  1. Hi guedesluz, Use a free dynamic dns solution. This way, you will access ISY using a name instead of IP. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi ferdies, correct. Please send to support@universal-devices.com. And, if you can put your thermostat on the Internet, I can test it remotely. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi chrsb, You basically need bluetooth to http (-> REST/ISY). With kind regards, Michel

Hi Dennis, Yes, indeed should have been
  5. Hi guedesluz, Of course. You can either do File | Enable Internet Access OR you can create port forwarding rules manually: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... PnP_Router Manual port forwarding is much more reliable. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi Eric, No problem at all. We should have 4.1.2 out shortly which would address setting the backlight to zero. I think it would be best to wait till you have 4.1.2 before any other type of experimentation. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Correct! Or, basically any two protocols including Zigbee + Z-Wave but NOT INSTEON. With kind regards, Michel

Hi Dennis, Please try customized content and change the encoding to HTML. This means that you can do something like: What you ever you want here In this case, is break. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi modex, I do not think you have purchased the correct unit. ISY is an INSTEON/X10/Zigbee (and lately Z-Wave) controller. You can use network resources to communicate with devices on the network. This said, the focus is INSTEON and Z-Wave. Do you have a PLM attached to ISY? If so, can you tell me what you get when you go to Tools | Diagnostics | PLM Info/Status? With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi modex, I am not sure what you mean. Many have used GC100 with ISY: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... che_GC-100 The main question is not integration with ISY but whether or not the equipment you are trying to communicate with require IR vs. Serial. With kind regards, Michel
  11. huddadudda, Is it at all possible to ask Ubi for integration with ISY? We are completely maxed out with our resources and cannot possible integrate with every little gadget that comes out. Especially since our focus is on things like thermostats (NEST and Venstar) and Z-Wave. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi Steigs, Please try http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/4.1.1/admin.jnlp . With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi Frank, RogerTK had a completley and entirely different issues. Can you please check the Event Viewer and see whether or not you are getting anything out of the meter. Also, you can look at http://your.isy.ip.address/emeter/metering/log to see whether or not there are any errors. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi modex, Can you please let me know what you are trying to achieve? I have never come across the need for two GCs but without knowing what you're trying to do is a little difficult to figure out what you need. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi dfetzer, It should be the URL/IP address that you use to access ISY from your Android You will always get this unless you use a certificate from a Certificate Authority (CA) Are you certain the server settings are set to TLS 1.2? Do you have an ISY994i PRO Series? With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi ferdies, nothing was attached. Please try ASCII. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hello bruinlax, Would you be kind enough to: 1. Send me a screenshot of Help | About on the Admin Console 2. Send me the output of http://your.isy.ip.address/rest/emeter/network My email: support@universal-devices.com. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi Dave, I am so very sorry to hear. Please check your logs. If ISY does has not logged the status of these devices when this happens, please contact support@universal-devices.com and we'll hook you up with our SmartHome contact for an updated PLM. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi modex, Thank you. What do you get when you go to Link Management | Start Linking? If you get the Linking in Progress dialog, can you not register your devices? With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi Big517, It's perfect. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi Big517, please post your program. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi EricK, That's not good. It does not make any sense to have to do that. Is it possible to do an experiment? If you have any new ones, can you please check whether or not it does the same thing before and after registering it in ISY? With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi ferdies, Are you sure it understands URL Encoded? With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi modex, I am so very sorry to hear. I just got your ticket as well. I am not sure what's device manager (except in the context of the dashboard). Please: 1. Use http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/4.1.1/admin.jnlp 2. Go to Tool | Diagnostics | PLM Info/Status and let me know what you see With kind regards, Michel
