    Tutorial

I'm using the edge browser and am able to access the eisy config page. It's possible that a setting in your browser is blocking the access This is the page that should come up, then click on advanced to access the config data

Which browser are you using. It should work with the edge browser. Also take a look at your router to verify the eisy's IP address
  3. There's no way for the controller to know if the Aeotec device has been unplugged. You could try writing a program to monitor the voltage node. You would probably first have to do a query then look at the voltage. If the voltage is less than 100 then have it send you a notification. The above should hopefully work.
  4. If the only issue is fast on / fast off, then it may be a timing issue with your button presses. I've noticed that The timing can vary between different controllers. I.e. the Polisy, with a faster processor, responds differently than the ISY994 Are you seeing the admin console display the correct device status when you turn a switch on or off? What's the current firmware and UI of your Polisy

In your browser enter: eisy ip address /web/sysconfig.txt i.e. 192.168.150/web/sysconfig.txt
  6. Post a copy of the program in question
  7. There was an earlier firmware version bug that disabled the programs. it has since been fixed.
  8. If the PLM is 8 years old it could be failing. Usually it's the PLM power supply that fails. Is the green led on the PLM lit, if not then it's time to replace it. What's the 4 digit date code on the PLM, and what is its firmware version? The newer PLMs have newer firmware and upgraded internal components that are less likely to fail. If you decide to replace the PLM be sure to follow the attached procedure Another possibility is that you have noise on the powerline that's interfering with the Insteon signal. It could be from recently added electricial devices or a device that's failing. Replace PLM.pdf
  9. If you're not using the old lock it's probably best to remove it by putting the lock into the linking mode then EXCLUDE IT from your installed Zwave devices, and then remove its batteries. Some Zwave devices, when installed, create nodes that may not be applicable to your controller. What most of us do is create a folder in the device tree called Unused Zwave nodes, and move the unused node into that folder.
  10. All references to your old PLM will be removed from the devices and replaced with the new PLM Your node servers shouldn't be affected. Let me know what happens, be sure to exactly follow the replace plm procedure
  11. @Merlin Take a look at your error log (you can ignore all the 170001 entries) I don't know what those entries are in your event log, I never seen them before. Keep the UPS plugged into the filter as a UPS is notorious for interferring with Insteon signals. If you click on DIAGNOSTICS, PLM INFO, does it show the PLM as connected?
  12. @alixer I think your main problem is that the new PLM address didn't get written to some or all of your devices. At this point the only suggestion I have left is to do a "REPLACE PLM" procedure following the instructions I sent you earlier.
  13. @alixer Click on TOOLS, DIAGNOSTICS, PLM INFO STATUS. What address does it show for your PLM?
  14. @alixer When you replaced your PLM did you exactly follow the "replace PLM procedure", see attached. I think this is where your problem exists., Replace PLM.pdf
  15. Did you try the factory reset on the switch? Is the switch a dual band device? Did you recently add any new electronics on the same circuit as the switch? What's the firmware version of the switch?
  16. Your issue appears to be with the timing on the double off presses as everything else is normal. One other thing you can try is doing a factory reset on the switch then a restore device. To do a factory reset, pull out the set button, wait a few seconds then push the button in and hold it in. The switch will beep. Do not let go of the button until the beeping stops. The load should then turn on.
  17. Right click on the switch, click on Diagnostics, then click on Show Device Links Table. After the link table fully populates click on Compare. Does it then show any mismatched links?
  18. Right click on the program that was supposed to run, then click on status. That will show you the last run time. Regarding restoring the PLM, do you see any red explanation points or a 1011 to the left of a device name? If not then the restore was prabably successful. How many programs and/or devices are you having issues with? Be sure to do a backup any time you make a program or a device addition or correction
  19. At this point it's best not to attempt any further interactions with the Polisy as you might create more issues. Usually UDI responds to support tickets within 24 hours. In the meantime you should clean up any issues with the ISY994 as you don't want to migrate them over to the Polisy. Can you elaborate on the issues you're having with the ISY994.
  20. UDI supports the Polisy and the EISY, the ISY994 is no longer supported. There's no charge for technical support for the UDI products. There's really nothing to transfer unless you subscribe to the UD Portal which is required if you want to interface with some 3rd party products Be sure to factory reset any used products you obtain.
  21. Then it's best to submit a support ticket https://www.universal-devices.com/my-tickets
  22. The current firmware version is 5.8.0. Try removing power from the Polisy for about a minute then let it boot up, then click on upgrade packages again.
  23. When you clear your java cache you need to check all 3 boxes. When the cache clears it will delete the IoX Launcher from your desktop Then download the IoX launhcher from this link: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp If you click on help about, what is are your firmware and UI versions Some of the early Polisys require a bios uipdate, you may need to open a support ticket if you're still hsaving issues.
  24. I just took a look at my programs that are scheduled to run at sunset. The next schedued run time is correct based on the actual sunset time. So it appears that the admin console is displaying the incorrect time and the programs themselves are actually running based on the correct (sunrise) / sunset time. Note: I had rebooted prior to viewing my runtimes, so I'm not sure if the reboot had any effect.
