Starting over with a failed system
@gschoffstall You need to focus on communications between the devices and your PLM. If other Insteon devices are working then the problem is not a failed PLM. You mentioned that you have been switching beetween PLMs. If so did you follow the "Replace PLM" procedure? How many dual band devices do you have in your network. Have you verified that the powerline is bridged using the 4 tap test? (see attached file) 4 Tap test.pdf

Is there a "fast on" option for a scene that doesn't have every device go to 100%?
Scenes only support on or off. You'll need to either use multiple scenes, each with different on levels, or you could use programs to set the on levels.

Starting over with a failed system
The (discontinued) ApplianceLinc is a powerline only device. Your issue is either caused by noise on the powerline or that your powerline is not properly bridged (see attached article) Being that Insteon is a mesh network, the more dual band devices you have, the more reliable your system becomes. Also take a look at this link: Can't Determine INSTEON engine (youtube.com) Insteon Mesh Network.pdf

Beginner Question adding Z-wave device to EISY
When you add a Zwave device to the eisy you'll most likely end up with extra nodes that you don't need. The reason being is that, unlike Insteon, zwave devices are designed to work with various Zwave hubs, and each hub may require and/or support these extra nodes. What most of us do is create a folder and move the nodes we don't use into that folder which will give you a cleaner device tree. I've attached 2 files that may help explain associations. Being that the eisy already supports scenes you most likely won't need the associations or scenes nodes that the device installs Z-Wave Association-Basics.pdf Zwave Groups and Associations.pdf

Gremlins happening with my Insteon devices and EISY
It appears that you have a communications problem between the PLM and your devices. It's possible that the you could have interference on the powerline. Have you recently added any new appliances or other electricial devices? Take a look at this wiki article: INSTEON: Troubleshooting Communications Errors - Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki (universal-devices.com)

Starting over with a failed system
@gschoffstall The PLM was manufactured in 2012. You should probably replace it with a 2413U. The current PLMs have improved circuitry and updated firmware. The USB model would eliminate the need for a serial to USB converter cable.

Starting over with a failed system
It's possible, being that you have an older plm, that the system is OK but the PLM isn't. What is the 4 digit date code on your PLM? Do you have a recent and viable eisy backup? If you want to start fresh you need to factory reset each device, including the PLM, and the eisy. This will remove the link tables from all of the above. Before doing a factory reset you should try factory resetting just the PLM and then do a restore PLM. If you do a restore PLM then you should first disable the write to battery devices. You'll then have to restore each battery operated device, one at a time.

A Number of Insteon Devices State Changes no Longer Being "Seen" Correctly by EISY
For the EISY you should use the 2413U It uses a standard USB cable to connect to the EISY. The 2413S also works but it requires a USB to SERIAL adapter cable

A Number of Insteon Devices State Changes no Longer Being "Seen" Correctly by EISY
@bw23198 It's possible that your PLM is faiing. Check to make sure the green led on the PLM is on. Depending on how old your PLM is, it might be need to be replaced. Some of the older PLMs had a tendency to fail after a few years.

A Number of Insteon Devices State Changes no Longer Being "Seen" Correctly by EISY
You can restore the link table to an individual device by right clicking on the device then left click on "restore device". This only writes the link table to the device, not the plm I've attached a page from the ISY Cookbook which defines the restore process. A Number of Insteon Devices State Changes no Longer Being "Seen" Correctly by EISY
@Michaelco Try doing a "restore devices". This will write the all the device link tables to the plm. If you have any battery operated devices then disable automatic write to battery devices before you do the restore.

My ISY Lost some of its configuration
I'm not aware of any way to clean the internal contacts in the ISY994. Have you tried rebooting the ISY. The problem you're having might be related to an issue with one of the configuration files on the SD card.. The eisy uses solid state memory, the specs are attched

My ISY Lost some of its configuration
It's possible that your SD card is failing. One thing you can try is removing the card and cleaning its contacts with a soft eraser. If that doesn't help then you may want to replace the card. The configuration is stored on the SD card. Make sure you have a recent and viable backup. What is your ISY firmware version. How old is the ISY?

After power cycling of Polisy, Weatherflow NS requires “restart”
I'm running the exact configuration on my eisy and all the weatherflow data shows up after a reboot. I have the Tempest, firmware 181. The hub is firmware 194 Weatherflow node server is version 3.0.30

After power cycling of Polisy, Weatherflow NS requires “restart”
Are you running tha latest version of PG3x (3.2.7)? What is your Polisy firmware and UI version? Are you obtaining your Weatherflow data locally from the Hub or remotely? The Weatherflow data should automatically populate your Polisy after a reboot.

Troubleshooting I/O Link messages
@twired I just took a look at my open/close sensor and noticed that the heartbeat status was also blank, so I replaced the battery and it was still blank. I put the sensor into the linking mode and did a restore device. Now all the sensor nodes are reporting. For some reason, prior to the restore, the admin console was not seeing the device status but UD Mobile correctly displayed the device status after the restore.

Troubleshooting I/O Link messages
@twired Yes, you should update your firmware and UI 5.8.4. It contains bug fixes and improvements. If you're not getting a heartbeat signal then it's possible the battery needs to be replaced.

Blinking lights, endless loop
The light module and the keypad should both be a controller in the scene. You might also try doing a restore device on both the module and the keypad. Is the module included in any programs or just the one scene? If you're still having issues you may want to try deleting the scene and then recreate it.

Polisy Failure?
When using a serial PLM with either the Polisy or EISY it requires a serial to USB convertor cable (see link below). The USB PLM uses a standard USB cable. Serial PLM Kit - Universal Devices (universal-devices.com)

Lightning Strike near house
You can try doing a factory reset on the switch, then a restore device. If that doesn't fix the issue then It's possible that a component in the switch was damaged by the volltage surge in which case you'll need to replace the switch The switch uses triacs.
