  1. Hi smokegrub, Can you tell me what URL you use to access the remote ISY? It's always best to use: http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/admin.jnlp With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi Guys, Good news from Benoit! This will be available once Amazon certifies our V2 implementation. This is currently not in prod, this is the change that has to be put in prod as soon as it is certified, before users start using it. This works as follow; The device discovery works only with the preferred ISY. So, if one wants to have devices coming from 2 ISYs, he would have to set the preferred ISY to the first ISY, run a discovery, change the preferred ISY to the second one, then discover again. Then, all devices from the 2 ISYs will be available. When a user turns on a device, the command sent to portal from echo will contain the original UUID the device belongs to, and the command will run against that ISY. Security is enforced; the UUID needs to still be in the account, and authorized. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi Mike, Thanks so very much for the update. Quite ingenious! With kind regards, Michel
  4. Very simple: forward your invoices to sales@universal-devices.com and request for a refund. With kind regards, Michel
  5. mdonato, Unfortunately you cannot since MobiLinc app uses proprietary techniques for MobiLinc Connect vs. direct access to ISY (which is what we had to emulate for MobiLinc app to work). With kind regards, Michel
  6. LeeG, THANK YOU. As you might remember, you were the one who helped us implement it in the first place. I guess with all the font changes, that button got disappeared. Thanks again SO very much! With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hello all, There is a big distinction between Ecobee and ISY: Ecobee is only thermostats so you can have 10 thermostats and name them whatever you want. ISY is a collection of devices at different end points. So, it will become very difficult to manage 200 devices at different end points. This said, we'll look into it. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi Dean, Are you using Status or Control? With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi DualBandAid, If this is for the same ISY, then you do NOT need to purchase anything else. Can you please elaborate on what you are trying to achieve? With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi Mark, You can configure EZFlora to act as a pump or regular irrigation zone. That option, unfortunately, is no longer visible in the UI because of the changes to the fonts. This said, you should be able to turn zone 8 on/off regardless with one difference: if not in pump mode, turning zone 8 turns off other zones. If in pump mode, zone 8 can be turned on/off independent of other zones. Is this NOT what you are experiencing? With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi giomania, Unfortunately this is a UI bug and already fixed in our next 4.x and 5.x branches. I am so sorry. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi blueman2, If you have purchased the Network Module, then you get to keep it forever regardless of the Portal Module. On the other hand, if you ask us to extend your Portal Subscription, then when the portal subscription expires, your Network Module goes away. With regards to your math: you have already used Network Module for one year and thus the reduction in extension. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi DualBandAid, Please send your UUID (Help | About) to support@universal-devices.com and request for deactivation. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi kingwr The main issue is that we may get hid with 1000s of support calls! Will you handle those too? With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi kingwr, Yes, the main issue is the migration from v1 and v2. Amazon is looking into the possible impacts (such as having to forget all devices and rediscover vs. a seamless migration). With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi Doug, Since your ISY Portal subscription comes with the Network Module, it should be easy: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-994i_Series_INSTEON:Networking:Network_Resources#Sonos With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi Nakynaw, You are not day dreaming and 100% possible as Paul outlined in the post #3 above: http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/19108-switching-switchs/?p=178682 . I also strongly recommend that you peruse the Wiki and what you can do with scenes: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:How-To_Guide#Scenes With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi Teken, We did apply and was denied. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi Mark, Thanks so very much for the feedback. Yes, definitely an issue with dual band PLMs and older RemoteLincs. To be honest, I have never ever seen a successful installation when there are older access points and RF SignaLincs (with the antennas) in conjunction with dual band devices. It has always been a hit/miss. If you have many recent dual band devices, I strongly recommend getting rid of your access points and wireless SignaLincs (if you have any). This said, I do not think the RemoteLinc issue is related. With kind regards, Michel
  20. LOL! With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi Frank, ISY queries the meter every few minutes and messages are retrieved when queried so that's what you see in the log. Please click on the Confirm button (if enabled). We have to remove the message popups in the Admin Console. That's a bug. The yellow blinking price means that ISY got a new price from the meter. So, that's the price that's being sent by PG&E. Is it correct? All, Thanks so very much for the feedback and excellent discussion. In CA we do have very many rates (7 tiers) which make things very difficult for customers. CPUC rule 15-007-01 tried to address these rates and they came up with 4 tier pricing with a super user (those who do not care or cannot reduce demand). What Frank is seeing is based on this new rate structure. What we proposed with RATES is: let the customers decide how much they want to use (i.e. one subscription price per month). With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi Mark, Are these the big RemoteLincs or small ones? With kind regards, Michel
  23. Thank you Scott. This said, if this is indeed a bug (which we cannot reproduce), it would help us tremendously if we can do a remote session to your computer and figure out what it is so that it can be fixed. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Scott, We are trying to "fix" the issue you're having in the most efficient way. Do you want it fixed? If so, then please submit a ticket. If not, then I am not sure what else to say. Hopefully I will not be blamed for ignoring your requests. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi Chuck, Unfortunately not. We are still waiting for them to certify our V2 API submission (includes thermostats). With kind regards, Michel
