  1. Hello scoobydawg, I am so very sorry to hear about all the problems you are having. In some cases, when the power comes back on, the spike kills the PLM. I've seen this many times before but with different symptoms. Would you be kind enough getting a replacement PLM? Also, after a power outage, some other INSTEON devices fail and thus cause a lot of noise on the network. This will be quite tricky but with the help of Event Viewer you might be able to pinpoint the faulty device. With kind regards, Michel

Hello Andrew, Sincere apologies ... this post was somehow lost! Please do be kind enough to upgrade to 2.6.8 and let me know if you run into the same issue again. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hello upstatemike, If this is indeed a switch problem then I am worried that we are going to see more of this. Can you do me a favor: Check the Device Link Table and ISY Link Table for this switch and, if they are different, please send me both (we did this before but not with 2.6.13). With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Gary, LOL. I was in an all day meeting. Now I am back and hopefully I should be back home tomorrow. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Randy, my pleasure and sincere apologies for having to go through this. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi Joe, It's with regret that I have to inform you none of our releases fully support EZIO. It's basically dependent on your luck (and our luck) ... we have almost exhausted all our options: sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. We have not been able to figure out the secret ingredient yet. This said, however, we have not given up yet. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Gary and Nick, Where would we be without you? Eclipse decided that we could have a type (Subscription) without it being defined. I now added it back and it should work fine ... please do wait for 2.6.13. Thanks SO very much, With kind regards,
  8. Hello dbencivengo, Yes, -2 means device communication error: i.e. the PLM does not receive acknowledges back from devices. If you have had a power surge, then in all likelihood your PLM is shot (and you will have the same problem again within days). May I humbly suggest a replacement PLM? With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello upstatemike, Have you tried restoring your switch using 2.6.12? With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello all, For all who are interested in a possible fix for the on level/ramp rate issue, please checkout this post: http://forum.universal-devices.com/view ... hp?p=14246 Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi Gary, Please retry. I do apologize for not updating the website with the most recent WSDL. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi Michael, Apologies ... we have left all the GUI bugs for last but this shall surely be fixed in our official 2.7 release (as soon as we get all the i2/Insteon bugs fixed). Thanks so very much for your patience, With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi Randy, I am going to send you an email shortly with the instructions. With kind regards, Michel

  17. Mr. Sullivan and Gary, Thanks so very much for your input and you are 100% correct: we do not charge for INSTEON compatibility enhancements. Wayne, We are doing our best to support SimpleHomeNet devices. This said, however, we have had a lot of technical difficulties. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hello Rich, I think the best thing to do is to leave your PLC in there for now. 1. Plug in your ISY 2. Plug in your PLM 3. Add devices to your ISY You can add devices into ISY in two ways: 1. Link Management->Start Linking and then tap link all your devices (I recommend starting small) 2. Link Management->New INSTEON Device in which case you will have to know the address of your device In both cases, you would want to choose the first option (remove existing links) as this will reduce a lot of problems down the line. Also, if you run into any questions/issues, please call our tech support line and we'll walk you through it. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hello Illusion, No, this is no Illusion! We never did put node names in the event viewer. But, this is surely something we have to do. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi Randy, Do you have an older backup of your system? I think your file system is corrupted (for some reason) and we will have to do one of the following two things: 1. Format the file system, reinstall 2.6.8, and restore your backup OR 2. If you wish, you can send it to us and we can restore your back up for you The main question is: do you have a recent backup of your system? With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi Rich, The main idea behind ISY is an affordable, self contained/standalone, web based, remotely accessible energy management system. This is not limited to lights only. ISY is accessible from any mobile device including Windows Mobile since the mobile interface is 100% HTML (no Java). Due to the complexity of what we do in the Admin Console, we would have to use a rather thick client be it Java, ActiveX, Air, SilverLight, etc. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi Gary, yes I did. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hello again jamesx0, I did some testing and I still couldn't reproduce it. This said, however, I did reproduce the problem whereby some devices have the wrong status after a long query. This leads me to believe that these two bugs are one and the same: in all likelihood, one of the devices in the condition has the wrong status (after the query) and thus the condition becomes true. The next time this happens, would you be kind enough to check the Log and make sure that at least one of those devices was reporting On? This has been fixed in the next release. With kind regards,
  24. Hi Burak, I think the problem was that the module was not getting updated with correct information. Please do keep us posted. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hello Rich, As you pointed out, ISY cannot do speech or work "directly" with wireless X10 devices. We do not yet have any plans to support either of these technologies. With kind regards, Michel
