ISY Disconnected
@PapaBear what are the lights on the front of the ISY994 looking like? https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Front_Panel_LEDs/Lights It's possible that you power cycled your ISY994 before the Comcast gateway was completely back online and the ISY994 might not have valid IP. You should be able to power cycle the ISY994 again and it should reconnect. Monitor the front lights when you power it on. If you're using a PLM make sure the PLM is plugged in first and has a solid green light before plugging in the ISY994. Other possibility is if you had Static IP set on the ISY994 then it could be blocked by another device that took that IP address when the Gateway came back online. This is why it's suggested just to handle DHCP reservation for the unit at the Gateway/Router level rather than assigning it at the device level.

Can't remove PLM; ISY boots into safe mode on next reboot after deleting and disconnecting PLM
That only applies to ISY on Polisy and eisy. Since @Ted referenced being on v 5.3.4 that an ISY994 firmware. Those specifically had Insteon or "Non-PLM" based firmware that always had 2 links. For 5.3.4 it's the second link in step 3: 3. Download firmware - ISY 994i Series including Z-Wave support - ISY 994i ZW, Z, or ZS Series (Z-Wave/Zigbee and/or if you do NOT have a PLM)

Can't remove PLM; ISY boots into safe mode on next reboot after deleting and disconnecting PLM
@Ted You're probably using a firmware on the ISY (994?) that is looking for the PLM. If you're not using a PLM you need to get a version that is noted for "Not having a PLM". What firmware are you using? Look in the current release area for your release and there should be a link for the z-wave/non-PLM version. Once you install that Firmware the ISY994 will not look for a PLM and will boot normally.

Where to find documentation on eisy System Settings
Some documentation is in the wiki eisy user guide found here: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Eisy:User_Guide#Can't_Find_eisy These specific buttons have not been addressed yet and are from the Polisy side so not sure if/how they apply to eisy at this time. I’m sure UD will update and provide more info as they are worked out. I’d say don’t push random buttons if you don’t know what they’ll do and if current processes don’t specifically suggest pressing those buttons.

eisy can't access Admin console
@SLiss and @EWhite have either of you tried this (from the Wiki)? https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Eisy:User_Guide#Can't_Find_eisy You might need to add manually. If you’re pinging the device (or connecting via SSH) then you know the IP Address…..follow the process to add using the known IP.

Support thread for: IoX v.5.5.0
@dbwarner5 mine didn't appear to be in a loop either. I never tried to figure out what was running. I just knew it wasn't doing anything and went with the second part that Michel posted and it processed the update just fine. I don't mean that you would have a choice to skip something. That process of updating should bring you all the way up to the "current version" as of this moment in time. Meaning it wouldn't update to 5.5.0 then you'd have to update again to 5.5.2. You should be able to run the command and once it updates and reboots you should be at 5.5.2. Oh, and after running the updates I think I ran a shutdown command in SSH. I then went back and ran another "Update Packages" just to be sure it was cleaned up. I think others commented about doing that too.

Support thread for: IoX v.5.5.0
I don't think so. There were some errors a couple of weeks ago trying to go from 5.4.5 to just 5.5.0. I thought they were sorted out, but maybe not. Check this solution offered by @Michel Kohanim. Step #2 resolved for my update problem at the time. Going from 5.5.0 to 5.5.2 seemed to work just fine. You might skip 5.5.0 if updating at this point. I forget which update got me a little worried as I had a solid left light and blinking 2nd and 3rd lights, but after a while everything finished and was working fine on the Polisy.

Can't get UDI icon after running "start"
@br928s4 Did you happen to have ISY Launcher installed on the computer previously? You may need to clear java cache even though you say it's a fresh download of Java. I ran into this issue ages ago after a simple Java update the icon went away and never added when running start.jnlp. Clear java cache (make sure all three boxes are checked). Then try running start.jnlp again. That should add the UD IoX Launcher icon (ISY Launcher has been renamed IoX Launcher).

Unable to restore my devices from the 994
IoX Finder = ISY Finder They are the same. UD changed the name a little while back getting ready for the eisy release, but they act the same.

I think my 994ZW+ is dying?
That's okay. Moved it to the proper place. First and foremost - make sure your User Interface (UI) and Firmware match when you do log into Admin Console. That can bungle up some GUI issues. UI/FW must match exactly (including date/time code). Did you get a power supply that was proper voltage output? from the wiki: "You can try any power supply that outputs anywhere between 5 volt and 30 volts, center positive, 2mm barrel connector" (But I'm sure you checked that from your previous thread) What you're experiencing now seems to indicate some issues with antivirus software. Are you running any 3rd party anti-virus or firewall programs? You need to turn those off, clear java cache (be sure to select all three boxes in this process), then run fresh download/install of IoX Launcher (previously ISY Launcher, aka start.jnlp) that you download directly from UD site or UD Wiki. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Installing_the_Admin_Console_Icon_on_Your_Desktop Java Cache options:

First X-10, Now Insteon Not Working
True, they're not available these days, but there are repair service options. One by the new Insteon and one by a fellow forum member through ebay - https://www.ebay.com/sch/nilachidatasystems/m.html Not sure how Homelinc is talking to these devices, but that's great if it's not having to talk through the ISY. And Keypads (do you mean like the 6 button or 8 button Insteon switches?) should control everything locally just as they always do. What is HomeLinc? To me that's just a garage/gate opener remote. The new Insteon is there to support their devices. If you might contact them they might be able to troubleshoot the device. Even if connected to the ISY. Otherwise, new PLMs are expected to be in stock early in 2023 so you might be able to find one sooner than later.

Programs have "response type 10" on them
@andrew77 not sure if it would help at this point, but in the programs tab you can right click on a program and next to last option is "Find/Replace". It opens this window: You might be able to figure out what devices was missing. It also gives the option to find "Raw Text". I haven't used this much in the past, but know it's an option. Might allow you to find all the places you have this "Response type 10" showing up and you can follow the bread crumbs back to what device was being referenced. More than likely it was a node server that either is no longer installed or not connecting correctly. If you're running node servers. Here's an old post that referenced this when upgrading to 5.x: (Found with Google Site Search)

Support thread for: IoX v.5.5.0
@bmarsh What device are you trying to upgrade to 5.5.2? Recently you posted about updating your ISY994. Note that 5.5.2 is only for Polisy and eisy devices. The last release for the ISY994 was 5.3.4 found in the Current Release area of the forums.

What is the procedure to get from Polisy/PG2/Zooz/PLM1 to eISY/PG3/ZMatter/PLM2?
Sorry...don't know about the steps. Just providing the link to the information that OP was asking for. My guess is this might be for people (like me) that are running a Polisy, but pushing data to the ISY994. So restoring the Polisy to eisy might put the ISY994 information into the ISYs menu on eisy dashboard. Just guessing. Again, don't know...haven't tried the steps. Just provided the link.

What is the procedure to get from Polisy/PG2/Zooz/PLM1 to eISY/PG3/ZMatter/PLM2?
General steps seem to be in the wiki. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Eisy:User_Guide#Migrating_from_994/Polisy_to_eisy I'm not sure I understand your question (or overall post as you ask the question then appear to answer it yourself). For the z-wave/ZMatter questions I can't answer that. I hadn't used Z-wave in the past so just connected the ZMatter dongle and about to setup first Z-wave device. Hope it is simple. I've always just had Insteon primarily for the ISY.

iBeacon/locative/IoP
I don't think it's available any further. Seems like Portal Occupancy was also part of Polyglot Cloud that got shut down in Feb 2022. I know others use Locative on iOS to trigger geofence events, but not sure how it is being done. Perhaps if it had been setup prior to shutting down of PGC something is still working for them.

pg3 missing directory
How are you trying to connect to the web interface? If just typing in the eisy IP make sure you add :3000 to the end of the IP. So it shoudl be: http://<eisy.ip.ad.here>:3000 Otherwise you can access it from IoX Launcher: (Selecting Polyglot V3 option) If you can't access it how do you think you can tell it's running?

ISY Error
No, I meant like a 3rd party app or UD Mobile. Even though some will suggest that 170001 errors are informational and could be ignored I wondered why you had "[UDSockets] RSub:32 error:6" following that. It was as though a 3rd party app was leaving something open in a connection with the ISY. Perhaps that the node server, but don't know enough to say for sure. I had seen Mobilinc put errors into the log with UDSockets in the past (long, long time ago) so made me wonder. Indeed. If you've worked with the node developer and they suggest it's ISY related perhaps the best step is to open a support ticket, provide the error log from the ISY. What device are you running the node server on? What version of Polyglot are you running? Are you using a Polisy or 3rd party device running PG2? If might be good to also include the Polyglot log package in your support ticket. Submit a Ticket: https://www.universal-devices.com/my-tickets Good luck! Post back how this gets resolved.

Migration 994/zwave to Eisy/Zmatter
If you had searched the forums you probably would have eventually found those links. They've been posted in many places. It was just recently that UDI offered the kit for making the conversion. I had been suggesting that recently, but with that out of stock (currently) if it's mission critical then Amazon to the rescue. Otherwise, hopefully UDI gets some back in stock and can ship soon.

ISY Error
@MFBra A few questions to try to help us out: 1 - what firmware are you on? 2 - please confirm UI and Firmware match (admin console Help -> About) 3 - What are you attempting to do that is causing this error? You just mention sending commands, but why? 4 - Are you running an app to access ISY? If so, which app? 5 - Are you on macOS? It appears from screen shots to be macOS. 6 - What's your general location? Early in your first post it appears to be using a time server in Brazil. (a.st1.ntp.br). If you're not there then you need a different NTP server. The wiki has a long list of error codes to check - https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:Errors_And_Error_Messages Additionally, it would help us out if you explained what issue you've been working on with @xKing that brought you back to needing ISY help. Ultimately, this might need to be handled through a support ticket with UDI, but with answers and more information perhaps somebody on the forums can help get you squared away somewhat.

Migration 994/zwave to Eisy/Zmatter
It might, but most have been getting this (or something similar) and making their own connection as @Brian H points out above. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00006IRQA (DB9 to RJ45 Modular Adapter - F/F) Then check your serial to USB that you might have. If not you can get this: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00IDSM6BW

Alexa doesn't accept percentage commands
@andrew77 are all devices the same type in Alexa? Some might be a switch and others might be a light. There might be a difference. Just a guess/hunch. I've just always used "set x to y" for simple use.

AC 5.5.1 / FW 5.5.0 ?
Looks like a release might be pending. Are you able to hit "no" and proceed into existing admin console session? This should probably clear up during the day.

ISY994i reboots every 4-5 minutes
@skydvrz Do you think you have a program stuck in a loop? Have you recently added/edited any programs? If you're able to get into the admin console look at the programs tab then summary and see if something keeps running. You can sort the programs by last run time to see what has run recently. As @matapan you might want to check the power supply as well. If acting normal the ISY should mostly just have a blue light on (I often say it's brighter than the sun because it really lights up a room). If it's not super bright then it's possible your power supply has gone bad and something is running to cause the ISY to power cycle when it's not getting enough power.
