The isy doesn't receive power from the plm unless you're using the 2412s. Looks like you didn't follow proper procedures early on which made it such a mess. Because you issued the plm disconnect, you erased the plm links from the bulb as well which contributed to your issues. You just needed to update your isy with the zwave only firmware prior to disconnecting your plm. Had that been done, your issues would've been avoided.

Mine came from different generations but since it's been years, I couldn't say exactly what the revs were.

A device can only be part of 1 controller so if you move then that's it. You would need to re-add it to your new controller at that point since the keys between devices and controller would be broken. This is why you have to exclude and then include a device that was previously used on another controller.

I don't think it's going to change. This isn't a bug but a choice UDI made. The only thing that will be fixed will be migration..

What's the UI of your isy? What setting are you changing and what device are you having issues with

What brand bulbs? The 2477s is really based so I'd be surprised if it's that but it very well could be. I would try a completely different brand to see if it happens. If it does, swap out the switch

I always thought UD products were made for residential use first and professionals secondary. From my experience, there's a huge difference between pro only commercial setups and residential stuff. From a business standpoint, I can see why UD went this route. Going off the multitude of posts that has been on here due to ssh mistakes with polisy (and static ip's); I can only imagine the multitude of support calls they received. Those calls costs them time and money. While it may be a simple factory reset for you, for them it's not. One only needs to look at the forum posts to see that. A pro version is a great idea. Same system and software in actual use but a person can pay extra to unlock the ability to manage everything themselves. This way, if the customer screws it up, then it's on them and they can only blame themselves.

What problems are you having? The wiki covers scenes. Did you recently upgrade your isy? What's your firmware AND UI?

Insteon being in our out of business shouldn't have anything to do with the syncrolincs. I know they used to work flawlessly with the isy (I used to have them). Either there's a bug preventing them from working, some type of interference (they're powerline only), or whoever sold them sold you bad product.

Did you clear your java cache? Also you have to hit the tab when you change a setting. ie: change ramp rate>click ramp rate button

Most of the issues you're seeing are from migrations. A completely clean install should be ok. I set one of my polisys up from scratch and imported the other to see the difference. I felt a new install was easier since I had some gotcha moments with importing. Zwave may be an issue but would most likely come down to what devices your have, your particular setup, knowledge and skill. Since you're not used to the elk Node Server, that may also be an issue. Since you say you don't have the time, that should be your own clue not to attempt things. Regardless of ease of use, you can still have gotchas. It's best to wait until you can focus on setting things up without sharing over it

How will UDI's kit not work when it's designed specifically for the 2413s

The release notes in the first post contains this information. Michel also stated theyre working on migration with no eta due to a bug.

Are you sure that the isy sets the time on the thermostat and thats not a local feature? If it does, there should be a way to set it on the thermostat since the ISY time wouldnt automatically do so

I haven't checked in a few days but last time I read the eisy wiki, it had the instructions on how to factory reset the EISY.

You can factory reset the board. You'd have to remove and then re-add the devices once done.

See post above. If you want to remove the board, simply unplug your isy, take the bottom screws out (including one behind the sticker), open it up, pull board out, closer it up, and plug isy back in. With the 994 being discontinued, you'll have to try and find a board on eBay. Putting the new one in the same as taking the old one out. If you Google how to replace isy zwave board, you'll find instructions on how to do it
