Clear you java cache, be sure to check all 3 boxes, then download the IoX Launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp You shouldn't be extracting any zip files associated with the ISY

Eisy and Insteon Documentation
@schda12 Hi David You're asking for a 6 month course to be narrowed down to 30 minutes. A good place for you to start is the ISY Cookbook. It's not completely up to date but should contain answers to a lot of your questions. Here's the link: The ISY-994i Home Automation Cookbook (universal-devices.com) The troubleshooting section of the UDI Wiki should also prove helpful, i.e. INSTEON: Troubleshooting Communications Errors - Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki (universal-devices.com)

Eisy Audio Player
thank you, Michel mentioned that there should be an update next week which will allow us to upload our custom MP3 files in a zip format to the eisy

Eisy Audio Player
@Michel Kohanim Is it possible to add my own MP3 files to the directory where the default MP3 files are stored as I don't want to rely on the cloud or text to speech conversions for my text messages. I use Audacity to create the files. It's a great program and allows for editing etc. I'm still having issues getting bluetooth to work but it may be a compatibility issue with the devices I'm trying to use.

Audio Player Audio
I've paired the Audio Player with a bluetooth speaker and a bluetooth headset but I'm not getting any audio out of either bluetooth device. I've tried restarting the bluetooth service and the audio player to no avail, any suggestions? On occasion, when I try to play a file the audio player locks up and I have to restart it.

Programs not working after ISY994 to eisy migration
All my fast on / fast off triggered programs worked after my migration from the ISY994 to the Eisy. I did have a few issues with some programs and to resolve the issues I made a copy of the program (right click, copy) and then deleted the original and then deleted the word "copy" from the new program and saved it.

Old System Upgrade Guidance
Sorry, I have no idea. Can you do a file search for udi_tree.state which is one of the files

One other thing you can try doing is deleting the ISY temporary files. First close the admin console. They're located in the following directory: C:\(your user name)\AppData\Local\Temp You should see 5 files starting with UDI. Deleting them will not affect your configuration or programs, etc. They will be recreated next time you run the admin console

Light bulb native to EISY
Insteon no longer makes a lightbulb. If you have the Zmatter dongle then there are zwave bulbs available, do a search on Amazon

Old System Upgrade Guidance
I though you also had a Pollisy. In that case I'm not sure what could be causihng your issue. You can try removing power from the ISY, then remove the SD card and clean its contacts with a soft eraser. The final firmware version for the ISY994 was 5.3.4. Here are the release notes. Did you follow the procedures when you updated to 5.3.4? 5.3.4 (ISY994) - Last release for ISY994 - Current Release Announcements - Universal Devices Forum (universal-devices.com)

My only suggestion is to play with your browser settings. They may need a tweak. Try these security settings:

Is your issue is only with the ISY994?

Tutorial
I'm using the edge browser and am able to access the eisy config page. It's possible that a setting in your browser is blocking the access This is the page that should come up, then click on advanced to access the config data

Which browser are you using. It should work with the edge browser. Also take a look at your router to verify the eisy's IP address

No alert of unplugged Z-Wave device
There's no way for the controller to know if the Aeotec device has been unplugged. You could try writing a program to monitor the voltage node. You would probably first have to do a query then look at the voltage. If the voltage is less than 100 then have it send you a notification. The above should hopefully work.

Old System Upgrade Guidance
If the only issue is fast on / fast off, then it may be a timing issue with your button presses. I've noticed that The timing can vary between different controllers. I.e. the Polisy, with a faster processor, responds differently than the ISY994 Are you seeing the admin console display the correct device status when you turn a switch on or off? What's the current firmware and UI of your Polisy

In your browser enter: eisy ip address /web/sysconfig.txt i.e. 192.168.150/web/sysconfig.txt

failing PLM symptoms?
If the PLM is 8 years old it could be failing. Usually it's the PLM power supply that fails. Is the green led on the PLM lit, if not then it's time to replace it. What's the 4 digit date code on the PLM, and what is its firmware version? The newer PLMs have newer firmware and upgraded internal components that are less likely to fail. If you decide to replace the PLM be sure to follow the attached procedure Another possibility is that you have noise on the powerline that's interfering with the Insteon signal. It could be from recently added electricial devices or a device that's failing. Replace PLM.pdf

Got a new Zwave lock, disabled old, should I remove instead? (Plus phantom lock)
If you're not using the old lock it's probably best to remove it by putting the lock into the linking mode then EXCLUDE IT from your installed Zwave devices, and then remove its batteries. Some Zwave devices, when installed, create nodes that may not be applicable to your controller. What most of us do is create a folder in the device tree called Unused Zwave nodes, and move the unused node into that folder.

Old System Upgrade Guidance
All references to your old PLM will be removed from the devices and replaced with the new PLM Your node servers shouldn't be affected. Let me know what happens, be sure to exactly follow the replace plm procedure

Suddenly having issues with Insteon on my EISY
@Merlin Take a look at your error log (you can ignore all the 170001 entries) I don't know what those entries are in your event log, I never seen them before. Keep the UPS plugged into the filter as a UPS is notorious for interferring with Insteon signals. If you click on DIAGNOSTICS, PLM INFO, does it show the PLM as connected?
