  2. The only problem I've come across with the Multisensor 7 is that the USB socket is right next to the set button. When a USB cable is plugged into the sensor it's almost impossible to use the set button. They recently came out with the Multisensor 8, however I haven't seen one so I don't know if they relocated the set button. You might want to contact Aerotech support and ask them if that issue has been resolved. I use several battery operated Multisensors outdoors under the eaves. They work well and I haven't had any issues with them.
  3. Scenes are more efficient than programs. You would add each device into a scene as a Controller. When a device in a scene, or the scene itself, is turned on or off all the devices in that scene would also turn on or off. Here's a link to a scene tutorial ISY-99i/ISY-26 INSTEON:Working With Scenes - in-depth tutorial - Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki (universal-devices.com)
  4. @djones1415 When you rplaced the PLM did you follow the "replace plm procedures"? see attached Replace PLM.pdf
  5. It's possible that those devices have a marginal signal. Have you tried adding a z-wave repeater? It looks like device 168 is communicating with the controller but not the other devices. Are the devices 500 or 700 series?
  6. Are any of the devices that you're unable to update battery powered? Which controller and Z-wave dongle are you using, 500 or 700 series?
  7. Use HTML instead of text For line feeds insert <BR> at the end of the line.
  8. In PG3x, if you've tried "Auto Discover IoX's" and "Refresh IoX's", then it's probably best to submit a support ticket To submit a ticket: https://www.universal-devices.com/my-tickets
  9. @Javi RE: Icons, I noticed that when you have grouped devices only the primary icon can be changed. Is that by design?
  10. One longshot you can try is removing power from the Polisy for about a minute, then boot up
  11. The Zmatter dongle specs, and Z-wave certification, show that Z-wave LR is supported
  12. What type of device is 27.EC.8F Try doing a diagnostics / compare on the device to see if the link tables are damaged.
  13. In your device tree, disable the motion sensor then try the backup again The battery state shouldn't make a difference as the device is usually asleep when you do a backup.
  14. Perhaps @bmercier might have a suggestion
  15. In PG3, in the IoX Configuration tab, have you tried "refresh Iox" and "auto discover iox"?
  16. What have steps have you tried to get it to connect?
  17. In that case I would wait for @bmercier to respond.
  18. After the update on my eisy everything shows as connected. Maybe try running the update again.
  19. I'm not sure if the Zooz 800 is compatible with the Polisy. Make sure the the Polisy firmware is up to date and in the configuration tab of the admin console be sure to check the Zwave box, then save. Below is the link to the UDI Zmatter/Zwave/Zigbee addon module for the Polisy ZMatter USB: Z-Wave+, Zigbee, and Matter Module for eisy (Z-Wave+ Certified - Long Range) - Universal Devices (universal-devices.com)
  20. @DennisC My dryer is at the opposite end of the house and I'm never able to hear when the dryer stops, and I've also been looking for a solution. When you open or close the dryer door doesn't that cause the sensor to change states? Do you have to manually start a (isy) program everytime you start the dryer?
  21. In your previous post your SSID is showing "Elan Guest Wi-Fi", so I thought you were on the router's guest network. A guest network only allows access to the internet, and not to any devices connected to the router. Is your eisy currently connected to the router via ethernet? If so are you able to access via the IoX Launcher?
  22. If you're trying to connect to your guest network rather than your primary network that could be your problem. Both your computer and your eisy should be on your primary network. Generally speaking, it not a good idea to have a network that isn't password protected.
  23. @John Chen Right click on the devices you're having issues with, then click on restore device. Did that correct the problem?
  24. @John Chen Adding to @IndyMike conclusion, I've attached a trouble shooting article. It was written for X10 but it's also applicable to Insteon. Powerline noise.pdf
  25. I don't have an exact answer for you, but 130 degrees could take a toll on the electronics. Generally speaking the recommended maximum temperature for electronics is 95 degrees fahrenheit to ensure longevity and optimal performance. Being that the dongle is enclosed in a metal enclosure there's no pathway for the heat to disperse. It's possible that the dongle temperature could exceed the attic temperature. If you need better range you could add a Zwave 700 series repeater.
