  1. Now do a reboot and see if it returns... For me the 6X appears to work but returns on reboot.
  2. Let us know what you find out, thanks!
  3. Thanks, Michel was refers to the 3rd light blinking but mine is a fast 1st light blinking. Maybe I'm not understanding.
  4. Any clue what the far left LED flashing fast mean?
  5. @kzboray Just curious, have you checked the event viewer for repeated communication attempts by the controller to talk to the device? Asking because my "slowness" was actually just the Status taking a couple of seconds to update. Adding a program to monitor for Hail fixed the problem. My zooz stick is on the latest fw (thanks to you) and I haven't seen any noticeable performance improvement.
  6. I've been looking at this device, so this is helpful. I have a wall switch with power (previous owner's reno) but it doesn't actually control anything so something like this could be useful. I find slow response times annoying, I wonder what's causing it?
  7. Just the UD Mobile app, I think you're right. Thanks!
  8. My ISY Error Log is full of these and a Forum search didn't turn up anything. -170001 [UDSockets] HTTP:43 error:6 I seem to remember -170001 is Informational. Thanks!
  9. @macjeff - kzboray wrote a nice summary on how to upgrade below. I had to guess at a couple of install steps, but they made sense so things went pretty much per the instructions. The main difference was that when doing the "Install by Technology Type" I selected "32-Bit and Wireless MCU's" Not all. This seems to have worked as I was able to do the update and under "Tools" Z-Wave PC Controller" is an option. Here are the steps I took. These are from memory, so I may have missed a step or two, but this should get you most of the way there. 1.) Register an account with Silicon Labs 2.) Install Simplicity Studio https://www.silabs.com/developers/simplicity-studio 3.) Accept the License and log in using the credentials you created 4.) Click "Install" and Select "Install by Technology Type" 5.) Check "32-Bit and Wireless MCU's" then click "Next" (This will take a few minutes to complete.) 6.) Select "Auto" & Accept the license agreement 7.) Open Simplicity Studio and click on "Tools" 8.) Select "Z-Wave PC Controller" and install the new firmware I tested and these steps are correct. That said, I also had problems upgrading initially because of a bad Zooz adapter. Zooz is kindly replacing. Regarding the Zooz 7.17 fw, I haven't noticed any difference from 7.15.
  10. Thanks, I gather it's a legacy thing as I found this regarding Hail THIS COMMAND CLASS HAS BEEN OBSOLETED New implementations MUST report local state updates via the Lifeline Association Group or use dedicated Command Classes for application specific purposes. My GE switch doesn't use Hail and Status is updated properly.
  11. @K-bert thanks that for information, working for me too. @Michel Kohanim I wonder can this be built into Polisy code? I hope I don't have to write a Hail Query for every Z-Wave device. (maybe it's on the list ?)
  12. @MWareman I had exactly the same thought. So I'm currently running Zooz and Insteon dongles on my Polisy and everything is working perfectly.
  13. mmb replied to TJF1960's topic in Polisy
@jkosharek I'm curious to know what you are using now for home alarm?
  14. I see the same unrecognized message but I haven't upgraded. I'm still on Zooz 7.15
  15. I was actually wondering if I should do a factory reset of the Zooz from the Policy to fix my updating problem. I submitted a ticket to Zooz and they're stumped.
  16. I see, my setup is Blue Iris to monitor motion and it sends triggers to my ISY which turns on an Insteon light switch then after 5 minutes or so it turns off. Of course you can turn on the lights as usual with the switch. Recordings are in full color thanks to the light. I wasn't clear if the motion switch was in the light like the type you can get at HomeDepot. If so should be fine.
  17. I'm not sure what you're trying to do? What's the purpose of the relay? To have light when there's no motion?
  18. Sensors I use operate at low voltage which could be used to power the low voltage side of a relay. The high voltage side of the relay would be used to power the light.
  19. Those are the steps I followed, just to be clear on Step 8 you selected OTW and zwave controller then picked up the file? Also I didn’t do the Network/Add bit.
  20. Thanks, my Tools panel is identical to yours. It’s only after using OTW and the error that the background is greyed out. When I click Ok on the error it goes back to normal.
  21. I wish the process was more complicated then I would have something to blame, but really all it involves is clicking a button. I’ll try again tomorrow…
  22. That was my first thought but SS reported my Zooz at 7.15 and I think the upgrade Nadler provided is 7.17. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Maybe I'm wrong. ------------------------------------------------------------------------
  23. Thanks, it would be interesting to see the release notes.
  24. I posted on another thread that I tried the update but there was an error in the update file.
