  1. Hi Wingsy, First of all, I am so very sorry to hear about all the problems you have been having. Before considering these events as All On/Off events, please do take a look at your Tools | Log as it will have enough information to let you know: 1. Whether or not these devices were turned on/off 2. Who turned them on/off (last column: user) 3. What events preceded these With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi sdcrane, Unfortunately not. We keep getting intermittent emails that it's imminent but nothing materializes. Again, for us, we have everything tested and working with the test end point. They just have to switch the end points (of course, everyone might have rediscover devices). With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi Teken, Zigbee 3.0 is supposed to do that but I have not yet seen any devices with 3.0. With kind reagrds, Michel
  4. Hi robandcathy, Teken is 100% correct! 1) You don't need anything else except the daughter card 2) You must make sure your utility allows you to join the HAN 3) You cannot control anything else with the Zigbee dongle With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi larryllix, This is excellent news especially since it's running on 5.0.4. Thanks again so very much! With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi Rob, Thank you. Definitely looking into it. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi Rob, Yes. Please do make sure you are NOT using the secure port. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi larryllix, This is more than fantastic. Thanks so very much! With kind regards, Michel
  9. TheFallenAngel, Are you certain that you have the latest? The old UI's certificate expired so you can no longer run it. What I would do is: 1. Clear Java cache AND delete all the certificates in Java Console (under Security tab) AND remove all the sites on the Exception list 2. Go to http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/admin.jnlp 3. Make sure you are asked whether or not you trust "Universal Devices, Inc." ... you might want to check the option that makes your decision permanent With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi TheFallenAngel, You do NOT need anything in the exception list. On your notebook, admin.jnlp goes into the download folder. You will have to go there and click it before anything happens. With kind regards, Michel
  11. elliott9, You have to make sure you are using 4.4.6 UI and Firmware. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi mdonato, The issue is that we had to put a LOT Of hooks in ISY Portal to support MobiLinc especially with regards to subscriptions. So, a simple process of subscription would require: checking the base URL, fixing it, checking the profile for My Preferred ISY, attaching it to the session, and a lot of other things that would have automatically worked if MobiLinc supported a path in the URL + fixed the headers. In short, I would say that ISY Portal is "emulating" MobiLinc Connect. You can test this by using ISY Web Access which is almost instantaneous. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi Jay M, My pleasure and thanks so very much for the feedback. I totally understand your point and it makes a lot of sense. Please note that you have 30 day money back guarantee so if you don't like it, you can return it free of charge. Thanks again and with kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi johnmsch, As jerland suggested, please try: 1. Please clear your Java cache: https://www.java.com/en/download/help/plugin_cache.xml 2. Go to http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/admin.jnlp .. Use the generated ICON on your desktop (instead of browser) With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi stusviews, That's fantastic ... the question is: should everyone go through the same exercise? What if each Echo had a device ID which was passed along to ISY Portal? It's really as simple as that since, right now, we are using Account instead of device ID. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hello everyone, Thanks so very much for the lively discussion and all the input and feedbcak. As Teken suggested, as a company, our philosophy is pretty much anti-cloud. This said, we had no choice but to use the cloud for certain services such as Echo and IFTTT. To be perfectly frank, we are still paying off the initial development costs for the portal. Although we will add a lot more features to the portal, this said, these features will only be isolated to services that are cloud dependent. If there is any way to avoid the cloud, we will. Thanks again, With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi kingwr, I couldn't agree with you more. Alexa must be location sensitive. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi kingwr, We are still waiting for approval! With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi gonzo__007, Why do you do File | Restore Modem. Or, better yet, what trouble are you having now? With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hello MeDoISY( love the name!), I am so very sorry to hear. Cannot find any errors in the log. If you don't mind, would you please: 1. On the computer with which you have this problem, go to http://whatismyip.com 2. Send the IP address with a link to this post (http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/18855-42216-partial-portal-connect/?p=175692) to support@universal-devices.com .. 3. Once we have this information, we'll coordinate a test window at which point we'll look for errors from that IP address With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi barrygordon, Ditto ... I was actually shocked last night! All commands were accepted (without Echo second guessing me). With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi Chuck, I am not more than confused! We are in Daylight Saving so it should be engaged! I will definitely have to take a look. Would you please send an email to support@universal-devices.com with a link to this post? We'll do a remote session to see what may be going on. With kind regards, Michel
  23. TheFallenAngel, No. Pure speculation on my part but they did say that they were going to review the list we sent them. They have been extremely professional in all their dealings with us and, thus, I have no reason not to believe them. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi theringnebula , Please DO NOT factory reset your ISY. If you can access your ISY remotely, then the only issues are: 1. You have bookmarked your ISY's IP address which is no longer the same 2. You are using Chrome which no longer supports the applet What you need to do is: 1. Clear your Java cache 2. Go to http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/admin.jnlp... use the ICON on your desktop With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi Chuck, Perhaps I didn't understand the issue. Are you currently in a state that honors DST? If so, from the drop down choose USA/Canada. If not, from the drop down choose Off. I am so very sorry for all these issues. This shouldn't have happened alas it seems that in some cases the DST migration was not successful (we added DST/Time zones for most countries in the world). With kind regards, Michel
