Are you wanting to use it as a motion sensor or a sensor to detect light in the room?

Can't change LED status on 2844-222 Insteon Motion Sensor II

You might want to submit a bug report to UDI support -
Can't change LED status on 2844-222 Insteon Motion Sensor II

I only have the older motion sensors so I can't test it with the Polisy. Hopefully someone on the forum can let you know if it's a device issue or a Polisy bug. -
Can't change LED status on 2844-222 Insteon Motion Sensor II

Try removing the battery from the sensor, wait about 30 seconds then try a factory reset, restore device. -

When you try to make changes do you see the admin console writing updates to the sensor? -
Have you tried adding an audio message to the SD card?

Many thanks for the update. I ordered one, should have it tomorrow.

Ideally, the replacement power supply should be rated at 12 volts, 1.5 amps,

Battery (Leak and Motion) devices stop reporting status
Techman replied to ISY4Me's topic in IoX Support
Put your battery operated devices into the linking mode and then do a restore device. Only one battery operated device should be in the linking mode at any one time. After you do the restore device push the set button to take the device out of linking mode, the led should then stop flashing. -
Highly unlikely the ISY failed. If you're sure the power supply is working, then you can also try removing power from the ISY, then remove the SD card and clean the contacts with a soft eraser.

The serial cable, with the DB9 connector, that shipped with the 2413S PLM is black and thinner than an Ethernet cable.
-
@roberthleeii When you move your serial PLM over to the Polisy from the ISY you'll also need the serial cable that shipped with the PLM. The PLM MUST connect to the DB9 connector on the Polisy. If you don't have the cable there are cables available online.

Program help needed and switches not working

Do you have the two switches in a scene? If not, create a scene and place both switches in the scene as controllers Which switch is the bulb getting its power from, the one that works or the other one? On the switch that's not supplying power to the bulb, the red lead should be capped off. -
@btreinders What firmware and UI version are you running on the Polisy Are use using the Zooz ZST10 700 USB dongle, and not the 500?

Upon completion of a factory reset on a switch the load should turn on, if it didn't then either you didn't do a factory reset or the switch and/or wiring is problematic. Click on the link below for access to 5.3.4. It will be a manual update. Even though it says it's a beta release, it is the best release to date. Be sure to READ all the release notes before you do the update. -

@LMcGrath Firmware version 4.7.3, which is what you said you're using, is an old, outdated version. If you're not using Zwave and only using Insteon then you should update to the current ISY firmware version 5.3.4. Be sure to read the installation notes BEFORE you update. This release contains improvements and bug fixes. After the update be sure to clear your Java cache, including applications and then download the ISY Launcher. -
To find the firmware version of the Z-wave dongle, set your event viewer to level 3 and click on Z-wave | Z-wave version in the admin console. The firmware version will then display in the event viewer.

Do a factory reset on the switch, then do a restore device. -
There's no interaction between the ISY and the Polisy so one has no effect on the other unless you reset your PLM What is your ISY firmware and UI version? Make sure that your PLM is plugged into Port A on the ISY Remove the power from the PLM, remove power from the ISY Then power up the PLM, wait about 30 seconds then power up the ISY Let me know if it's now working.

Program #1 IF Time is Sunset THEN turn on light ELSE ------------------------- Program #2 IF Time is 10:00 pm THEN turn off light ELSE If your switches don't turn on the light when you manually press them then you most likely have them wired incorrectly For the switch that works manually, but not with the computer, either you have a communications issue between the PLM and the switch or your admin console is not set up correctly Assuming that you have an ISY994, What version of the ISY firmware and UI are you running? -
Do an exclude / include. Start with the device closest to the Polisy and work out from there. If the devices are included in programs, make sure you have a list as you will probably have to update the programs after the exclude/include process. Currently there's no migration option to move Z-wave devices from the ISY to the Polisy, the only option is to exclude from the ISY, then include in the Polisy

It could be a glitch in the MyQ server or the Node server. I'd contact the node server developer to see if they are aware of any issues. It's probably going to be a process of elimination.
-
I'm not that familiar with MyQ, how does it interface with the ISY?
-
Try doing a factory reset on the switch, then a restore device.
