Moving back from Indigo
For the PLM, you would need to do a restore modem. Here is what UD says about ZWave: Z-Wave Our Original Z-Wave implementation is the certified version of Z-Wave on the ISY-994. This code was ported to Eisy / Polisy, but is being deprecated in favor of our new more functional implementation called ZMatter Z-Wave. The original implementation on Eisy / Polisy can use generic Z-Wave controllers such as the Zooz stick, or, it can use the ZMatter Z-Wave controller (either board or USB dongle). The ZMatter Z-Wave implementation can only use the ZMatter Z-Wave controller (either board or USB dongle). However, without a proper backup (possibly a migration backup) this will not restore any programs you might require.

So much happier after moving off 994i - moving was worth it!
The only time you might have a program issue is if the ZWave address changes.

migrating from isy994 to polyisy didn't get past first step IoX not running missing python modules
Let's start from the beginning, since some of the procedure you spelled out doesn't agree with instructions. You will want to follow the directions below exactly as written. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Eisy:User_Guide#Migration Since you are already having issues, I suggest powering down, removing power, than restarting both units. Looks like your ISY994 firmware is current, so make a complete backup. Your Polisy needs to be updated, so go to Configuration tab and select upgrade. Note, this is the current way to upgrade now. If you have trouble upgrading Polisy and since you indicated you have a very early unit, you might require UD assistance for the Polisy upgrade, but try the process first. If Polisy upgrades, complete a backup and then follow the instructions I posted the link for. You will need to follow the migration instructions, not just moving things over and expecting everything to work. If you run in to trouble, post exactly what you did, any errors, and your exact issue.

Portal Continuously Disconnecting
Suggest opening a support ticket as I don't recall seeing that error code before. Think you will need UD's input.

Insteon Lamplinc not reliable after Zmatter migration
Are you running the latest firmware, v5.6.2? If not, try upgrading.

ZMatter USB Installation Steps?
Since you are starting a new ZWave installation, you need to add your devices from scratch. Be sure to exclude before including a ZWave device. When you are done installing ZWave devices, go to the top level menu and do a complete ZWave backup, followed by a eisy backup under the file menu.

Lost all PG3X nodes
If restarting PG3x doesn't work, try shutting down and removing power for a minute and then restarting. I have seen where removing power makes a difference.

Open Weather values
Did you restart the admin console afterwards? Are you sure you completed all entries on the configuration tab correctly? Are there any error messages in node server log or PG3 log? If all else fails, try rebooting.

Lost all PG3X nodes
Try restarting PG3x, if that doesn't work, then try rebooting.

Trying to upgrade Polisy / PG3
Follow the advice from @kzboray and let us know if that doesn't work for you. Some Polisy units running v5.4.5 had another issue that prevented upgrading.

ISY994i Issues
Reboot ISY and try again, clearing Java cache and downloading a new start.jnlp.

Cant Login pg3
Sorry, I'm still not clear, are you seeing the popup login box for the portal and can you successfully log in to your portal account? Your portal credentials do not go on the PG3x login screen, there should be a popup that appears for the portal login. Maybe attach a screenshot, just to be sure we are talking about the same thing.

Cant Login pg3
Let's backup a moment. After accessing the PG3x login screen on eisy, you first need to login in with your UD portal credentials. The login screen for this should pop up, if it doesn't, check your browser settings. After successfully logging in to the portal, you can then login to PG3x, using the same credentials as for the admin console. Now, where exactly is your login failing?

Automation works, no ping
Glad you are up and running. The current unit is called eisy and is available in the UD store.

Automation works, no ping
Best wishes on your health issues. For confirmation, you are using an ISY 994, correct? You should be accessing your ISY via the Launcher, please follow these directions: Installing the Admin Console Icon on Your Desktop It's always best to use the Admin Console application which is browser independent. To do this: Clear your java cache Use the ISY Launcher to launch the Admin Console. This should put an icon on your desktop once you run the downloaded start.jnlp file. When you click on the Launcher icon, if it doesn't find your ISY, you can add your IP address manually. Try both http & https. Example: ISY994: http://1.2.3.4/desc (replace 1.2.3.4 with the actual IP of ISY in the router) If you still can not get in, you will need to troubleshoot the issue, you can start here (note: there are some different steps for mac users): https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Changed_ISP.2FRouter_-_Can_no_longer_access_ISY I do not suggest you perform a factory reset at this time. You can try removing power after trying previous steps.

Sunset time incorrect
During the recent DST change it was discovered thateisy had some issues with the time of sunset. This may be one that didn't get reported then. Best to let UD know via a help ticket. https://www.universal-devices.com/my-tickets/

ISY994i Issues
Are you using Insteon or are you all ZWave? Please explain your setup and the type of devices you have. Is your ZWave using the series 300 dongle? If so, you are on the highest firmware version your system supports. Open the event viewer, set to level 3 and operate some devices that give you trouble, what is in the event viewer? Sounds like you might have a communication interference, but there is not enough information provided. Let's make sure you are attempting to access your ISY using the Launcher. Please follow these directions: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Installing_the_Admin_Console_Icon_on_Your_Desktop

Does Backup include Z-Wave
First, you need to go to the top level ZWave menu and back up ZWave. Go to Admin Console - ZWave - Backup. If given a choice do a complete backup. Now you can go to File - Backup ISY and the ZWave back will be included.

Transition to EISY from ISY994
Sorry you have to wait a bit longer.

Vacation Folder
Yes, you want a State variable to trigger a program. You created an integer variable. Look at your screenshot, right above ID, it says Integer and that is the tab you are on. To the right of that is State tab. Click on the word State and then create your variable and update your programs to use the new variable. Another reason to use the naming conventions called out in my previous post. The ISY doesn't poll the systems. Programs run when they are triggered, either true which runs Then or false which runs Else. No, there is not.

Random Reconnect Notices in UD Mobile
You can do both, but I would suggest also checking the PG3 log, not just the node server log.

Transition to EISY from ISY994
This is a long shot, but maybe a weak power supply? Try another, 12 volt DC, 2 amp power supply as a test.

Vacation Folder
First, only a state variable will trigger a program, an integer variable will not trigger a program. After time, when you start adding variables, it becomes difficult to remember what type of variable you are working with. This is important for troubleshooting. Therefore, best practice is to start an integer variable with a "i" and a state integer with an "s". To insure the else section runs, add a trigger that makes the statement false when set to 0. In you original example, for the If portion try: If $Vacation is 1 Or $Vacation is Not 0
