  1. Hi johnnyt, I empathize with you and your dilemma. As far as instructions: 1. They are already in http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... r_ISY-994i page 9 2. We cannot have instructions for each CA 3. There are some CAs that have signatures that were not supported by 4.0.5, those are fixed but we are in Alpha and I cannot give them out unless it's asked explicitly 4. I would assume for something as novel/sophisticated as certificates and their application, our tech support would have been a better choice With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi johnnyt, Do you still have the existing certs that you created? If so - and since you are on 4.0.11, you can use an updated dashboard that supports SHA2 certificate thumbprint/signatures. Please send an email to support@universal-devices.com and we'll help you with the process. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi johnnyt, Are you on 4.0.11 alpha? With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Barry, Unfortunately not: every time you subscribe, the status of all controls/properties are published. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi Barry, Err is a control that identifies Error condition on a node. Since Error is not a status, it's used in Responding/Not Responding conditions in programs. Err = 0 means that this device is responding. Err = 1 means that this device has had communication issues. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi brklaas1, Thank you. The main question is whether or not you rebooted ISY with the new PLM before doing any restore device/modem. Please note that newer I2CS devices require a link from the PLM before they start communicating with the PLM. As such, it's very important that the order of events has rebooting ISY with the new PLM as its first step. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hello bclarke01, Yes. #121 ... priority low. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi Rich, This should work for your requirements. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello brklaas1, kclenden is 100% correct. I would not start fresh at all since I really do not think the problems you are reporting have anything to do with ISY but with the INSTEON/Configuration changing. Actually, I really cannot think of any good reasons why you would start from scratch unless you moved or you wanted to start from scratch. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello rossarmstrong, This is quite baffling. Personally, I suspect one of them is really not what it's reporting to be. Please have both of them added, rename the old one to OLD-LAMPLINC and the new one to NEW-LAMPLINC. Once you have done that, go to http://your.isy.ip.address/rest/nodes ... save as .xml and send to support@universal-devices.com. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Yes, that's correct. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi rossarmstrong, Please do not choose manually. Again, the following are compatible: DEV_SCAT_LAMPLINC_V2_2456D3, DEV_SCAT_INLINE_DIMMABLE, DEV_SCAT_LAMPLINC_2_PIN, DEV_SCAT_ICON_LAMPLINC_V2_2_PIN_2856D2, DEV_SCAT_SOCKETLINC_2454D, DEV_SCAT_COMPANION_SWITCH_2474S, DEV_SCAT_INLINE_LINC_DIMMER_2475D, DEV_SCAT_BIPHY_LAMPLINC_B2457D2, DEV_SCAT_LAMPLINC_2_PIN_DIMMER_2457D2X, DEV_SCAT_LAMPLINC_2_PIN_DIMMER_2457D2X_SP, DEV_SCAT_INLINELINC_DIMMER_2475D_SP, DEV_SCAT_OUTLETLINC_DIMMER_2472D_DUAL_BAND, DEV_SCAT_INLINELINC_DIMMER_2475DA1, DEV_SCAT_LED_BULB_8WATT_2672_222, With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi rossarmstrong, If indeed you have 2456D2 and 2457D2, then they are compatible and you should be able to replace them. Please do make sure one is NOT a S2 (switch) and the other D2. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Michael, Not natively but you can assign to a variable and then revert. With kind regards, Michel

Hi Matt, Those errors simply mean that a subscriber did not gracefully unsubscribe and ISY had to terminate the subscription. Nothing to worry about. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hello all, Thanks so very much for the feedback and we already have this in our list. This said, I have to emphasize that, like all other WiFi thermostats (EcoBee, Honeywell, NEST, Filterrete, etc.) this thermostat also has a closed API and requires communications with a cloud based service to which you have to register. As such, it stays pretty low on our requirements list since it breaks our philosophy of "autonomy". With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi rossarmstrong, It's quite possible since, and most probably, the subcategory is not identical. What's your UI version? (Help | About) With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi 16sail, I am so very sorry to hear. Please note that you cannot really "disable" AVAST since the filtering rules remain. I have two suggestions: 0. Reboot ISY 1. Either use httpS (most firewall software are more lenient with https) OR 2. Put ISY's IP address in the exclusion/white/trusted list in Avast With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi Dale, I am so very sorry to hear. Basically, the main issue is that ISY cannot communicate with your device for which there are multiple reasons: 1. Phase issues 2. Signal Quality/noise issues 3. Signal Strength issues The first thing I recommend is to plugin the IOLinc in the same outlet as the PLM and retry. If that also fails, then the problem could be the IOLinc itself. Please open Tools | Diagnostics | Event Viewer, change the level to 3, and retry. Please copy/paste the contents to here. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi Bob, Thanks so very much for the update! With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hello everyone, Just sent an email to Earth Networks. This is not normal. They did change their APIs/Servers for customers who do not use their commercial APIs (8/31/2013) but we were promised that there would be no impact to commercial API users of which we are one. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hello ES1400, You can add ISY's IP address to the trusted zone/exclusion list in AVG. Alternatively, most Firewall software are more lenient with https traffic so you might want to try connecting to ISY using https instead of http. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi jmed999, The only thing I can think of is that perhaps the station ID for your backyard's weather station has changed? With kind regards, Michel
  24. bmartinette, You do not need to do File | Enable Internet Access if you are creating port forwarding rules in the router. It's an either/or thing. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi Barry, That's the international format which we have used for more than 6 years. It would be quite difficult to just change it now. And thus my suggestion that perhaps you can have it in any format you like if you use /rest/log. With kind regards, Michel
