I'm getting this same error on Polisy 5.4.4 when trying to back up, except the filename is: ./FILES/CONF/frontend.pwd

I found a post on this error on ISY backup mentioning a remedy is to use the RF command with the specified filename, but when I do that on Polisy, it says

--bash: RF: command not found

?

I think you're crossing 994 instructions and trying to use it on a Polisy... not the same thing.

For your issue I would recommend that that you open a ticket.. email support@universal-devices.com (they do answer on weekends although not as fast on Saturday as any other day.)  UDI has amazing support!

@landolfi moved over to IoP area since you're specifically referencing Polisy. You did not have the same error as the thread you originally posted. Perhaps @MrBill's suggestion of opening a ticket will get you the help you need.

Are you trying to backup IoP (admin console) or Polyglot (web interface)? And you reference you found a link somewhere suggesting a bash command. Always good to include that link in your post so anybody trying to help you here can go read what you're talking about and not your interpretation of that issue.

Good luck getting this resolved!

Please post if you get help from UDI Support as to what was done to resolve this issue so that it might help others if they run into this issue as well.

Will post when I hear back, and thanks for moving to the right place, it's still confusing to me where the best place to put some of these questions is. As @MrBill pointed out, I was trying to use an ISY solution on Polisy thinking it was worth a try :).

I am not able to backup my ISY, when it gets to 30% I get the error, Could Not Retrieve File ./FILES/CONF/frontend.pwd

I am having some Polyglot issues and was going to reset the system to factory setting but wanted the backup first.
