How do I connect to a building on a separate meter?
X10 and Insteon power line signals have a problem from getting from one phase to other phase. Through the transformers secondary windings. They may get through but the attenuated signals maybe too low for any operation. As for others on the same transformer highly unlikely. For X10 the JVDigital XTB-IIR repeater coupler was fantastic. My house has at least one volt of X10 everywhere and over 10 Volts X10 at the unit itself. It does not step on the end of an Insteon command and corrupting it. Reading the signal as an X10 one.

Silent doorbell by flashing lights?
I have also used one section of the ELK930 and the module you linked too. Both triggered an I/OLinc contact input. Guy's method would add flashing. As I missed that point.

Silent doorbell by flashing lights?
The Dakota HUB (aka receiver) should have a dry contact relay output. Normally open, normally closed and a common for the channel relay output. You should be able to wire the NO or NC and Common. To an Insteon module with a contact type input and have it do something you desire. Old school I/OLinc or one of the wireless sensors. Like the open closed sensor. If you need the Dakota manuals I may have them in my archives. If you need one let me know and I maybe able to provide it. If you have a different protocol like Z wave. I am sure they have similar devices.

Possibly switching from my ISY994i to eisy.
The PLM. It is a 2413S dual band and not the original 2412S single band version? If it is a 2412S you may want to consider a replacement and if you are going to an eisy. Might as well then get a 2413U USB model.

How do I connect to a building on a separate meter?
The 2992-222 Range Extender when being sold. Was actually a 2457D2 LampLinc with the dimming parts not installed and a different firmware. Most now use the 2457D2 for both dimmer control and range extending. So that is a possibility. Depending on the exact situation.

X-10 Devices Stopped Working With EISY.
Manual for the 2663-222 device attached. Since it has two controlled outlets. It has dual buttons. The 2473 is has a single controlled outlet and I see the quick guide was provided to you. See the full users manual for details. 2663-222-en.pdf

ISY994I firmware and X-10 modules
Yes they do basic X10 without the A10/X10 module added. I have it but never used it. As the added goodies where not needed or used. Thank you for jogging my memory.

ISY994I firmware and X-10 modules
Depending on the ZWave module installed. You maybe limited to firmware revision you can install. No personal information but you maybe able to remove it and install the last firmware released for the ISY994i The X10 module is gone as Guy pointed out. I got lucky. When the ISY994i was announced being discontinued but still available. I bought the X10 and Pro updates for my spare basic ISY994i.

Need help for an RF issue with X-10
I have also used an ESM1 to show Insteon power line signals and an RF Explorer budget spectrum analyzer to look at Insteon RF signals. Glad you found the RF problem. In the X10 forums we have seen lost remotes stuck in maybe a couch with a button on or an failing RF device start spewing X10 RF.

Need help for an RF issue with X-10
Have you tried a power cycle reset on the modules doing the RF conversion? Did you try one of the old transceivers to compare the results? In the Event Viewer is there any constant X10 style messages? Almost sounds like you have some RF interference that is almost over taking all the remotes.

Need help for an RF issue with X-10
There are some X10 and Insteon users here and I am sure they will assist you. You may also want to post on the X10 Support Forums. For added ideas. https://forums.x10.com/index.php

Garage door keypad
If you have remote control short distances some new ones have lights that make RF noise. Some makers sell bulbs tested to work with their openers. Since the I/OLink is power line only. If your control of the opener starts getting flaky. Putting its power plug on a Filterlinc may help or a Dual Band module in the I/OLinc's feed through outlet may also help.

Isy (5.0.16) Died. I want to migrate to a used EISY
One thing to consider. The OLD PLM's six digit ID is in all the modules will not respond to the new PLM' six digit ID. I believe replace modem will go out and write all the needed changes in the modules being controlled.

Blue Memory light flashing slowly
I had to take the top off mine to get to the SD card. Mine didn't align up well with the slot and when I clicked it to remove it fell into the unit. 😀

Blue Memory light flashing slowly
With out an SD card it should be impossible to even use it as it is where all the module information and programming is stored. I believe the early versions of the ISY994i had it internally and you have to remove the top.

Help ! Bought a house with an ISY994i System
Sounds like the switch is locked up or failed. Flashing red led usually indicates a communication issue to another module. You can try a power cycle reset by turning the power to it off and back on. Depending on its revision. Pulling the set button out should kill the power to it and then pushing the set button into its normal position. Will restore power to it. Do NOT push it all the way in as that may cause a factory reset. The tact switches under the paddles have been known to fail. Long time ago Smarthome extended the warranty on them in the known production problem time period.

Help ! Bought a house with an ISY994i System
2476ST is a power line only module. A restore as mentioned may do it for you. Locally does the LED bar graph move up and down when the paddle is uses? A factory reset and restore sometimes helps, but depending on its revision. May not have an Air Gap switch used in a factory reset. There is a method for the old ones. I have it if you need it. The information is on the sticker on the front of it. You asked about last firmware version for the 2476ST. It is 5.3.4. Though if everything is OK now you may want to hold off on the upgrade for now.

Upgrading from ISY994 to EISY | Will 2414U PLM work?
Looks like they are a V1 version and 1.6 is the exact version.

Upgrading from ISY994 to EISY | Will 2414U PLM work?
If your power line only deices. Suddenly start getting poor. The Access Points maybe starting to fail. If they are any Revision2 models. They are using the early revision of the 2413 base PLM main board. With the same capacitor issues. We have seen in the older 2413S PLM. The revision 1 Access Points are on the older base controller with the separate RF daughter board and seem to work better over the long run.

Upgrading from ISY994 to EISY | Will 2414U PLM work?
The serial adapter kit for the EISY and a serial port PLM. Should be wired correctly to use a serial PLM on an EISY.

Help ! Bought a house with an ISY994i System
The earlier firmware did have a separate access program made for it. I don't have have exact version where the launcher did access the later firmware in an ISY994i The latest firmware for an ISY994i is 5.3.4

Upgrading from ISY994 to EISY | Will 2414U PLM work?
NO. The 2414U or 2414S are not a PLM. The 2412U 2412S 2413S and 2413U. Are the PLM models. They are the original PLC Power Line Controller. That we could compose programs and download into them to run alone. Using the SALAD assembler we got in the original Developers Group. Use a completely different set of commands and will not work where a PLM is needed. Also if you are using a 2412S make sure only three wires are in the cable are being used. The 2412S has unregulated +12VDC on one of the pins. Normally are around 18VDC to about 19.5VDC

cant determine insteon engine
The 2450 I/OLinc is power line only communications. You may have some new power line issues. Like a signal sucker or power line noise maker. The trouble shooting link information may give some insight on what the problem maybe. It is also possible it has failed. As it has a switching power supply and the same capacitor issues we see in the 2413 PLM. I have seen different capacitors Smarthome tried to help but can't say exactly what yours may have,

Switch Turns Off, But Not On via ISY
The replace function would work if the replacement is a similar model. To do it you add the replacement with a new name. Then high lite the old one and pick the replace with function. Using the name you gave the new module. If it is a new power line only. It could take eight messages and acknowledgement to add one link to the replacement. So it would take awhile and if you have a power line noise issue. It may fail. If the new one is dual band replace may or my not be an option. As it may not be close enough for a swap.

Is it dual band or the power line only keypad?
