Added First Z-wave - wow, lots of Z-waves!
The additional Z-wave nodes are due to an anomaly between the Z-wave device and your controller. As oskrypuch mentioned, create a folder and move the nodes you aren't using into that folder, that way you won't see them.

ISY & Java (Windows 11 64bit)
Try clearing your Java cache, including applications, then download the ISY launcher. If that doesn't resolve the problem then you may need to also install the 32 bit Java, which is Version 8, Update 331.

Help Please. Unable to link I/O device to IoP
Your IOLinc is a fairly recent version. Your hex address is clear, so there's no chance of any digits being misread. Delete the device from the ISY Do a factory reset on the device by unplugging it, then hold down the set button while you plug it in. After a few seconds you'll get a long beep, continue holding in the set button until the beep stops. In the admin console go to Link management, New Insteon device. type in the 6 digit hex address and click OK. The ISY should auto discover and install the correct device.

Need Help, Just updated Firmware on my ISY 994i Zw Pro from 4.9.0 to 5.3.4 and programs don't run.
First try rebooting the ISY. Did you follow the upgrade instructions? Upgrading to this version may require a lot of manual intervention including verifying scenes, programs and program settings are correct. In some cases it will be easier to rebuild your network.

Help Please. Unable to link I/O device to IoP
Did you do a factory reset on the IOLinc before you tried to link it? "Cannot determine Insteon engine”, means the PLM is unable to communicate with the device. If you linked it to the ISY using a different device type, there could be unforeseen consequences. Open/close sensor is a battery operated device and should not be used to link a hardwired device. What is the address of your IOLinc xx.xx.xx, as it's possible you may have typed in the wrong address. It's easy to misconstrue the 8 and B

What are all the extra devices?
Sometimes you end up with extra nodes when you install a new Z-wave device. It's an anomaly between the ISY and Z-wave devices. You can create a new folder, call it unused nodes, and park those unused nodes in the folder.

ISY994i zwave 500: NWI/NWE - not working. Does the repeater need to support NWI/NWE or is it transparent?
What is your ISY firmware and UI version? What z-Wave dongle are you using, 300, 500 I've found that the repeater should be about 20 feet from the ISY as the ISY Z-wave dongle doesn't have an external antenna which can reduce the coverage area of the signal. Not sure about the NWI/NWE option. You could send an email to Aeotec support, they are very responsive. Also make sure you have the latest firmware updates for you Z-wave devices.

setting up polisys/insteon
The restore option is not applicable when you're moving over from the Hub. You need to treat this as a brand-new install. You should factory reset all your devices and the PLM then Install them one at a time Here's the Polisy instructions: Polisy:User Guide - Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki (universal-devices.com) Make sure that your polisy firmware and your UI are the same version. Take a look at the attached ISY Cookbook, it should answer most of your questions. If you still have questions someone is always here on the forum to answer them. ISY Cookbook.pdf

Polisy and a USB hub
This is what some of us are using. It frees up the second usb port and moves the Zwave dongle to a better location: USB 3.0 Adapter 90 Degree Male to Female Combo Vertical Up and Down Angle Coupler Connector by Oxsubor : Electronics (amazon.com) Not sure the Polisy would support a wi-fi adapter but the pro version has built-in wi-fi. You could also use the Polisy's network resources to talk to wi-fi enabled devices.

Water Leak Sensors
Set up your leak sensors as you would any other battery-operated device. Put the sensor into linking mode then click on New Insteon device in the linking window of the admin console. It will auto discover the device. Make sure only one battery operated device is in the linking mode at any one time or you could get corrupted links
