More complex than that. 6.0.0 is a stable platform, there's really no reason to go back.
  2. From the eisy product page. The 2412S was not included so I assumed it was not supported
  3. Techman replied to tjkintz's topic in IoX Support
Yes, but it's not an easy reversal. There's really no reason to go back to 5.9.1.
  4. The 2412S PLM is not compatible with the eisy. Ideally you should use the 2413U USB PLM, however Insteon.com shows it as backordered with a due date of November, 2025. The advantage of the USB PLM is that you don't need an adapter cable, just a standard USB cable If you don't want to wait then the 2413S with the serial to USB adapter cable would be your second choice. Either way you need to follow the replace PLM instructions available in the UD Wiki.

  6. If you click on upgrade packages it will update your polisy to the latest available package for the polisy
  7. Techman posted a topic in eisy-ui
In the event you didn't receive UDI's email notice ---------------------------- A New Era Begins: eisy-ui Is Here! September 19, 2025 With OS 14.3 and IoX 6.0.0, we’re taking the first step toward a modern web-based interface. eisy-ui now starts by default. It’s not yet a full replacement for the Java Admin Console, but it already has the essentials, and your feedback will guide its evolution. For a limited time, upgrade from a 994 and get 13% off everything. Here's the link to the full article: A New Era Begins: eisy-ui Is Here! - Universal Devices - News
  8. In addition to @Geddy remarks, the UD Zwave Matter board data can be backed up whereas a 3rd party zwave dongle most likely will not have a backup feature supported by the eisy.
  9. @Will T Depending on the enviroment your ISY is located in the SD card contacts may oxidize over time. It's possible that the internal contacts also oxidized, and by sliding the SD card in and out several times may have reestablished the connection between the two.
  10. @mvgossman After restoring your ISY backup you need you need to clear your java cache and download the IoX Launcher again The eisy is far superior to the ISY994 which is no longer supported
  11. When you reset your data, exactly what did you do? When you cleared your java cache did you check all 3 boxes and then download the IoX Launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp
  12. @Will T Being that you now have a current backup it's probably a good idea to replace your SD card with a high quality 16 or 32 Gb card, especially if you plan on using your ISY for a while
  13. If you don't have a current backup then you'll probably lose your prgrams, etc. As a last resort try cleaning the contacts again Error light blinking: ISY cannot communicate with the SD Card. Please ensure: The micro SD Card (on the front) is seated properly. Unplug ISY, remove the rubber cap, using a sharp object, push the micro SD Card in so that it pops out. Push it back in so it clicks in. Apply power to ISY If reseating the micro SD Card does not work, you probably have a defective SD Card. Please consult Replacing/Formatting SD Card
  14. It sounds like your SD card, You should try removing and cleaning its contacts with a soft eraser again. The contacts have a tendency to oxidize. Ttake a look at this article. ISY-99i/ISY-26 INSTEON:Replacing/Formatting an SD Card - Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki
  15. Do you have a VPN, if so disable it. Do you see your your ISY in your router? Check your ISY power supply What happens when you try to access your ISY via the IoX Launcher using the LAN option, any error messages?
  16. @bmercier What's the current version of eisyui When do you think the next release date will be
  17. It's probably best to open a support ticket: https://www.universal-devices.com/my-tickets I
  18. On your eisy configuration tab, is the insteon box checked? What is the firmware version of your ISY994? Is your eisy connected via wifi or ethernet cable?
  19. Clear your java cache, be sure to check ll 3 boxes, then download the IoX Launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp You can also try removing power from the eisy for 30 seconds Let me know if this resolved your issues
  20. Techman replied to tjkintz's topic in IoX Support
No visible enhancements. Most likely geared towards eisy-ui
  21. Techman replied to tjkintz's topic in IoX Support
    Yes, it's still being refined
  22. Techman replied to tjkintz's topic in IoX Support
I don't think it has been formally released yet
  23. Techman replied to smorgasbord's topic in Insteon
Another option is to use an outdoor sensor that measures LUX. When the sky clouds up the lux will drop.
  24. Techman replied to smorgasbord's topic in Insteon
You could invest in a weather station that's more sensitive to rain such as the Tempest. The problem is that a light drizzle will probably go unnoticed
  25. Techman replied to tjkintz's topic in IoX Support
Yes, your firmware is current 6.0.0. This is the latest release Make sure your Zigbee abnd Zwave antennas are connected to the correct connectors, if they're reversed it will cause communications issues. You can also try removing power from the eisy for about 30 seconds
