  1. You can also try removing power from the eisy for about 15 seconds, then boot it up.
  2. Your IoX Launcher may not be current. Clear your java cache, be sure to check all 3 boxes, then download the IoX Launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp If this doesn't resolve your error then you may have to reinstall java.
  3. If you only have a few links in your PLM then the restore PLM procedure didn't work, i.e. the links in the ISY didn't get written to the PLM. Are you sure you ran "RESTORE MODEM (PLM)" from the file menu. If so, then do a restore devices Restore Devices Selecting this menu option starts the ISY to use the current configurations settings stored within ISY, and reprograms all the INSTEON devices based on them. Upon completion, this operation reboots ISY and closes Admin Console. This operation is most useful when a PLM is replaced or if INSTEON devices and their logical representations on ISY are out of synch. This scenario might happen if INSTEON devices are manually linked without using ISY’s GUI. Please follow the instructions below: If you are replacing a PLM: Please make sure you reboot ISY with the new PLM before doing anything else Click on File | Restore ISY and restore a good backup. If you are replacing a defective PLM, choose a backup from right before the PLM died. This is a very important step Once ISY reboots, wait for the query to complete If you have PRO series, click on the Battery icon on the top right corner of the tool bar. This prevents ISY from trying to restore battery operated devices since they are sleeping and will not respond Please make sure ISY is in Ready state Click on File | Restore Devices - this will take a long while In case ISY cannot communicate (or decides not to if an RF device/PRO Series) during the process, you will have a series of nodes with green 1011 icons in the device tree. For each one of those nodes: If an RF device, ensure that the device is in Programming mode Right mouse click | Write pending updates or Write updates to device... For some newer INSTEON devices, you might have to repeat this step a couple of times since some devices may not go into linking mode If you have PRO series, click on the battery icon on the toolbar so that ISY goes back to normal mode
  4. Did you follow the attached instructions for replacing the PLM? Replace Modem.pdf
  5. Is your SD card a high quality card. https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Extreme-UHS-I-Memory-SDSDXXO-032G-GN4IN/dp/B09X7G85JC/ref=sr_1_3?adgrpid=1330409634487280&hvadid=83150817084767&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=78757&hvnetw=o&hvqmt=e&hvtargid=kwd-83150948766349%3Aloc-190&hydadcr=18032_13442871&keywords=sandisk%2Bsd%2Bcard%2B32%2Bgb&qid=1703375318&sr=8-3&th=1
  6. Unplug them, and if you don't have any issues then store for a rainy day.
  7. @rayg Now would be a good time to replace your SD card with a high quality card as it's not unusual for the older SD cards to fail. Here's the instructions for replacing the card: ISY-99i/ISY-26 INSTEON:Replacing/Formatting an SD Card - Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki (universal-devices.com)
  8. Not sure if ther ISY will respond to a ping Try removing the SD card and clean its contacts with a soft eraser, this worked for me.
  9. @lionheartkc Try removing power from the eisy for about 15 seconds then let it boot up. If that doesn't work then it's possible that one of your loads on your modules is creating noise on the powerline which is interfering with the off command. Are all the modules involved all dual band? You can try disconnecting the modules, one at a time, to see if it may be causing issues.
  10. You need to keep the DHCP setting. It's possible the SD card got corrupted, if that's the case your backup date may also be invalid if you do a backup. What's you ISY firmware version? When you cleared your java cache did you check all 3 boxes? There are no old versions of the IoX launcher available. Did you download the IoX Launcher from here? https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp
  11. The firmware and instructions for installing it can be found here: 5.3.4 (ISY994) - Last release for ISY994 - Current Release Announcements - Universal Devices Forum (universal-devices.com) Be sure to read and follow the instructions exactly. The firmware should be downloaded to your desktop, it will be in the ZIP format. DO NOT unzip it. Note: I'm assuming that you do not have the 300 Series Zwave board installed.
  12. It's the same display for Aeotec. In this screen shot the Aeotec firmware version is 1.10
  13. @EWhite Your Zwave menu is not the current menu that displays with the Zmatter dongle. Either your Polisy bios or Polisy firmware is not up to date, or the Zmatter dongle wasn't installed properly. Is your Polisy an early version, if so it may need a bios update?
  14. @gzahar I'm seeing the same options as you. What device are you trying to install and is it Zwave certified?
  15. The Zmztter dongle is Zwave certified and supports S2 security. What device are you trying to install. Is it zwave certified and does it support S2, if not then you should select S0 security option when installing.
  16. The Zmatter dongle is powered by the eisy, you don't need an additional power supply
  17. Before you disconnect your zwave devices from your existing home you should EXCLUDE them from the zwave controller. After all your Zwave devices have been excluded you can then factory reset the Zmatter dongle. You then won't have to factory reset the Zwave devices.
  18. Being that you're basically starting over you should do a factory reset on your Zwave controller and on your Polisy. Any devices that you bring wjith you should be factory reset before installing them in your new home.
  19. You can just ignore the Binary sensor node. Sometimes extra nodes are created depending on the device and the Zwave controller. I created a folder and move unused nodes into that folder which unclutters the device table.
  20. 120 degrees is pushing the limit. Attics can exceed that temperature in the heat of the summer. The Zmatter dongle has a pretty good range. I have mine in an equipment closet with other electronics and don't have any issues.
  21. I believe the batteries are in parallel, If that's the case, then when the battery level is low it means both batteries need to be replaced or recharged
  22. Usually you should get a pop up that says your system is upgrading, after the upgrade is complete you should get a popup telling you to reboot Being thaat you're on 5.7.1_7 you have the current firmware. It's probably best to reboot your system.
  23. @ShawnW Could it be that the Zmatter dongle isn't seated properly. You may want to try removing and reseating it. Worst case scenario, the dongle is defective.
  24. The current firmware release is 5.7.1_7 What do you mean by "they keep swapping"? Are you using an external or internal Zmatter dongle?
  25. Run this link in your browser : eisy.local:8443/WEB/sysconfig.txt and look for the attached info
