  1. If you're still having issues you may want to update your ISY to the latest firmware 5.3.4 and then clear your Java cache and applications and download the ISY finder again. The update from 5.2.0 to 5.3.4 is painless.
  2. The daughter board sits on top of the main board Here's a video someone posted on repairing the PLM https://www.rototron.info/insteon-plm-repair-tutorial/
  3. When you open the ISY launcher what firmware version displays for the ISY?
  4. This Is this the link you should use after you deleted your java files and applications. What version of the ISY firmware are you running? https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp
  5. You can only have one device in the linking mode at any one time. Make sure all devices are not in the linking mode then try to link one device.
  6. Take a look at this How to set JAVA_HOME in Windows 10 | Java Tutorial Network
  7. It's possible that Java didn't get installed in the default folder. If that's the case, uninstall and reinstall it. The default location for Windows 10 is :C:\:ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Java
  8. What device can't the ISY communicate with? In the admin console under files, turn off the write updates to battery devices and see if the error message goes away. Do you have any red exclamation points showing on your device tree?
  9. Trying clearing your java cache including all applications which will delete the finder from your desktop then download the ISY finder again. Reboot your computer before you download the finder,
  10. try disabling the switch by pulling out the set button then. take a look at any programs that include the switch as they may have been modified when you upgraded your firmware causing the program to enter a loop. Also make sure that your firmware and UI are the same version.
  11. Make sure your ISY firmware and UI are the same version If not, clear your Java cache, including all applications, down load the correct UI version for your ISY firmware

If you run the topography report you can then sort its address column making it easy to find the problem device. Especially helpful if you have a lot of devices.

Do a backup of your ISY so you'll have the correct link tables in the event you have to do a restore
  14. Javi and jwagner010 Just tried the Fade/Stop with the ZRTSI and the shade stops at the MY position. Many thanks for the input
  15. I use variables to let my programs know if the shades are open or closed. If one were to use fade stop does the somfy motor status in the ISY show as open or closed?
  16. Were you using the ZRTSI or the URTSI? The ZRTSI communication with the Somfy motors is not bi-directional so the ISY and ZRTSI have no way of knowing the status or position of the shades.
  17. Techman replied to slimypizza's topic in ISY994
If you turn on any of the other affected switches do all the lights turn on or is it only when you turn on the den switch. If it's only the den switch then I would factory reset that switch and see if that corrects the problem. Also reboot the ISY
  18. I'm using the ZRTSI so the 50% option isn't an option as the ZRTSI won't recognize it.
  19. How are you interfacing the URTSI II with the ISY as it only has inputs for RS232 and IR.
  20. Techman replied to slimypizza's topic in ISY994
Your devices somehow became crosslinked. This can happen if several devices are in the linking mode at the same time.
  21. The ZRTSI is a Zwave to RTS bridge. Being that the only way to control the shades from the ISY is Zwave using the ZRTSI a scene won't make a difference as the only two node options are on or off. It's possible that the Polisy with Wi-Fi may be a work around as the Somfy Mylink is a Wi-Fi to RTS bridge.
  22. Another option is to run the Topology report. Tools | Generate Topology. The report will give you a list of all your devices along with their address and info on all your scenes. You're able to sort the columns in the report which can be quite helpful.
  23. The ZRTSI and ISY only allows either open or closed and doesn't recognize "MY". Unfortunately there's no work around. As far as the ISY is concerned, either the Binary Switch Controller or the Class A Motor Ctr will operate the motors.
  24. Is your UI also 5.3.4, if not you need to update it, in that case be sure to clear your java cache including all applications before downloading the new (5.3.4) Admin Launcher Are the Zwave devices that won't restore battery or A/C powered?
  25. The link below will give you answers to most of your questions. When you update your password will go back to the default and your email configuration will revert to the default. It's best to export a copy of your programs as some will have to be modified. The latest version of the firmware is Zwave certified. It also contains bug fixes and enhancements.
