  2. Hi Moshe, By disabling Internet Access do you mean that when you went to Help | About, Internet Access label said "disabled"? Jerland, would you be kind enough to make sure that your system has actually been upgraded (Tools | About)? With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi gatchel, Definitely a problem with 2.8.8 ... please upgrade to 2.8.9 and make sure that it's actually upgraded (Tools | About). With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Tim, Quick questions: 1. Your PLM firmware version 2. Do you use a power supply? 3. ISY's firmware version 4. Do you have EZRain devices? If so, have you tried removing them from ISY and see if you can reproduce the issue? Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  5. mjtyson, Thanks so very much for the update. There seems to be an issue with upgrading to 2.8.9 from 2.8.8 ... please follow the instructions here and retry the upgrade (section 3): http://forum.universal-devices.com/view ... 1849#41849 With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hello mjtyson, You have to be LOCAL to your ISY to use this tool. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hello Lou, Would you be kind enough to send me an export of your Network Resources and let me know for which IDs you have this problem? (support@universal-devices.com). Thanks in advance and with kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi Jon, They are utility specific devices which are NOT in production and only used in conjunction with utility pilots. One feature they have is the ability to communicate with Zigbee SEP Smart Meters. But, even that is not production because SEP is not finalized. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello ronbo, Yes, V2 thermostat functionality will not work with 26. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi gatchel, Apologies ... please take a look at your error logs and see if you see any connection errors (such as to WeatherBug: 14000x). If so, then this has been resolved in 2.8.9. If you are installing 2.8.9, please make sure you use: http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/2.8.9/admin.jnlp to install the firmware. Once done, make sure the unit has been upgraded (Help | About). With kind regards, Michel
  11. Mr. Gray, Thanks so very much for the detailed reply. You can surely use static IP address but the main questions are: 1. Are you certain that this IP address is NOT assigned by the DHCP servers to any other devices? 2. Is this IP address routable via all other devices? With kind regards, Michel
  12. cnutco, I am not sure what you are referring to ... enabling remote access has nothing to do with local access to ISY. If you have specific questions/concerns, please do be kind enough to post them and we'll make sure they are answered. Also, I noticed that you have had problems with port forwarding. I sure hope you know that we would be delighted to configure it for you so you would not have to go through all this trouble. If you would like, please contact our support either via voice (818-631-0333) or ticket ( http://www.universal-devices.com/contact.htm ) With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi Jim, Please contact our tech support (http://www.universal-devices.com/contact.htm ) and we'll take care of it. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hello smurt, Please send to support@universal-devices.com . With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hello south, If you would like, you can send your backup (prior to the upgrade) to support@universal-devices.com and we'll see what we can do to recover it. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hello south, This must be a bug and it has been reported twice. I am so very sorry ... With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi South, From which release did you upgrade from and what URL are you using to access your ISY? With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hello jcanter, Please do not factory reset! Please call our tech support line as soon as possible and let us see what's causing the problem. Upgrade issues update: Thanks to Wes, the problem seems to be isolated to 64 bit machine and our new Java certificate. Please try the following: 1. Close all browser sessions 2. Open Java Control Panel (Java Preferences on MAC) 3. Click on the Security tab. Remove all Universal Devices certificates (on MAC, click on the '-' button at the bottom) 4. Clear your Java cache 5. Go to http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/2.8.9/admin.jnlp 6. Try the upgrade again With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hello south, Would you be kind enough to go to Tools | Diagnostics | PLM Status/Info and see whether or not your PLM is connected? If you still have problems, please do be kind enough to contact our tech support ( http://www.universal-devices.com/contact.htm ). All who have upgrade issues, if one of you would be willing to let us login remotely, it would help us a lot. This problem cannot be reproduced here and it would really help us if we can figure out what's causing the issue. If interested, please send an email to support@universal-devices.com. I do apologize for the inconvenience. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hello Mr. Gray, I think the problem might be that your second airport express is also issuing its own IP addresses. So, the first thing I recommend to isolate the problem is to hook your ISY (if possible) to the first airport express. If the problem persists then we have to figure out if your cable modem also issues IP addresses and if so, we would have to disable DHCP in your first airport express. In short, there should only be ONE authority for issuing IP addresses. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hello fitzpatri8, I think your client is on an old version. What URL are you using to access your ISY? When you cleared your Java cache, did it remove the icon on your desktop? Hello jdeloach, The only port you have to forward to is your HTTPS port (default is 443 but configurable in Configuration | System tab). Hello BrianH, Bug! Thanks so very much. Hello GeorgeRufle, Please download again. It seems that all these problems stem from our server chopping off half the file. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi Lou, If you are willing to send me the email address to which you are sending messages, I can test here. What you are experiencing is really odd and I cannot figure out why this would happen. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi ronbo, What firmware level are you on? You need 2.7.15 and above with V2 thermostats for this to work. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Teken, This should not happen. Actually, 2.8.9 tries to enable UPnP port forwarding at least 3 times before it gives up (unlike previous releases). BrianH, No network connection happens in two cases: 1. ISY failed getting/renewing DHCP lease time 2. ISY does not sense a hub (i.e. either cable disconnected or router not available) The activity to 239.x.x.x is UPnP keep-alive and it should happen approximately every 15 to 30 seconds (depending on the load). We also added another feature which senses conflicts in IP address. fitzpatri8, I just tested this case and it works fine. Would you please try it on other devices such as SWL and let me know what you see? With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hello eitheta, Apologies for the inconvenience. The first thing I recommend is to install 2.8.9 ( http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=5581 ). 2.7.15 certificate has expired and that might be contributing to the problems you are experiencing. Once 2.8.9 is installed, please open Java control panel (Java Preferences in MAC), go to the Security tab, and remove all the Universal Devices certificates. Once that is done, start the 2.8.9 Admin Console. With kind regards, Michel
