  1. Hi mfranzel, As far as the KPL, I think it's defective. Are you certain ISY's IP address has not changed. I also responded to your ticket with some suggestions. With kind regards, Michel
  2. AJ, The root/intermediate certificates MUST be installed in your computer/client (under trusted certificates) and not in the ISY. What CN did you use to get your certificate? Is it your ISY's remote IP address or internal IP address? With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi aweber1nj, I must confess that I truly believe the problem is in the networking layer between your computer and ISY. If you have this problem with all your computers, then the problem is in the router. If you have this problem with one of your computers, then I would look at firewall software (and/or VPN). With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi whywork, I am so very sorry to hear. I suspect those power outages may have corrupted the file system and specifically the .REC file for your InlineLinc. If you have a good backup, the best thing to do is to restore it. You will need to re-register the device that you just recently added. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Got it. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi Tim, None!!! With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi LeeG, thank you! Hi HansSolo, yes, indeed! With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hello apostolakisl, You are 100% correct. We still have an action item to clean up the Wiki (finished with the user guide last month). With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi frustratednon-geek, Are your IOLincs setup in momentary mode? i.e. when you turn them on, they turn off momentarily? And, if so, is that what you want done? Can you give a sequence of an example that does not work (i.e. IOLinc turns on, ISY does this, DMX does that, but this should have happened but didn't)? With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi iostream212, This should get you started: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... _Bathrooms In short, all you need is: If Control 'Motion Sensor' is switched on Then Wait In short, as long as you are in the room and the motion sensor is tripped, the wait restarts. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi doogledb, Thanks so very much for the update. Appreciate it very much. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi switches, Same issue and the newer PLM does indeed alleviate some of the issues. Do you happen to have the log for the last time this happened? Turning something to off basically means that the first link record's on level is 0. This could be the same All On issue. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi AJ, Yes, you can use the ISY Finder to connect to your ISY. Simply click on the Add button and then enter the URL for your ISY. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Michel Kohanim replied to drw's topic in ISY994
Hi drw, I am so very sorry to hear. If your ISY's firmware version is 4.0.5 and if you have Verizon FIOS or DirecTV, please upgrade to 4.1.0. It will surely fix the issue (Verizon and DirecTV bombard ISY with UPnP traffic thinking ISY is a media server!!!!). If not, please send your Tools | Error Log to support@universal-devices.com. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi AJ, Those errors you are getting are very strange! What's the operating system? As far as Java, those are the only two. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi Big517, No, this is INSTEON packet issue. As far as Z-Wave status updates, it all depends on the type of device you have (whether or not it reports its status). With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi sloop(linc), Been a long time. Your firmware is way too old and the newer devices are all dual band and I doubt they would work with your OLD PLM. furthermore, 99 is now superseded by 994. So, if you still hate INSTEON and all the xxxlincs, I think it's the right time to throw the towelinc! With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi AJ, If you have 994: http://www.universal-devices.com/docs/I ... 0Guide.pdf With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi unispeed, Unfortunately that state is not queryable. So, as soon as you upgrade ISY, the state is lost and cannot be queried till the next time you change the state on the thermostat itself. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi switches, Thanks so very much for the details which I am sure others will find useful. My only concern with using so many Motion Sensors is if you have 2413S PLM. As it has been reported before, in some cases, too much RF traffic might corrupt one of the packets and turn it into an ALL On packet. Have you ever noticed that all your lights have turned on? Thanks again and with kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi Teken, Thanks so very much for understanding. We'll get it implemented hopefully soon. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi Teken, I was in touch with Ben last week and he basically gave us the packet format for "current" and not temp. In short, this is a requirement that we are tracking and we'll eventually implement. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi fba, Yes, it is in plans. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi JimsEvilTwin, Thanks so very much. My recommendation: 1. If you are using DHCP reservation and if your router is either Linksys or NetGear, please do make sure you have their latest firmware 2. Please do Tools | Clear Error Log 3. Upgrade to 4.1.0 (viewtopic.php?f=25&t=12604) Please let the unit run for a couple of days and then send your Tools | Error Log to support@universal-devices.com. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi fba, Are you trying to change the local on level? If so, the scene must be equal to the device you are trying to change the on level on (when you click on the scene, it will say Applied Locally). This said, older switches require a REBOOT before changes take effect. See above. 1. I do not think you want to use Backlight level which is applied TO ALL the buttons and is basically the brightness level of the buttons. What you want to do instead is to put the button that you need to control inside a scene and then turn on/off the scene based on the condition 2. Although in this case you should be OK, but - and just for the sake of recovery after power outage - it's best to have two different programs with opposite conditions (one for Then and one for Else). With kind regards, Michel
