  1. What is your EISY firmware and UI versions Did you download the launcher as mentioned in my previous post? Exactly what is not working in your programs, can you give more detail
  2. It's possible the thunderdstorm caused a voltage surge that did some damage. If the green led on the PLM is not lit, then most likely the internal power supply in the PLM has failed. For now, don't focus on the network jack leds It sounds like your SD card may have also failed. Remove power from the ISY, then remove the SD card and clean the contacts with a soft eraser and re-insert it. After the ISY boots up, are you able to access the ISY from the admin console? If so, can you see your devices and programs?
  3. Front Panel LEDs/Lights Boot up sequence: Power, RX&TX, momentary blink of Memory/RX and TX, and then Power only Only Power Light Is On: Most probably power supply related. You can try any power supply that outputs anywhere between 5 volt and 30 volts, center positive, 2mm barrel connector Error light and Memory light blinking simultaneously: ISY is not able to get on the network. Please ensure: The Network jack on the back of ISY is connected to your router The lights on the Network jack have one steady on and the other one blinking. If not, check cable and connectivity to the router Your router provides DHCP There are no other devices on the network with the same IP address (IP Conflict) If you have configured your ISY to use DHCP, then you will have to search your network for devices that might be in the same DHCP range as your router is providing If you have configured your ISY with a static IP address, and as long as you have a good backup, you can Factory Reset your ISY and then restore a good backup (File | Restore ISY). Once prompted to change the network settings, choose No Only Error light blinking: ISY cannot communicate with the SD Card. Please ensure: The micro SD Card (on the front) is seated properly. Unplug ISY, remove the rubber cap, using a sharp object, push the micro SD Card in so that it pops out. Push it back in so it clicks in. Apply power to ISY If reseating the micro SD Card does not work, you probably have a defective SD Card. Please consult Replacing/Formatting SD Card
  4. You shouldn't need to delete any programs, however you may need to tweak a few. Clear your java cache, be sure to check all 3 boxes, then download the IoX Launcher https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp If this doesn't resolve your issue, then give a more detailed explaination of what isn't working.

No. It allows you to access the eisy remotely using a secure connection.

  8. @Javi In a scene I have a lampllnc dimmer (controller) and a KPL button. If I turn off the dimmer from ud mobile the KPL button, and the scene, don't turn off, but if I turn off the dimmer from the admin console then the KPL button, and the scene, turn off. Shouldn't ud mobile turn off the scene, including the kpl button, if a device (controller) in the scene is turned off?
  9. I noticed that when I turn a device, that's a controller in a scene, on or off not all of the devices in that scene respond accordingly. If I turn the device on or off from the admin console all the devices in the scene properly respond.
  10. With the 6 button KPL, If you want the ON/OFF buttons led to turn off when the the load is off then set the on/off button to "Non toggle Off"
  11. The Insteon firmware doesn't have an option to set the led brightness on the individual KPL buttons. @maxnorth When you set the backlight level be sure to click on the "Blacklight" button after setting your levels. Make sure you Keypad button option is set to "toggle. If you set the levels to 1/0 the KPL leds should turn off when the button is off
  12. The eisy should automatically connect to the router after the router reboots. Are you using a reserved address for the eisy, it's possible that you have an address conflict in the router. Why are you rebooting your router so often?
  13. Yes, that's what I was referring to. Have you tried excluding and then including the sensor. When including it keep it in close proximity to your controller. What controller, Zwave dongle and firmware are you running?
  14. Correct, the solution is in this thread, posted on January 26th.
  15. @EJones01 The solution is in this thread Help with Aeotec Trisensor Setup - ZMatter - Universal Devices Forum (universal-devices.com)
  16. Check your ethernet cables and connections between the router and the eisy. If they're OK then you should probably open a support ticket.
  17. Yours is an isolated case. Have you tried rebooting your router. Are you usinng a reserved address for ther eisy in your router?
  18. During your previous install some of the links may not have been written. Glad you're back in business.
  19. One last thing to try, put the MS into the linking mode then from the tools menu run a Device link table diagnostic. After the links poipulate click on compare to see if you have any mismatched links
  20. All dual band devices act as repeaters. When you installed the MS II did you link it using the "Sensors" "Motion Sensor II" option in the linking menu What PLM are you using? The insteon signal emits from the PLM not the EISY. Are both sides of your power line bridged, you can verify that using the 4 tap test (see attached) 4 Tap test.pdf
  21. Being that the MS is working when close to the controller, the problem is not with the MS. You need a dual band plug-in device closer to the MS to act as a repeater. between the MS and the EISY.
  22. @twired You didn't previously mention that you swapped out you PLM. Did you follow the replace modem instructions (see attached). This was written for the ISY994 but also applies to the newer controllers. You propably don't have to delete your devices, you can probably just do a replace PLM procedure. Replace Modem.pdf
  23. Try doing a factory reset on the MS, then a restore device. Keep the MS fairly close to the Eisy during the restore
  24. You can run a Scene Diagnostic (Tools | Diagnostic | Scene test) This may pinpoint any issues with the scene. Post a screenshot of the results. It's also possible that there was a glitch durning migration which corrupted the link tables. Another option is to run a link table diagnostic on a device that is not supposed to be triggered by the scene (Tools | Diagnostic | Show device link Table) After the table populates, click on Compare which will show if there are any mismatched links between the Eisy and the Device.
  25. You can reloicate the Zmatter dongle using a standare USB cable You can find info and pictures here: UD Store - Universal Devices (universal-devices.com)
