  1. The PLM was manufactured in the 46th week of 2016. It's possible that it has capacitors that are failing. Unfortunately, PLMs are difficult to find. Most of the forum members are either replacing the components or sending the PLM out to someone for repair. Hopefully someone who has had theirs repaired can chime in with more details When you power cycle the ISY and PLM. First plug in the PLM, wait about 15 seconds then power up the ISY You can also try doing a restore device on one of your problem devices to see if that resolves the problem.
  2. If you click on "help | about" in the admin console what shows as your UI and firmware versions? What is the 4 digit date code and version number on your PLM? It's possible that your PLM might be failing, or that the power supply for the ISY is failing. Take a look at your error log to see if there's anything related to your issue.
  3. Yes, the ISY recognized them. Click on default sound and you should see all the numbered files on the SD card. Mine goes up to 52 I had to reformat the SD card to FAT16 in order to get it to work properly. ------------------------ From the manual "SD-Card - To override the built-in sounds via the SD-Card format an SD-card with a FAT16 filesystem. The sounds on the SD card must start with a decimal number followed by the name of the sound with a .wav file extension. The encoding for the wav file must be mono.
  4. If you're still having issues, unplug the Ecolink from the AC power then plug it back in. I've added, and numbered, my custom sounds 31 to 42 and also overwrote some of the default sounds. Mine works without any issues using the following: Supported Sound Files File Extension: .wav Channels: - Mono Sample Rate 8 kHz Sample 16-bit PCM
  5. It's possible that your Zooz controller is the problem. I would call Zooz technical support. The ZST10 has a 5 year warranty. It doesn't sound like the problem is with the Polisy I believe others on the forum have had to replace defective ZST10s
  6. @btreinders Is your Polisy firmware and Bios current? What are you using for your Z-wave controller? Do the same devices always disappear? If you manually reboot the Polisy do the devices disappear?
  7. Check your power supply, and all your cables
  8. Take a look at Amazon, their cup runneth over with them. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=2gb+sd+card&crid=2ZG6OSRUWTC0K&sprefix=2gb+sd+card%2Caps%2C127&ref=nb_sb_noss_1
  9. Changing to 6-Button Configuration 1) Replace the 8-button plate with the 6-button plate - Attach the change-out plate to the switch body by aligning the tabs and snapping into place 2) Gently pull the Set button out as far as it will go 3) Wait 10 seconds 4) While simultaneously holding the On and Off buttons, carefully push the Set button back in, flush with the trim frame 5) Once the Set button is pushed in, continue holding the On and Off buttons for 3 seconds, and then release KeypadLinc will (Beep) KeypadLinc is now in 6 Button Mode Changing to 8-Button Configuration 1) Replace the 6-button plate with the 8-button plate - Attach the change-out plate to the switch body by aligning the tabs and snapping into place 2) Gently pull the Set button out as far as it will go 3) Wait 10 seconds 4) While simultaneously holding the On/Off (upper left-most) button and the H button, carefully press the Set button back in flush with the trim frame 5) Once the Set button is pushed in, continue holding the On/Off button and H buttons for 3 seconds, and then release KeypadLinc will (Beep) KeypadLinc is now in 8 Button Mode
  10. Did you convert the switch from a 6 button to an 8 button. If so, the factory reset will convert it back to a 6 button switch and you need to reconfigure it back to the 8-button mode.
  11. The disc is the piezo buzzer. Did you try doing a factory reset on the switch? Not sure what button you're referring to when you say "pushing the first button does nothing" The large top button should turn the relay on, and the large bottom button should turn the relay off.
  12. Take a look at your event log to see if the IOLinc is receiving multiple on/off commands. If you don't see more than one command then it could be spurious powerline signals such as the gate motor that's creating noise on the powerline.
  13. @GQuack Attached are the Onkyo ISCP codes in excel format. Your receiver isn't listed but the codes still may work. Give it a try. Onkyo ISCP PROGRAMMING CODES.xlsx
  14. @GQuack I believe that he is no longer supporting or developing the node server. I use network resources to control my Onkyo. If you search the forum, you'll find info on controlling the receiver via your network resources. What model Onkyo do you have?
  15. The cable you ordered is not the correct cable. You need the PLM serial cable from smartenit, link is below PLM Serial Cable - Smartenit
  16. "Cannot determine Insteon engine" is usually associated with poor communications between the device and the PLM. As suggested above, make sure the sensor is in the linking mode. Also try bringing the sensor closer to the PLM
  17. When you downloaded the new version of the ISY finder did you first clear your java cache including checking the box "all installed applications" I have Java 8 ver 341 on windows 10 and the launcher works without issues.
  18. Techman replied to cmerlino's topic in ISY994
@cmerlino Take a look at this link https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=INSTEON_Random_All_On_Events An all on, or on event won't show up in the ISY log, so this might be your issue.
  19. I have no problem reaching the store. UD Store - Universal Devices (universal-devices.com)
  20. Is the smoke bridge currently linked to the HUB or the ISY? If it was once linked to the HUB and then linked to the ISY did you factory reset it before you linked it to the ISY?
  21. @Sachelis Internet Explorer was discontinued on June 15, 2022 and is no longer supported by Microsoft. Microsoft's current browser is Microsoft Edge
  22. @Geddy The OP in his original post stated he was using the Polisy, there was no mention of the ISY994. So I guess there was a bit of confusion.
  23. @Snibley You're attempting to update the Polisy from PG2 which has been depreciated. Instead, you should use the admin console, Under System | Upgrade packages. Also, if your "upgrade bios" is not greyed out then you need to upgrade that as well. ,
  24. @Snibley The only update option in the admin console I have under system is "Upgrade Packages". Is that what you're referring to? Exactly where does the green bar appear?
  25. Out of curiosity, where did you see the green bar? I've never had one, even when I've had pending updates. When I click on updates the admin console shuts down and then the Polisy updates.
