  1. @j.rieff Here's the link to release announcements. Current Release Announcements - Universal Devices Forum (universal-devices.com) After an update you'll now get a popup window asking you to clear your Java cache
  2. The ISY should work without Internet as long as you have a working LAN and don't use the cloud. You'll need to access the ISY from the IoX launcher using the Admin Console option.
  3. Make a current backup of the ISY, you'll need this if you have to replace your PLM. It's possible that the power supply in the PLM is failing, the older PLMs have a habit of failing after a few years. 10 years on the same PLM is unusual. Insteon is supposed to have new PLMs in stock this month. There are also PLM repair options, from Insteon, and a vendor on ebay. F.Y.I., the ISY has been discontinued and replaced with the EISY. Support for the ISY will no longer be available from UD in a few months.
  4. Clear your Java cache files, be sure to check all 3 boxes, then download the IoX launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp You should now have the eisy showing in the launcher
  5. It's possible that your PLM has failed. Unplug it for about 5 minutes, Remove power from the ISY. Power up the PLM, wait about 15 seconds, and then power up the ISY. When you power up the ISY do you get flashing leds on the front panel?
  6. Remove power from your eisy, wait about a minute then power it back up.
  7. @cwhite951 In the admin console, click on TOOLS | DIAGNOSTICS | PLM STATUS, does it show the PLM as connected? Then click on SYSTEM STATUS, and post a screen shot of the status window. It's possible that your SD card has failed and may need to be replaced. The DNS failure might be due to a network issue between the ISY and your router. Check your ethernet cable. Don't try resetting your PLM as it might further complicate your troubleshooting.
  8. Can you access your ISY via the admin console? Have you tried removing power from the ISY to reboot it? Is the green power light on your PLM on?
  9. It's possible that the PLM cable failed. Are you using the cable that shipped with the PLM?
  10. Try removing power from the eisy for a few minutes. If that doesn't work then it's possible that the cable might be defective.
  11. Is the "Insteon Support" box checked on your eisy configuration tab?
  12. I only have the Zcombo. You should probably open or update your support ticket.
  13. Which smoke detectors are you having an issue with? When I upgraded to 3.1.23 the Zcombo smoke detectors continued to display their status.
  14. @JTsao If, after upgrading your packages, you're unable to access PG3, remove power from your eisy/polisy, then power it back up. This was a known issue which was supposed to fixed in the latest firmware update, but I noticed that it appears to still be an issue.
  15. Same link as prior versions. https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp
  16. First Alert ZCombo is now correctly displaying status, thanks Chris.
  17. Techman replied to teverk's topic in eisy
@teverk If you're using the serial PLM (2413S) then you would need the serial to USB conversion cables, which are available on the UD Store website. If you have a USB PLM (2413U) then it can be plugged directly into the USB port using a standard USB cable.
  18. @toddlock Remove power from the eisy, then power it back up. That should fix it. It's a known bug.
  19. Battery operated devices have to be awake before you can write the configuration changes to it, or to query the configuration status. Not sure about the Zooz devices walking up every 12 hours A while back we used a program to write changes to a battery operated device. Not sure if this still works with the current firmware. You could set the program to be active for a limited time frame so it would not always be trying to write to the device. This worked for pending link writes, not sure if it would work for configuration updates as they don't show as pending writes. IF Device is switched on THEN Write changes
  20. @GreyFox Please read my post above. Did you read the update instructions before you updated your firmware?
  21. The RED line indicates that the last time the program ran the ELSE clause executed. If the THEN clause ran then the line would be GREEN. Not sure why the "run at startup" is enabled on all your programs as it has to be manually enabled. It's possible that your UI and firmware don't match, if so, this can cause unusual results. If you click on help about, what are your firmware and UI versions. What was your firmware version prior to the update?
  22. @GFrazier Battery operated devices won't respond to a query unless you first wake them up. Reason being is that they go into a sleep mode to preserve battery life.
  23. Try sending an email to support@universal-devices.com
  24. @Wes Westhaver Click on help, manage modules. There should be an option to purchase the network module (which is a software update).
  25. @Geddy Here's the spec sheet for the ZRTSI. The only downside is it uses the 300 series chip Somfy ZRTSI.pdf
