  1. Hi gkisyuser, You have to use addresses as you find them /rest/nodes. You can also right mouse click on the node | rename and you'll see the address. The 1 indicates that this is the device's primary node. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi terschen, I already responded to your ticket. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi ferdies, The unit is returning status code 400 = bad request. I think it's time to review their API documentation. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi ferdies, I am not sure if there's an impact but you need to either change the user-agent or completely remove it. What you have there does not make sense. The rest looks good. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi Guys, This is UI related and it should be fixed in the next code drop hopefully by Sunday. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi guedesluz, Please try 8.8.4.4. If that also fails, please send your router's logs to support@universal-devices.com. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi John, I am not sure what you are suggesting. ISY, just like any web server, is responding as it should for a request to a resource that DOES NOT EXIST. Are you suggesting that we should go find all the apple-specific URLs out there in the world, trap them in ISY, and randomly return images that we like? I must say that from our inception Apple has been nothing but a nightmare for us. From MAC to iPhone/iPad, Airport, Airport Extreme, etc. A good portion of our tech support calls is to address Apple issues. This has led us to believe that Apple does have territorial mentality and pretty much forces everyone to use their native features: a) see above as an example and for the longest time, Apple had its own Java implementation which were never up-to-date with the latest versions. Mind you, ISY's html interface is HTML and Javascript (AJAX) which 99% of other browsers and mobile devices support. But, of course, Apple has to inject its own images and we have to change the firmware to "ignore" apple! Quite frustrating to say the least. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi blueman2, This is a UI issue and related to Java threads. It has nothing to do with the remote itself which is fully supported. Simply restart the Admin. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi Andy, Yes, but low priority. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi Andy, Forecast is not included in WB parameters. It's a different API call which we have not yet implemented. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi cloyd474, What port have you forwarded and is it the same port as ISY's HTTPS port? Please note that some routers may use the same port (443) and thus you might have to change ISY's https port and change the port forwarding rules. If you are still having problems, please do not hesitate to submit a ticket and we'll be delighted to schedule a remote session and help you out. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hello abuttino, So, the problem is only on one position. Have you tried running the program manually to see if it works at all? How about when you click on the Test button on the resource. Does that work? With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hello telljcl, I think the first question would be: what are you trying to control and/or sense. If thermostats and heavy duty load controllers, RCS Zigbee thermostat/load controller will be sufficient. If you want to change every switch in every class room, then your wireless of-the-shelf-inexpensive choices are pretty limited: INSTEON, Z-Wave, or UPB. Zigbee thermostats and load controllers. Z-Wave will be available soon. Again, the question is what you are trying to achieve. I very much doubt you would want to have the same configuration as your home at school. Yes. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hello Everyone, Java 1.7.45 has introduced a twist which requires all jar files to include a manifest file with a security attribute (Permissions). If your Java security settings is set to Very High, then 4.0.5 (UI) will be blocked. In this case, you have two choices: 1. Clear your Java cache and then go to http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/4.0.11/admin.jnlp 2. Or, change your security settings in Java Control Panel to High (instead of Very High) ... I do not recommend this We have also updated all the UI in default locations and thus Admin Console might be downloaded again and the UI version will be 4.0.11. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi telljcl, ISY994iZ Series has been successfully used in a variety of school buildings including a high school with 5 different buildings. The addition of high powered Zigbee allows you to communicate with RCS thermostats and load controllers without any additional wiring. Furthermore, ISY is OpenADR 2.0 (a) and soon ( certified which means that it can participate in demand response programs provided by your utility. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi Julie, Did you follow my instructions and, if so, where you successful in upgrading to 2.8.16 and then 3.3.10? Xathros, as always, thanks so very much for your help. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi pinkfish, It seems that ISY has a lot of problems getting a DHCP/IP from your router. If you are still having the same issue, please go to Tools | Diagnostics | PLM Info/Status and let me know what you see. Also, reboot your ISY and let me know the pattern of lights on the front of the unit. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hello LKO, If you don't mind Z-Wave, we are going to have our Z-Wave solution out soon which supports almost all Z-Wave thermostats. If you are more into energy monitoring OR if you have a very large house wherein Z-Wave might not be functional, then our Zigbee module allows you to communicate with RCS Zigbee thermostats (TZB45). Please note that it's an either/or thing: either Z-Wave OR Zigbee. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi Michael, Excellent suggestion and the only reason we have not has been the fact that it's become ingrained into the forum, user guides, tutorials, videos, etc. and thus a massive change. We are hoping to completely remove it from the menu and put it in the configuration tab. With kind regards, Michel

    Please help

Hi Paul, Please check your email. I think the unit you got was not new and thus there might be some programs in there that are causing a conflict. Sent you instructions to factory reset. And, if you can get the contact information for your ebay seller, I would very much like to contact him and figure out his business model and warranty information. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi Tag29m, It seems that your router does not support UPnP. What you need to do is File | Disable Internet Access and then create the port forwarding rule manually: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... PnP_Router With kind regards, Michel

Hi Don, Do you have any baby monitors? With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi Wayne, Error Log please and not the log. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi Wayne, Have you looked at the Error Log to see if you have SMTP errors? http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... MTP_Errors With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi PurdueGuy, You are correct and the reason we chose not to do it that way is in the list I outlined. In short, for the sake of consistency (and not having to query things all the time). With kind regards, Michel
