  1. Hi hhimes, Please try Link Management | Link a RemoteLinc 2. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi Big517, There are control values for door locks. Scenes are coming. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi modex, I am so very sorry to hear. Can you please let me know what URL you are using? If you have not yet registered any devices, nothing will show up. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi ferdies, thank you. As such it's safe to assume that either the thermostat is not responding properly or their documentation does not reflect reality. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi bjhanson3, Page 9: http://www.universal-devices.com/docs/I ... 0Guide.pdf . With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi Big517, I am so very sorry. I completely forgot that in most cases devices must be queried to get a status back. And, thus, no Control. This is going to make it a little challenging. Let me get back to you . Either one works ... using folder is my preference for categorization and grouping. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Les, Have you looked at the logs? If these strange happenings are NOT in your logs (i.e. ISY does not know anything about them), then I would suspect half links/phantom links between your devices. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi bjhanson3, If you are on 4.0.5 and you have FIOS (which seems like you do), then please upgrade to 4.1.1: FIOS has a tendency of bombarding ISY with UPnP traffic. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi Big517, Quick question: what do we use to figure out when there's light outside? The rest is pretty standards stuff. You basically can have 3 different folders: Light Outside Dark Outside Past 11PM Then, in each folder you would have: If ELK Then Set Wait Set The only other issue is when someone manually turns the device on/off. In which case: If Control Then Program disable ... ... Wait Program enable .... .... With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi KMan, It should: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... e#Programs With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi ferdies, Unfortunately the only way to test this would be to use a utility like curl and send the same command from your computer and see what happens. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi bjhanson3, Are you using File | Enable Internet Access to enable remote access to your ISY? With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi dhefley, Definitely implemented: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... #Variables Yes, you need to POST to /services. All is described in our WSDK documentation: http://www.universal-devices.com/isy-developers/ You can use REST With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi Eric, Unfortunately not. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi Jim, I am so very sorry but I cannot find any communications from you. Would you please send your error log and specifically point to this topic? With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi 38link, Unfortunately there are not very many Zigbee sensors that are interoperable. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hello ferdies, all looks good. Are you saying that although you get 200OK, the thermostat settings do not change? With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi sorka, There have been reports of PLMs losing links. Please send an email to support@universal-devices.com and I'll hook you up with our contact at SmartHome. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi Capella, I am so very sorry. The problem is 4.0.5 UI and Java 1.7.45 combination. Please do the following: 1. Clear Java Cache (http://www.java.com/en/download/help/plugin_cache.xml) 2. Go to http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/4.1.1/admin.jnlp With kind regards, Michel
  20. I must totally and wholeheartedly agree with oberkc ... moving to 99 is NOT going to fix the issue. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi davefred99, It's really as easy as that. Here are migration instructions: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... r_ISY-994i With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi davefred99, I am so very sorry to hear. If you have Verizon/AT&T FIOS or DirecTV, we do know for a fact that they incessantly bombard ISY to the point that it will go into DOS mode. As far as upgrade to 994, all your existing modules will be transferred free of charge. With kind regards, Michel
  23. modex, Definitely possible if: 1. You have an unsecure WiFi network ... in this case, everything in your network is vulnerable including ISY 2. For remote access, if you forward to ISY's unsecure http port (80), then when you are accessing ISY remotely, all traffic between you and ISY can be sniffed and decoded by any novice hacker (including your userid/password). So, you should NEVER forward to port 80 3. In the same vein as above, ISY comes with a default SSL certificate. For best security, it's best to either create your own self signed certificate or get one from a Certificate Authority (CA). If you do not access ISY remotely at all, then this is a moot point and you should not worry about it 4. For maximum security, make sure you have the PRO series and choose TLS 1.2 for protocol and at least medium strength for cipher suites and 2048 as key length (http://www.universal-devices.com/docs/I ... 0Guide.pdf) 5. ISY backup files are basically your system's configuration. I would not (personally) back them up on a cloud system that's not secure If you follow the four steps above, ISY should be almost as secure as your bank. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi GreyFox, Yes, indeed it is. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi G Graham, Unfortunately we do not have any solutions for talking to inverters. I am sorry. With kind regards, Michel
