  1. Hello all, Since we added support for iMeter Solo and fixed a few minor bugs, we are not going to release and official version as of yet. Please note that this release has been thoroughly tested and is quite stable. Please do be kind enough to : 1. Test iMeter Solo functionality 2. Test SynchroLinc functionality 3. Test stability and observe any type of network anomaly 4. Checkout UI enhancements and fixes For a list of changes, please take a look at this post: http://forum.universal-devices.com/view ... =6475#6475 Notes: 1. ISY-26 is no longer included in the firmware builds 2. Due to the sensitive nature of supporting MorningLinc, users now must agree to terms and conditions upon Admin Console start up otherwise the dialog keeps popping up every time the Admin Console is started Instructions: 1. Please backup your ISY (File | Backup ISY) 2. Please download the firmware for your platform - please do not unzip ISY 99i Series: http://www.universal-devices.com/update ... 2.8.10.zip OR 992i Series: http://www.universal-devices.com/update ... 2.8.10.zip OR 994i Series: http://www.universal-devices.com/update ... 2.8.10.zip 3. Important Due to invalid Java certificate chain in releases 2.8.5 and above, please make sure to remove all Universal Devices certificates from Java: a. Close all browser sessions b. Open Java Control Panel (Java Preferences on MAC) c. Click on the Security tab. Remove all Universal Devices certificates (on MAC, click on the '-' button at the bottom) e. Clear your Java Cache ( http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... Java_Cache ) f. Go to http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/2.8.10/admin.jnlp 4. Login to the Admin Console and choose Help | Manually Upgrade [the name of your system] 5. Choose the file saved in step 2 MAC users: if upgrade fails, please add https://your.isy.ip.address to ISY Finder (see 3e above) 6. After the upgrade, ISY reboots. Please do ensure to clear your Java Cache: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... Java_Cache 7. IMPORTANT Once upgrade is completed and ISY reboots, use any of the following methods to access your ISY's Admin Console: a. http://isy/admin - applet (Windows only) b. http://isy/admin.jnlp - Java application (Windows only) c. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin - applet d. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin.jnlp - Java application e. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/2.8.10 - applet f. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/2.8.10/admin.jnlp - Java application 8. IMPORTANT If you have already installed a self signed certificate and your current firmware is 2.7.10 and below, you must reinstall a new one: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... rtificates Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  2. Hello junkycosmos, I am so very sorry for a tardy reply. You cannot add ML using Add New Device AND you will have to use the 3rd option. The reason is that ISY has to read the database which includes the records to communicate with the lock. Any other method wipes them off and thus removes the original links from ML Lock. With kind regards, Michel
  3. bbb2008, And you do not see Heat/Cool status change when the thermostat calls for heat or cool? Quick questions: 1. Do you have the latest V2 thermostats? 2. Do you see 4 nodes for each thermostat in the tree? 3. Are you on a 99i? With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hello bbb2008, Heat/Cool should show what the thermostat is calling for (including off). Are you using the HTML interface? With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hello Bill, Thanks so very much for the update. If you are not on 2.8.9, I strongly recommend upgrading since some fixes were put in to prevent system lockup. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hello sofaspud, Sincere apolgoies. Please do be kind enough to contact our tech support team and we'll figure out what's causing all these troubles. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi Bill, http://isy only works on Windows machines. Also, you would have to have NetBios enabled on your Windows (which is enabled by default). All this said, can you even get to the HTML page? With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi cnutco, If you are still available and around, please send an email to support@universal-devices.com and we'll take care of it for you. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello GeorgeRufle, Apologies for the inconvenience. Please do be kind enough to contact us (support@universal-devcies.com) and we'll figure out what's going on. Hello Steigs, We had two other cases of PLM failure ... this said, however, I would like to checkout your system before concluding anything. Please do be kind enough to contact our support and we'll try to figure out what's going on. We may have found the problem with the upgrade; it has to do with our certificate. We should have this rectified. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Nick, Restore your backup and downgrade to 2.7.15. Please note that while doing any type of activities to devices, you cannot expect ISY to be responsive. As a matter of fact, ISY blocks certain operations altogether. By rebooting in the middle, you might cause corruption of the configuration files. I would love to be able to login to your system and see what's going on. If you are amenable, please send me an email and we'll set it up. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hello bktong, That specific error simply means that ISY could not connect to the server. Please ensure: 1. the server hostname/port are correct 2. you are not being blocked by your ISP 3. in most cases, From field causes rejections (they use your account information for From) With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi Tim, If you have the same problem with multiple PLMs, and if you have an extra PLM, then the best thing to do would be to send one to us so that we can test it. Currently, we are using 2413s exclusively and cannot reproduce this problem. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hello gatchel, Correct: only on the same subnet. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi Tim, Yes, EZRain and EZFlora only. We do not have to initialize EZIO devices. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi Tim, Thanks. This is the issue: With EZRain, ISY tries to initialize it so that it can communicate with ISY. Thsi is done at reboot and if ISY cannot communicate with it, it seems that it's hung. But, if you wait about 2 minutes (all the retries) it would come back on. So, instead of removing EZRain, try to reproduce the problem and wait between 2 to 3 minutes. If it works, then we know the problem is one of the EZRains. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hello spencer359, Please contact our tech support (click on UDISupport below) and submit a ticket. We'll login to your computer and see what's going on. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi Moshe, By disabling Internet Access do you mean that when you went to Help | About, Internet Access label said "disabled"? Jerland, would you be kind enough to make sure that your system has actually been upgraded (Tools | About)? With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi gatchel, Definitely a problem with 2.8.8 ... please upgrade to 2.8.9 and make sure that it's actually upgraded (Tools | About). With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi Tim, Quick questions: 1. Your PLM firmware version 2. Do you use a power supply? 3. ISY's firmware version 4. Do you have EZRain devices? If so, have you tried removing them from ISY and see if you can reproduce the issue? Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  20. mjtyson, Thanks so very much for the update. There seems to be an issue with upgrading to 2.8.9 from 2.8.8 ... please follow the instructions here and retry the upgrade (section 3): http://forum.universal-devices.com/view ... 1849#41849 With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hello mjtyson, You have to be LOCAL to your ISY to use this tool. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hello Lou, Would you be kind enough to send me an export of your Network Resources and let me know for which IDs you have this problem? (support@universal-devices.com). Thanks in advance and with kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi Jon, They are utility specific devices which are NOT in production and only used in conjunction with utility pilots. One feature they have is the ability to communicate with Zigbee SEP Smart Meters. But, even that is not production because SEP is not finalized. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hello ronbo, Yes, V2 thermostat functionality will not work with 26. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi gatchel, Apologies ... please take a look at your error logs and see if you see any connection errors (such as to WeatherBug: 14000x). If so, then this has been resolved in 2.8.9. If you are installing 2.8.9, please make sure you use: http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/2.8.9/admin.jnlp to install the firmware. Once done, make sure the unit has been upgraded (Help | About). With kind regards, Michel
