The Z Wave board and IR Board can be added to your ISY994i PRO You don't have to get a whole new one to get Z Wave and IR. The IR board can also be added to your present model. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Z-Wave:_Ordering/Assembly_Instructions https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Upgrade_to_IR

The 2476D and 2477D are both three wire dimmers. I would also suspect a minimum load needed. Dummy load may help but it would add watts being wasted as heat. Have you an added incandescent bulb for one of the LEDs to see if things changed. Different brand LED bulbs may also act completely different. Maybe try a different brand.
-
You mentioned trying the NC and Common relay output. That is like holding the control button all the time and releasing it when the I/OLinc is activated. That maybe contributing to the confusion.
-
This has been seen by others. Here is one of the threads on the subject. There maybe more. https://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/10516-random-all-on-event/ I don't think this is part of the All On. Your UI is v4.6.2. It should be v4.7.3 to match your Firmware.

I don't have any experience with ELK. I don't know if the basic interface will be enough for what you want to do or if the added Security Module will be needed.
-
If you don't have the ELK Security Module for the ISY994i. The features you can use are severely limited. At one time Smarthome sold a kit. The ELK system with needed ELK boards and an ISY994i. What they forgot to mention was with out the ELK Security Module for the ISY added. It had less things you could do. Here is the wiki link for basic ELK use with an ISY994i. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:ELK_Configuration. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-994i_Series_INSTEON:Networking:Network_Resources#Elk_IP-232

Smartenit makes a 4 dry output module. That is Insteon and X10 compatible. https://smartenit.com/product/ezio4o/ . I have not used one myself but I believe the ISY994i can control each relay individually. In the Resources Tab of the sales page. There is a users guide you could look at.
-
You may want to look at the ELK information in the UDI wiki. For what is needed. Like the add on ELK Security Module. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-994i_Series_INSTEON:ELK_Security_Module
-
You would think that such information was available, but that is not always the case. Smarthome at times does not provide all the information to the public or a firmware update changes things and we get no added information on such changes. Sometimes trial and error is the only choice.
-
Are you using the ISY Finder or the latest ISY Launcher? You may want to read this thread on what the ISY Launcher does and if your version of firmware needs it. Like 4.7.3 needs it. https://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/24381-isy-launcher/

You may have noticed the LED on the EZIO8SA's PLM flashing a few time at power up. It is changing the Category and Subcategory of the PLM to 07.04. The EZIO8SA. With the six digit Insteon ID of the PLM connected to it. So if you changed the PLM. It will now be an EZIO8SA with a new Insteon ID. So modules using its old ID will probably not work correctly.
-
This is the PLM on the EZIO8SA not the ISY994I's PLM? Is the old EZIO8SA still in the in the ISY994i also? Try clicking on the old EZIO8SA and see if Replace With shows the new one you just added as the replacment. Let us know as I am not too sure if Replace With function will properly do an EZIO8SA.

The Administrative Console. In the Tools menu. Has a Log and Error Log choice. It will generate a Log and Error Log. Since you last used the menu choices to clear it out. Then you can do with it as you want. I kind of remember seeing a reference to another log program or function but don't have any further data on it. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:Tools_Menu

If it is less than two years old. Call Smarthome Customer Support and get a warranty exchange. Make sure you follow the proper procedure to replace the PLM. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:File_Menu#Restore_Modem_.28PLM.29 There is a long thread here on the PLM failures and how some of us have rebuilt ours with good capacitors. https://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/13866-repair-of-2413s-plm-when-the-power-supply-fails/ When you get your replacement. If you would post the Date Code and Hardware Revision number on the back. It would be nice to know. I have seen a few recent reports of V2.5 hardware being received.
-
As pointed out. If the modules being controlled by the remote. Where not unlinked from it before the factory reset. They will continue to respond to the buttons. Not reccomended if you are using an ISY994i. If you where doing manual links and unlinks. Did you tap the button you want to do the action on before starting the linking or unlinking?
-
They must have changed something in the firmware. On my 2342-232 Mini Remotes. A Factory Reset is hold the set button while turning it ON. It will start beeping. Keep holding the set button until the beeper stops sounding then release the set button.

Are the switches on the same AC branch circuit? You could also plug a Dual Band module like a 2457D2 LampLinc, On/Off module or a Range Extender into the pass through outlet on the front of the I/OLinc.
-
Good to read you got a V2.4.
-
If the Dual Band module. Receives an Insteon RF copy of the command also sent to the I/OLinc on the power line . It will resend the command on to the power line. That the original power line command to the I/OLinc got lost. I expect if there is also no Dual Band module close enough to the Dual Band module you are trying to use with the I/OLinc. It will not improve things at all.
-
Even the I/OLinc sales page. Indicates it may need a Dual Band Module close to it for reliability. You could even plug a Dual Band module in its pass through outlet on the front.

The 2413U will not work with an ISY994i. The ISY994i uses a serial port 2413S has to be used. The latest 2413S being sold is V2.4. A 2.5 has been received by a user here as an engineering provided module. On the Insteon web site forum. It was pointed out. There was no V2.4 2413U. As for longevity. The V2.3 2413U was supposed to have the same updates as the V2.3 2413S. So the 2413U maybe the latest revision with what they changed to make the main board improved. I keep seeing V2.3 2413S PLM modules being sold by Amazon. Even though the V2.4 has been sold by Smarthome for a long time now. Any further improvements would not go backwards on revision numbers. In the Insteon.com Forums it was reports eventually a V2.5 will be in both 2413S and 2413U modules.
-
I had a few2420M modules. They are Insteon Motion Sensors. Manufactured by SkyLink for Smarthome. The listing looked confusing to me also. There where more than one revision with some differences on how to set them up and later ones also had a updated part number 2842-222
-
You may want to check the sensor itself. To verify it is still working correctly and its position has not changed. From your description it does sound like it actually sent an On command or the ISY994i thought it sent an on.
-
Yes Trigger Reversed was what I was thinking about.
-
I voted no plans and the survey would not let me skip #2 since I have no plans of buying one right now. So I had to pick one module in#2 even though I said no in #1. So #2 is not 100% accurate.
