  1. Hi Simon, If you are getting the correct information about the certificate, then the problem is the key and or signature. Currently, ISY can only handle up to 2048 bit RSA keys with SHA1 signatures. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi Mike, That's quite odd. I suspect that it might have to do with caching in RSS vs. Real time in the commercial APIs. But, then again, pure speculation! With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi Simon, If you have a wildcard certificate, you must import it in PKCS12 format. Is that what you did? With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi mountainman3520, My pleasure. I will have to defer the answer to these questions to higher authorities! With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi Harold, Please try using httpS instead of http to access ISY. And, if you still have problems, please do be kind enough to contact our tech support (links below) and we'll be delighted to schedule a call and walk through the solution with you. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi Rich, No. Sorry. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hello mountainman3520, Thanks so very much for the details. Quite enlightening! On Venstar thermostats (depending on the firmware) ISY can set the time and there's a command for it in the programs. On 2441TH, unfortunately, such facility does not exist. I am so very sorry. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi Harold, first of all, thanks so very much for the feedback. It's quite helpful. Please find my comments below. Have you checked out our recent version of the User Guide ( http://www.universal-devices.com/docs/p ... 0%20a2.pdf )? We did in fact spend considerable amount of resources on quite a professional tech writer/editor to whom I am very grateful. Does the user guide need more refinement? If so, more details of where would be quite appreciated. Furthermore we did create a few short Video tutorial: http://wiki.universal-devices.com This I agree with and we shall work on it. Heck, I have more problems with my MAC/Java than I have ever had with any Windows version. As such, yes, it's needed. Forums or Wiki? This is more than a burden. This is basically not possible based on our resources and that's why we do make EVERY effort to make the User Guide to be the complete guide you need for your specific version. Wiki is organic and it grows that way. User Guide is the most important document and then augmented by our support team, Wiki, and forums. I am not sure I agree with the Java part since, basically, you should NOT know anything about Java. As far as diagrams, yes, I agree. Again, a) User Guide Contact Support c) and d) use Forum/Wiki to augment None. I do not set any of those parameters myself! With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi Harold, Great! Do you happen to have any firewall software? If so, you might want to try accessing ISY using httpS (instead of http) OR add ISY's IP address to the exclusion list/trusted zone in your firewall. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi Galun, Do you have status of any of your device show up in the Admin Console? Please check your error log for WeatherBug related errors and let us know. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi Harold, Please try javaws.exe . I am just quite shocked that Java Web Start is not used by default. If you go to Control Panel | Java | Security, is the "Enable Java content in browser" checkbox enabled? If you are still having problems, please do not hesitate to submit a ticket (below) and we'll login to your computer and figure out what's going on. With kind regards, Michel
  12. apostolakisl, I can only refer you to: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... #Operators . Other functions are planned and we are working on them as we speak. Autonow, Welcome to our world! Yes, Zigbee is excellent for I/O ... the only problem is that not all Zigbee devices are interoperable. As such, ISY only supports a few. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hello apostolakisl, Bitwise operations have been there since day 1. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi Harold, For Windows 8, you must be in Desktop mode to be able to do anything with Java. As such, here are my recommendations: 1. Make sure you have Java installed 2. Switch to Desktop mode 3. Go to http://isy.universal-devices.com/99i/admin.jnlp ... the browser will ask you what you would like to do with it, please choose Open. If you are using Chrome, you will see admin.jnlp downloaded to bottom left corner of your browser. Click on it With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hello isyrocks, Unfortunately you are correct. Please do send an email to sales@Universal-devices.com and we'll do our best to accommodate. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi Taner, Unfortunately we do not have any plans for those options in Admin Console. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi Joe, Unfortunately you cannot do that now the reason for which were a) not enough demand and RFXCOM only had USB devices. This said, we are working on a few enhancements which will allow easier integration with ISY form a 3rd party perspective. I am crossing my fingers that we should have something quite exciting by the beginning of next year. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi Michael, In your scenario where the leak happened during an outage of the ISY - the status will not be known by the ISY. In this state - if the leak sensor triggers a leak again - will the ISY know right away (I suspect this is the case)? Or will it have to wait for the heartbeat before leaks will be detected? I think the latter. Or, at the least, that was my experience with it Basically, this is a Control that's sent every 24 hours. So, you would have a program that checks for this Control and waits 24 hours. If you do not hear it within 24 hours, then you can assume something is wrong Precisely!
  19. Hi Doug, Just sent you an email. I think it's the SD Card that has come loose. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hello rickbase1, Unfortunately you cannot do that at the moment but this is something we are actively working on. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi jpjoe, Definitely future plan. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi binaryman, I am sure we had to remove those conditions from programs. MorningLinc can never be a controller. Furthermore - and in addition to not knowing the status - we cannot even query the status of the MorningLinc. In short, you can NEVER trust what ISY is reporting as status for this device. And, therefore, we had no choice but to remove the condition from programs. Once we have Z-Wave, I think it'll be very important for you to consider Z-Wave solutions instead. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi Greg, thanks. Please do keep us posted. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi binaryman, Please try the following UI and let me know if you get it back: http://isy.universal-devices.com/99i/3.3.10 I remember that we had to take it out because of security issues. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi Chelmite, I enjoyed and found myself agreeing with your treatise on KPL button statuses. Unfortunately you cannot do the former. For the latter (toggle vs. non-toggle), click on one of the nodes of the KPL and then click on Buttons Toggle Mode button at the bottom of the screen. This allows you to change the toggle mode behavior for each of the buttons. With kind regards, Michel
