  1. Rob, You won't get that unless we have an official release. Currently, the last official release is 4.2.30. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi Rob, The reason is that for every device (button), there should be a link in the PLM otherwise: 1. ISY cannot send commands to your devices 2. You won't get status feedback from devices With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi Paul, The portal is basically a proxy to your ISY. So, whatever your ISY APIs are available locally they are also available through the portal. So, 5.0 features should be available (using the Admin Console through the portal). With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Xathros, Yes, of course. Please go to the portal and in the drop down next to ISY choose ISY Information. You will see Admin Console URL listed there. Just copy/paste that into ISY Finder. The only difference is that you need to use your Portal's credentials to log into your ISY. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi ryanmead83, Only if you do a lot of scenes and if and only if you some of those devices in the scenes do not respond. Otherwise, no, you don't need to. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi ryanmead83, There's a much simpler solution. Create a program for each important device and use "is not Responding". So, if ISY fails communicating with a device, the associated program for that device will automatically run. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi Simon, EZIOCOMM is not officially supported but I do not think the issue is related to the PLM (unless it lost power). You are welcome to send your Tools | Error Log and we'll take a look. Hi Brian, What's your ISY's firmware version and model number? You are welcome to send your Tools | Error Log and we'll take a look. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hello bktong, It's usually related to signal path from the PLM to those devices in the scene. In some cases, the PLM is plugged into an outlet which is not on the same circuit as the switches. In extreme cases, the PLM is on a different phase. So, I would start with Right Mouse Click | Diagnostics | Scene Test first to see whether or not there are any issues with communications between the PLM and devices. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello everyone, I appreciate the levity! This said, I do very much hope we can keep politics away from our forum as I am certain soon it will spiral out of hand as with anything else related to politics. Thanks so very much for your consideration. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi Red Baron, Unfortunately yes. You do need a new PLM and once you get the unit, please follow the instructions in the link below STEP BY STEP: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:File_Menu#Replace_Modem_.28PLM.29 With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi Red Baron, The LED is pretty much meaningless. What you need to do is to reboot ISY, log back into the Admin Console and make sure you do NOT get a Safe Mode warning dialog OR that Tools | Diagnostics | PLM Info/Status shows "Connected/xx.yy.zz" where xx.yy.zz is the PLM address. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi Red Baron, Please do NOT do Restore Modem or Delete Modem. If you go to Tools | Diagnostics | PLM Info/Status and it shows disconnected, then I suspect your PLM is dead. You might want to plug it into another outlet, reboot ISY, and retry the same menu and make sure you get "Connected". With kind regards, Michel
  13. Michel Kohanim replied to MustangChris04's topic in ISY994
Hi MustangChris04, No plans since those messages take resources and we believe they are only good for live debugging. Error log should be used for anything else. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Michel Kohanim replied to MustangChris04's topic in ISY994
Hi MustangChris04, Unfortunately not unless you make another ISY client and subscribe to ISY. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi zerop, I am aware of that and that's the same bug in all firmware. It's not unique to newer firmware. I do recommend upgrading to the official release as we do not have a point of reference. Not knowing which address corresponds to which device makes the referenced event viewer output not very meaningful to me. Do you get DON/DOF for EVERYONE of your motion sensors??? With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi zerop, I am not sure why you wouldn't upgrade to last official release of 4.2.30. What issues are you referring to with regards to mini remote? Please open the Event Viewer, change the level to 3, and make sure you see DON/DOF every time you physically turn on/off those switches. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi Eduardo, Thanks so very much. Indeed a bug. This said, we have decided not to fix it since we are hoping to put an much improved version in our official 5.0. Please stay tuned. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi Eduardo, Thank you and that would be great! With kind regards, Michel
  19. BonedaddyJ, You can update any Z-Wave parameter as long as you have accaess to manufacture's specs. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi paulbates, You can certainly switch your Zigbee module with a Z-Wave one. The main question is the type if application you're envisioning. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi Rob, You will have to wait for 5.0 shortly in beta. With 5.0 you can assign the value of KWh to a variable and the multiply it by your price. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Eduardo, Are devices you're clicking on part of any scenes? With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi MWareman, I must agree with barrygordon. The resource does not exist! With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi pmwill, I am so very sorry to hear. It seems to be communications related. 1. Please move your PLM to a different outlet 2. Please make sure you have at least twice as many links in the PLM as your nodes in ISY. If you don't try File / Restore Devices (newer INSTEON devices do not respond without having a link back to the PLM) With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi clarks71, It might be an issue with 5.0. Can you please send a screenshot to support@universal-devices.com? With kind regards, Michel
