisy or an eisy? The latest firmware for the above is 5.5.4 which contains bug fixes
  9. What are your ISY firmware and UI versions? What is the module that you wanted replaced, what is the module you replaced it with?
  10. Aeotec just informed me that they will be raising prices in about 2 weeks, and that their current inventory is somewhat limited. So, if you're thinking of buying now is the time.
  11. I didn't look at the link tables after adding it, but it appeared to work as it should. I have since removed it and put it back in storage so I'm unable to run any more tests.
  12. @Chris Jahn "Install Dev. Packages" tab, how and when would it be used?
  13. @DennisC Here are the ISY to EISY migration instructions from the UDI Wiki Eisy:User Guide - Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki (universal-devices.com)
  14. Under the Z-wave menu click on BACKUP. The instructions probably need to be updated, they may be from the 300 series dongle.
  15. @Illusion Just pulled my spare SynchroLinc out of storage. I was able to link to the ISY994, running 5.3.4 firmware, without a problem. 2423A5 V1.15 Date code: 1129 Have you tried adding a dual band plug in module in the same socket as your SynchroLinc. That would help in the event you have noise on your power line. If you have Z-wave, the Aeotec Smartswitch 7 is a good replacement option for the SynchrLinc.
  16. You need to first update your ISY to the latest firmware, 5.3.4. Once you restore the backup up on the eisy power cycle the eisy. Prior to restoring the backup on your eisy you need to verify all your programs and scenes as the update from 4.9.0 to 5.3.4 requires some user intervention. Be sure to first read the firmware release notes.
  17. F.Y.I. Every time Java does an update it deletes the memory parameter, which then needs to be reentered.
  18. I'll try to get to my box of "stuff" in the next few days. With the one I have installed I had to add a dual band plug in module close to it in order for it to work. If you have an extra plug-in module laying around, you might try plugging it into the same socket at the Synchrolinc you're trying to install.
  19. What gets installed if you click on the "Install Dev. Packages" button in the System tab?
  20. Current firmware for Polisy is 5.5.4 Try removing power from the Polisy, then clear your java cache, including installed applications, then download the IoX Launcher.
  21. @NFLnut My Multisensor 6 is showing Fahrenheit with eisy running 5.5.4. Try removing power from the MS6. After it powers up it could take a while before it changes from Centigrade to Fahrenheit, so give it a couple of hours. All my Multisensor 6 which I have on the ISY994 started out reporting in Centigrade then after a couple of hours changed to Fahrenheit. It's possible that it needs location information from the Hub.
  22. Try clearing your Java cache, including installed applications, then download the IoX Launcher Do you see the Polisy in the IoX Launcher
  23. The Polisy supports the following PLMs: 2412S and 2413S through the DB9 connector on the back. 2413U and 2448A7 through the USB port on the back
  24. My eisy updated to 3.1.20 without issues. My Polisy is at 3.1.16 and won't update. I tried removing power, and did an Iox reboot, but it still won't update.
  25. Take a look at the Polisy user guide, it contains the migration instructions: Polisy:User Guide - Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki (universal-devices.com)
