  1. AWS Stauts report 2:04 PM PST We have executed a mitigation which is showing significant recovery in the US-EAST-1 Region. We are continuing to closely monitor the health of the network devices and we expect to continue to make progress towards full recovery. We still do not have an ETA for full recovery at this time.
  2. Techman posted a topic in Polisy
Will the Polisy, using the Zooz Z-Wave stick, support over the air updates to Z-wave devices that support that feature?
  3. The AWS servers are now SLOWLY starting to come back online. Some sites are still a bit sluggish or intermittent, including the site that hosts the Node servers
  4. Amazon and some other services including Prime Video and Alexa have been hit by computer problems. Thousands of users across the world have been reporting problems on the outage tracking website Downdetector. The Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud computing arm, which provides services to governments, companies and universities, is also affected. Amazon said it had identified the cause and was "actively working towards recovery", but gave no timescale. The company added that not all regions of the world had experienced problems. There are reports the biggest disruption for customers is being seen on the US east coast. On the Amazon shopping website, many users reported just a slow loading of pages rather than an inability to use the service.
  5. Being that's it's device specific I would assume that if a device has marginal communications between it and the PLM increasing the PLM retires might improve reliability. On the other hand increasing retries will create additional traffic on the mesh network.
  6. Your device will either send a low battery signal or a battery level signal to the ISY. I'm not familiar with the leak sensor you're using so I'm not sure what signal it sends. You need to take a look in the ISY at the nodes the device installs. If there's a low battery node then you'll need to set the parameter in the leak sensor to the percentage value sent to trigger the ISY low battery node. In the ISY you would then write a program that notifies you when the low battery node status is on. If the device sends the actual battery percentage, then you would use the program I suggested in my previous post.
  7. In the admin console status window for some devices it should display the battery percentage node. You would then use that battery node in your program IF (Device name) Battery level is <90% Then Send message
  8. I have these, works well with the Polisy. https://www.amazon.com/USB-Male-Female-Extension-Adapter/dp/B07QYS3FD8/ref=sr_1_3?crid=2RTDD1D9GGK3V&keywords=posdou%2Busb%2B3.0%2Bmale%2Bto%2Bfemale%2B90%2Bdegree%2Bright%2Bangle%2Bextension%2Badapter&qid=1638384205&sprefix=posdou%2Busb%2B3.0%2Bmale%2Bto%2Bfemale%2B90%2Bdegree%2Bright%2Bangle%2Bextension%2Badapter%2Caps%2C207&sr=8-3&th=1
  9. It's difficult to have a Sale when you have nothing to sell
  10. The file is corrupt Telnet to your ISY Login At the prompt, type the following followed by the Return button RF /CONF/NODES/UN0472.BIN
  11. F.Y.I. - The Aeotec Range Extender 7 repeats and amplifies the Zwave signals. It has an indoor range of over 200 feet and an outdoor range of close to 500 feet. It uses the latest series 700 chip. It appears to be currently unavailable due to either shipping or chip shortages. When available Amazon carries them.
  12. If your previous PLM was plugged into the same outlet as the USB PLM then you shouldn't really notice any difference between the two assuming nothing else has changed on your electrical circuits. Another option is to take the RS232 board (i.e. the daughter board) out of your Old PLM and install it in the USB PLM and then continue to use the ISY994. The Polisy is still in the development stage, not sure if that would have any effect on your issue.
  13. All plug in Zwave devices act as repeaters. If you're using the 300 series Zwave dongle you might want to upgrade to the 500 series which has greater range and other improvements
  14. How does one create the report, I can't find the option
  15. Both Zwave and ISY to Polisy migration are in the development stages and not yet available to the end user
  16. You never answered my question as to the UI version your running. In the admin console click on help | about and let me know what it shows. Having the incorrect UI will cause unpredictable problems. You may want to take a look at the Aeotec Zwave devices. They've been tested with the ISY994 and the manufacturer issues firmware updates in the event of a bug.
  17. Did you read my last post? Doing what I suggested could most likely resolve you problems
  18. What is the current version of your UI (the ISY launcher)? UD refers to the Zwave card as a dongle You have the 500 series Zwave dongle. You should update your ISY firmware and UI to the latest version 5.3.4. This version of the firmware fully supports your current zwave dongle and you may see improved Zwave functions
  19. What version of the Zwave dongle do you have, the 300 or 500 series? What are the firmware versions of your ISY and UI?
  20. No. Both devices act as a Repeater. You should try to get a Zwave 700 series device so it won't become obsolete in the future. Aeotec makes both a 700 series plug and repeater.
  21. The ISY Zwave dongle does not support an external antenna. It's best to use a Zwave repeater placed outside of the cabinet. Take a look at the Aeotec repeater.
  22. The firmware upgrade from 4.x.x to 5.3.4 is significant and requires user intervention. You'll need to check and verify all your programs and scenes.
  23. Thanks for the heads up, just found the cable hidden in the sleeve.
  24. No cables included with the PLM here, maybe it was a Canadian bonus.
