Techman
Thank you, I'm I correct in assuming that there's no internal slot for the Z-wave/matter card. If not, what type of external enclosure will the card and its antennas reside in? Link to comment

Michel Kohanim
@Techman, USB with aluminum case using the same material as eisy. With kind regards, Michel 1 Link to comment
garybixler
Will the Zooz S2 700 stick work in the eisy as it does in the Polisy? What would be the advantage of going to the Z-Wave/Matter board? Thanks Gary Link to comment

Dub
I keep checking out the updates to the thread and can’t help noticing the word “Home” on the packaging. Wondering if that’s an indicator of device line and maybe there is a Pro or something else!?!? Between this and the teaser in the Insteon Mega Thread lots of excitement! Go eisy!!! 1 Link to comment

The advantage of MatterZ is that we are using a different firmware that enables OTA updates, better scene management, S2, and diagnostics. 6 Link to comment

TriLife
Wait, wait wait.... What is this Eisy thing now? Next gen Polisy? I was just asking about whether I should get a second Polisy for development and leave my home Polisy Pro in peace... When will the Eisy be available (hopefully along with the Z-Wave Dongle, unless that is already included)? do we have a cost yet? Cheers... 1 Link to comment
carealtor
So... This is pronounced just like "Easy"? @Michel Kohanim Edited August 9, 2022 by carealtor Link to comment
TriLife
These names of Pol-ISY and E-ISY sure are cute, but make google searches a bit of a PITA... "did you mean Policy?" or "did you mean Easy?" time and again... and since ISY is being retired... just an opinion... @Michel Kohanim 1 Link to comment

I'm sure if iPhone, iPad, etc were released today it would be just as confusing. 3 2 Link to comment

In time, that would change 1 Link to comment
upstatemike
So I was thinking a cool thing to roll out in conjunction with eisy would be a new Alexa skill that lets you configure eisy dashboards on any Echo Show. I already have tons of Echo Shows around my house so I'm not excited to use tablets or other screens for Dashboards... one screen per room is enough. I think something like this would get a lot of consumer attention. 1 Link to comment
