Hi Michael, Fortunately/Unfortunately, we (as in UDI) cannot do anything with WUnderground as they wanted to charge us 10s of thousands of dollars just to become a partner. It will be up to you and other 3rd parties to actually get the data to ISY. Yes, you can anything that can communicate events and get commands from ISY. With kind regards, Michel

Hi bTwix, Thanks so very much for the suggestion and feedback. This has been on our requirement list for a VERY long time. The reason is that every time we try to implement it, we face much deeper security challenges. As far as the wife factor, most http clients support Basic Authentication. Is it difficult to hardcode ISY's userid/password in your client? i.e. I am just delegating the security hole back to your client With kind regards, Michel

Hello backinthelab, Not only I very much understand your sentiments but also I do agree. You can remove the scene. Please note that ISY does NOT in any shape or form communicate with any other entity outside of your home WITHOUT your explicit permission/intervention. Actually, this is the one feature that we are promoting all over the place: Autonomous --> no data going out and no commands coming in. You ARE in control. With kind regards, Michel

Hi Elburn, Unfortunately you cannot register the same device into two different ISYs. On the other hand, you can use the Network Module to have one ISY sent network commands to the other ISY. This said: a. Both ISYs should be on the same network b. The scenario you are trying to implement should work outside of INSTEON With kind regards, Michel

Hi Tim, This is not good ... we are in the beginning stages of a solution that might support multiple Weather services. With kind regards, Michel

Michel Kohanim replied to Sackings's topic in ISY994
Hi Sackings, Would you please send Tools | Error Log and Tools | Log to support@universal-devices.com? Have you tried rebooting the PLM instead of ISY? With kind regards, Michel -

Hi osurh18, I am so very sorry to hear. It seems that the ISP has changed the IP address. Unfortunately there's really no simple fix for this unless you get a dynamic DNS service. With kind regards, Michel

Hi paauto, Auto DR is our implementation of Open AutoDR which is a new standard for demand/response communications with the utilities. If your utility supports OpenADR, then you might be able to sign up to their programs for rebates/incentives. With kind regards, Michel

Hi Bob, Ok, if direct commands work but NONE of the scenes work, then, there are two cases: 1. You replaced the PLM but didn't do File | Restore Modem 2. Somehow/someone did a File | Delete Modem Which is the case? With kind regards, Michel

Hi Neil, Thanks so very much for the details. Can you tell me how many links you have when everything works? I must also let you know that we now have 3 cases of PLMs losing their links spontaneously. Thanks and with kind regards, Michel

Hi Gene, Yes, we were cleared to submit again and we'll do it next week. With kind regards, Michel

Hi EdgemanVA, I am so very sorry to hear all these problems you are having. I think it would be best to contact our support for more expedient resolution. If your computer is 64 bit, then you MUST install both 64 bit (for IE) as well as 32 bit versions of Java. I think you have only installed the 32 bit version. With kind regards, Michel

Changing temperature when Thermostat (2441ZTH) is master?
Michel Kohanim replied to MasterMog's topic in ISY994
Hi MasterMog, What are wired thermostats and how would you send commands form ISY to them? Humidity is sent only from the master. With kind regards, Michel -
Hi Robert, I do not think the problem is PLM related. I think the problem is one of your RF devices causing a network jam. Do you have any INSTEON thermostats? If so, please take the dongle out and retry. With kind regards, Michel

Hi Chasewood, Thanks so very much for the update. Indeed quite a strange issue ... With kind regards, Michel

Hi max90034, Yes, the backup will preserver everything in the /CONF directory. The only thing that's not backed up and which you need to backup manually are the Web Server files. With kind regards, Michel

Michel Kohanim replied to ferdies's topic in ISY994
Hi ferdies, I think you get that information from Somfy. A quick Google returned only articles relating to Somfy: https://www.google.com/search?q=somfy+i ... e&ie=UTF-8 With kind regards, Michel -
Hi Neil, Are you saying that PLM links are erased if and only if you access ISY remotely? i.e. if you followed the same set of steps locally, PLM links do not get erased? With kind regards, Michel

Hi Bill, Thank you and I am so very sorry to hear about all the problems you have been having. One thing to note: you have a bookmark to your old ISY and thus all the UUID issues. Please clear ALL your browser bookmarks for ISY and start afresh. With kind regards, Michel

Hi MWaverman, 170000 is debug/informational messages. -256 means TLS negotiation failed. -140002 means timeout. So, it seems that negotiations is failing. Can you please let me know what are HTTPS Client settings for your ISY? With kind regards, Michel
