Citation needed? If you're asking for proof, you'll see in time

Lutron is standardizing their devices so all will carry the sunnata look. Caseta should be out within the next year. Not sure how that will effect the current Node server
-
Due to lutron's requirements I doubt this will happen unless reversed engineered. Since UDI wants to go the official for with it, they'll have to support it.
-
According to the readme linked above, you should choose discover to discover new devices
-
That's the only benefit. Zwave is still the lesser protocol for lighting control

Has anyone tried to use an 8-panel 2334 as all switches (and not dimmers)

That's the old single band version. The dual band version is only a 6 button -
Has anyone tried to use an 8-panel 2334 as all switches (and not dimmers)

Just need the kit -

No. You need a relay. There's still clipping at 0.1s. -
Multiway setups require 1 scene with both devices added to the scene and configured. You'll click on both devices and set the configuration on each. Once done, you'll click on the scene bebe and do the same there. If control is 1 way, you'll add the controlling device as a controller and the other as a responder and then configure the controller and scene like above. I don't use ha but i assume you'd control the scene and not the individual devices (assuming you're using the ha Node server). What to consider depends on your setup and how you plan on operating your home. I do suggest reading the Isy cookbook and ISY wiki along with the polisy forums before getting started. If you Google both, they'll show up in the search

Keep in mind, clear links is not the same as a factory reset. You can end up with undesirable things happening if you do not factory reset when coming from another controller. -
The best thermostats unfortunately are all cloud. Not many companies make zwave thermostats so you're limited in your options. I think go control and 2gig are your only other options. With that said, I have an original ecobee 3 from 2014 installed at my Mom's house which still connects to their servers and works flawlessly. That sort of history makes me trust them to continue using them in any future home for personal or professional use.

Does your UI match? I'd upgrade to the latest 5.3.4 to ensure any bug fixes are in place
-
It would help if you said what you were using along with firmware and UI since that can play a part in things
-
Don't you already have a post open for this answered? If their own app doesn't support it then i doubt it exists in the api for the developer to add it. Most likely it's turning off using hdmi-CEC .

node servers show Unmanaged

Can't help you through vpn since i don't use mine through one. You could make sure you have the correct port attached for V2 -
node servers show Unmanaged
lilyoyo1 replied to lalang's topic in New user? Having trouble? Start here
Since you're using polisy and PG3, your old node servers from pg2 would show unmanaged since that's a different setup. You would log into PG2 and delete those node servers from there -

Program lock disables the set button on the device preventing someone from linking or changing settings manually -
Not anymore. So many have been on there, the prices are back to being reasonable
-
No batteries are in the controllers. Make sure you're on the latest firmware for your unit and that the firmware and UI matches

Harmony is not a bad Idea outside what it would cost. The Node server is local as well as your control. Unless you plan on making frequent changes, the remote and its ability to control your system can potentially last for years even after shutdown. The servers managing all codes are still being updated so you can still add new devices and for the most part, the large tv mfg. do not change the codes. For example, my oldest LG oled tv is a B6 from 2016. That remote still works with my latest LG G1 and vice versa

What support are you looking for on a forum? Most people generally post on forums when they have a problem. Due to the nature of the title, most would've read it and moved on (unless they needed the info). If you're looking for a response to your posts, you should've started your own thread vs piggybacking off someone else's only for it to get lost in the mix with other on going posts. By starting your own thread, you increase the chance of others seeing it and responding. . While UDI may chime in here from time to time, this is a mainly a peer driven forum. Members choose to respond to forum posts but are under no obligation to do so either. If a person is looking for developer support, they should properly tag that developer (by adding @ and start typing the name and then choosing it when it pops up) vs a member who may or may not check on often. Ditto for UDI support or better, submit a ticket. As you can clearly see, these forums are quite active with members willing to take time out of their day and families to help others in need. The tepid response is more about members improperly piggybacking on a post vs taking the time to start a new one to get their questions answered.... especially when it comes down to technical support. In regards to the information you seek, yes, polisy is running the isy software and has been since last year some time. There's a sub-forum (IOP) for it which can be found on the main page under the Polisy header. The first 2 posts under the original V2 Node server answers the rest of your posts. Since the V3 version is new and most members would've come from V2, you'll see a lot more information there than you will here for the time being
