  1. Hi Harold, Please send the following screenshots to support@universal-devices.com: 1. Top section of Admin Console 2. Help | About With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi rjbur, You cannot disable a firewall (all filters remain in effect). What you need to do instead is to include ISY's IP address in the trusted zone/exclusion list. Alternatively, try using https to communicate with ISY instead of http. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi EricK, I think there a couple of issues here: a) you cannot delete a scene and you cannot rename. First of all, please do make sure you get status updates for all your devices. i.e. go to Tools | Diagnostics | Event Viewer, change the level to 3, turn on/off any of your devices and see whether or not you see any traffic. If not, then I suspect: either firewall software on your computer blocking ISY from publishing events to the Admin Console or Java cache issue. I would definitely start with Java cache: 1. Clear your Java cache: http://www.java.com/en/download/help/plugin_cache.xml 2. Go to http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/4.1.1/admin.jnlp In case of firewall, either use https to communicate with ISY (instead of http) or configure your firewall to exclude ISY and include it in the trusted zone list. And, finally: 1. To remove a node: a) it can NOT be inside a folder right mouse click | Delete 2. To rename a node: right mouse click | Rename With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Jim, I already responded to your open ticket. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi LeeG, thank you and you are correct but it depends on the firmware on 26. We have done all we could to have migration routines for upward compatibility but, again, it depends on the firmware. Hi Frank, welcome back. Here are the instructions for migration: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... r_ISY-994i Please try it and keep us posted. With kind regards, Michel
  6. shannong, We are looking into it. The same two items are available as buttons in your toolbar. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi EricK, You can right mouse click on your KPL and Group your buttons. As far as communication issues: 1. Plug the PLM into the same outlet as your HL's PLM 2. Make sure you remove HL PLM ... we have had couple of reports that it does cause interference With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi ldrinc, Then you should be able to subscribe to ISY as long as you keep either a socket open or a URL to which ISY can publish its events. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi ldrinc, What kind of program are you specifically referring to? You can always use our Web Services APIs to subscribe to ISY: http://www.universal-devices.com/isy-developers . With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi davbow, The error indicates that there are no network resources configured yet. Once you create a few, you'll get a list. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi shannong, Thank you. I am scratching my head as I cannot fathom a reason why its existence on powerline should cause problems. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi shannong, Thanks so very much for the update. This is quite strange indeed. Is the HL PLM dual band as well? With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi shannong, Quite interesting indeed ... Looking forward to your finding. With kind regards, Michel
  14. shannong, You cannot set Master mode in UI as it's not in their APIs. Do you have HouseLinc running at the same time as ISY? With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi shannong, Sincere apologies, I didn't understand the question. Scenes in ISY do not have a status. We have had long and fruitless debates as far as what constitutes the status of a scene and never arrived at a solution that satisfied everyone. Of course you can And the status of each device in the scene as a condition. This said, it seems that you are just looking at temperature, no? If not, what's the status of the scene? As far as the second question, if this is an urgent requirement for you, then - and as you suggested - I am afraid ISY is not going to meet them. If not urgent and can wait 3 months, then we will have that feature (already designed, working, and being tested in the lab). What you can do in the interim is pretty ugly: basically setting a variable for each discrete temp. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi shannong, Are you using the same PLM as the one used with HouseLinc? If so, did you do a factory reset on it? If not, can you please go to Tools | Diagnostics | PLM Info/Status and let me know your PLM version? As far as this specific thermostat, my experience has been: 1. It may go to sleep mode (especially if the battery is low) 2. If it's not set to master mode, then it may not get registered to ISY and, furthermore, you may not get status updates from it when added With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi shannong, Short answer, yes of course. Long answer: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... e#Programs Another great source of information is the User Guide: http://www.universal-devices.com/docs/p ... 5%20v2.pdf Unfortunately you cannot yet set variables to status of devices. This is coming very early next year. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi shannong, Welcome! Please make sure your thermostat is close to another dual band device and/or access point. Or, perhaps you can move your ISY/PLM to the same location as HouseLinc used to be. Also, please note that ISY and HouseLinc cannot coexist. And, finally, please make sure you are in master mode and that your thermostat is powered through an adapter otherwise it might be sleeping. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi Xathros, I am not sure I follow. They are there without the "Enable", no? With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi Harold, Indeed you got an IR model. Consider it a gift for the holidays . With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi Harold, Thank you. Questions: 1. In Help | About dialog, what's the product id? 2. Do you have a little IR sensor through the hole? With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi Nathan, ISY would have no way of knowing that the PLM is disconnected unless you reboot ISY. Please do keep us posted. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi ES1400, thanks so very much for the update. Appreciate it very much. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi Harold, That option is only available on the PRO series. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi benpeart, If these are older devices, you might need to an airgap (take the set button out and then push it back in) to the switch for the settings to take effect. In which case, it would not make sense to use programs due to the manual nature of these devices. What's the model#/firmware version of these devices? With kind regards, Michel
